Hello primal, great video, 1 question please, how long does the fat wood last if you store it and was it from the spruce tree ? Sorry thats 2 questions. Thanku , safe camping
Thanks so much for watching, Glad you enjoyed it! Fat Wood can last indefinitely if stored well, the resin acts as a preservative, it's great for long term storage for this reason. Also, yes spruce is a great candidate as are most resinous pines & firs :)

Lovely camp, surprised we have never crossed paths up there, always camping and knocking about round that area, nice quiet spot that, know it well! Also used to beat on the local buttermilk shoot not too far away too. Great area we have on our doorstep 👌🏻 Rich

Never made sauages myself but would love to give it a go. Enjoyed learning about fat wood and want to start looking for some myself. Thanks so much Steve! It was an excellent camp, casserole and way to wind back and relax. Thankfully Jerry didn't pop up and times were spent relaxin and all tha Jazz! Can't wait to drop off supplies to the bearded fisherman soon!
