The first red light for me, was the part where the ad stated “that for a one time fee, you would get half a year worth of free service.” I then waited for them to further explain the details thereafter; (there was no further information). So, I decided to search the website for information about this product, and happened upon your’s. Thank you for all that you do, in protecting the various viewers who view your site. I am a fan of your content, and am now a subscriber.
I just watched their ad and I was convinced to buy one of the Ryoko wifi's, the I searched YT what it was about and found your video - after watching your video and stating facts, I decided NOT TO ORDER A RYOKO !! THANK YOU !1
Thanks for a real honest review. I saw on a review site that they're asking buyers to give a positive review before receiving the device in order to get a discount 🤨
An ad for this product appears during your review. 😂 4G LTE is akin to a free govt phone. Thank u for this review. Being a senior on SS, I can't waste money. Thanks again. ❤❤
Thank you sir you just saved a ton of money and a huge headache I’ve been tempted to buy into this scam several times but each time i pulled out my wallet a voice kept saying don’t it’s a scam and you just proved what i was thinking so again thank you very much
Their ads are very convincing and confusing. But the end result? Oooo need to buy it! Watched your video and have probably saved myself a big headache and letdown. Thank you 😊
People first hand knowledge ( i bought one) DO NOT PURCHASE. THIS REVIEW IS VERY CORRECT THE REVIEWS THAT HE IS SHOWING YOU TELL THE TRUTH ONLY IT IS MUCH WORSE . i have wasted hours finding out its all a scandalous sales gimmick!!!
People nothing is free in life, you pay for the wireless hotspot and you pay for a subscription to a data plan, so why not just add the wireless hotspot data plan to your phone, you don’t need the extra gadget.
Why is UA-cam currently bombarding people with ads about this 'device' ? Is anyone reviewing these ads? Probably one of those naive questions of mine...
Google handles ad space for YT. For all these fraud ads there are 10 lined up in the pipeline. Google is going to have to figure something out because the amount of fraud is hitting critical mass.
That's google cuz they know ur searching. Sometimes I talk about something and I swear these phones listen. All of a sudden ads appear everywhere for it
@@nenaj1you are correct your phone is listening to you and that does happen a lot. I read in Google's fine print in order to use their service you give them permission to use photos in your gallery that they could use for advertisement and you get no compensation for it. There's so much in the fine print that people don't know if they did Google would go out of business. Just have to get used to there's no such thing as privacy anymore.
These days, honestly.....don't trust anything online, especially if it sounds too good. What concerns me is that people didn't even think, or realize, that even if it were legitimate, you would still need to add credit to the SIM card for service.
I think about this often: Many human beings were not ready for the internet and have not educated themselves even though many of them have been using it since AOL in the 1990s.
Thank you, thank you for this honest review I was seriously considering getting this but after watching your review it is obvious this is a huge scam. Sorry all of those folks got ripped off, their not going to get me thanks to your review, thanks again.
Appreciate the video and the review. I couldn’t really understand why everybody was falling for this since all you have to do is get a hotspot on your phone and if you’re lucky like me and have an unlimited data plan, my phone already does the job, better. You double that up with an iPad that also has a hotspot and you’ll pretty much always have a roaming Wi-Fi connection. But I did wanna look into it just because I’m always looking for better speeds and something I can use in my RV as a travel around. Ryoco is NOT it.
@@morirsonando-greatlife5029 use your phone. I don't know how it works where you live but in Australia we just go to settings, select Personal Hotspot and turn it on. Anyone you allow just searches for an internet connection and will see yours. You give them a password that you decide on the spot and they connect to the internet, via your phone and of course, your data allowance. Dead simple. There you go, you have the device already!
I just had a gentleman telling me what a great deal this has been for him, so I'm wondering if there are other versions of this device that are worth the cost.
This kind of garbage only reinforces confidence for scammers on which platforms to push their wares and get away with it. I wish somebody would go after those platforms.
Why would I buy this device? For just a few dollars extra I can get a hot spot on my phone. Maybe I just don't understand what a Ryoko really is. Can somebody explain the difference, If possible?
Think about it like a separate hotspot for any device you need internet for on the go. So if your phone doesnt have hotspot or if the signal is weak where youre at, this would give you steady internet wherever you are and on any device.... that being said, I think this particular product is a scam. I also think they'll sell all your data, but thats just a thought.
I have tried several times to contact this company via phone call but to no avail. No matter what option I choose the recording ALWAYS lead to a 2 questions survey. How ever you answer, the recording will tell you to have a nice day and to contact them again if you should have more questions. I called back several times choosing different options but I received the same outcome and never got the chance to speak to anyone. I want to cancel my order but contact a rep to do so!! 😡🤯😡😡

No UA-cam doesn't care if it's a rip off product As long as they get paid And I can't really blame them. I think all those stupid rip off commercials are kind of funny although they do get annoying after a while.
I can only mimic the many others on here, first it took forever to arrive, it looks like it was packaged by an employee that didn’t give a sh#%t about their job,the unit had sticky stuff like something from a child’s lunch'the usb cord was knotted and even the box was dirty, first thing I noticed was the cheap quality, I knew immediately it was a Chinese knock off , I noticed that I had the original brand muama was and the unit was made of b&w plastic nMaterial, whereas this crap was solid white and only had the name ryoko, typical of Chinese manufacturers,I wrote to them because I knew that no one would answer that number and explained how I wanted to return ,no response to my email, yet constant email begging me to get started, one claimed they’d help me by phone, I mean it’s not that hard, but that SIM card would bring them money ,so I called to record me asking about the return policy,as soon as I said my name I was put on hold then disconnected and when I called again..guess what.. not in service..stay far away, you’ll never get your refund
Thank you for this. I saw the product and was interested because I do travel internationally and it seemed interesting, but some parts of their advertising were questionable. Upon researching it I found your channel. Definitely seems flaky.
I don't have a plan and I almost bought Ryoko before seeing this. It was like my Alcatel, so when we were on the road and my car broke down I could call someone or my twins could use their tablets while I'm the car or to use navigation to get somewhere I'm unfamiliar with. So now I to search for something else. Ugh! Do you have any recommendations?
I’m looking at purchasing, perhaps I won’t. Allow me to point out however, your phone hot spot will NOT do what this claims to. I have Verizon, my hot spot throttles way back at 30 gigs. Secondly, to activate my hot spot or phone in a foreign country costs $100 per line. IF this device were to work, it would definitely be a worthwhile purchase for an international traveler.

This isn’t a review of the product, it’s a critique of the places you featured who are selling it. How about grabbing one & giving your viewer an actual review rather than opining about the sites selling one.
