Brač is a Croatian island in the Adriatic sea that boasts spectacular nature, picturesque small towns and beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters. Brac is the nearest island to Split and it takes about 1 hour to travel from Split to Brac by ferry.
The main entry point to Brac island is Supetar, its capital and largest town. Brac island is most famous with its large V-shape pebble beach Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn) that changes its shape depending on the wind and tide.
Zlatni Rat is located in the small town of Bol and is one of Croatia's best beaches. To get to Bol you can get a taxi or a bus from Supetar for about 1 hour.
Zlatni Rat beach is 2 km from the central part of Bol and you go through a shady pine trees promenade to reach the beach. Along the way you will see other small beaches.
Zlatni Rat offers various beach activities - aquapark, banana ride, paddle boats and more. There are also a few bars and restaurants on the beach and on the promenade that leads to the beach.

I was on Brac 24 hrs ago, now back again in holland...had a amazing holiday...being on that beach felt like a privilige
I'am planning to do the same thing , do you think 'that I could visit Split from Brac ? I don't have a car, just using public transport ?
@@atarax232323 jes no problem, you can use the ferry...takes about 30 to 40 minutes to get there...enjoy ;)..I wish I could be there again

I am going to Brač in a few weeks, where is the best place to stay? I mean, what town you think it's easier to get around?
We spend holidays in Brac (Postira) 2006 Very beautiful area....2012 we have already booked vacation in Trogir and Hvar, but we had to cancel, because I had an accident.....and in this days I remind the beautiful vacation and I want to stay in Bol ...Now with flight and apartment.... Your video is very peaceful....We were two times in Bol. Once very stressful after walking down to Blaca an the beautiful long way back and once on a tour to Dubrovnik

Will be in Brac in July this year, what place you recommend to stay in- Bol or Supertar?
It's difficult to say. Bol is more touristy and Zlatni Rat is there, which is the most popular beach in Croatia. You'll find hotels, family-run accommodations and many restaurants to spend the night in. Supetar is also a good choice to stay. The ferry stops there and the town has good bus connections. Here you'll also find beautiful beaches, restaurants and places to stay.
