    That was good. I’ve had many a day had a grill and all my time, patty melt was always on rye- Russian or Jewish, With Swiss cheese melted on the grilled bread on the grill. I like the twist of the thousand Island even though that was only used for Rubens in shops I worked in. The flat top king! Best flat top channel on the tube!

    Lordy, just found this one and you have another form of butter to master. Stepping it up again!! This looks scrumptious, onions on the griddle are one of my favorites as well. Great combo's again. Doctor of the griddle.

    Nice job! Roasted garlic gets that wonderful sweet taste. And for folks who like garlic bread that compound butter makes it easy to split a baguette, smear on the compound butter, and run it under the broiler, on the griddle or over the coals for a nice toasting............

    I use to make thousand island dressing when I use to work at 5 guys. Its literally ketchup, mayo, a dot of mustard, lemon juice from 1 or 2 wedges, salt, pepper and relish. I use to get alot of tips for doing it even though you not suppose to do it lol.

    I had some Kewpi Wasabi Mayo. Used it with cocktail sauce to make a Russian Dressing. Omitted the horseradish from the dressing recipe. Turned out amazing.

    It doesn’t have to be with Rye but the traditional I know for the South is rye. Just like you make everything else like you personally want you can also do this one, but if you want it traditional it’s with Rye and you will see why when you eat it on rye.

    We're getting near the winter season up nort'.....My griddle is on an open patio. I have it under the hard cover and then a soft grill cover to deter moisture and rust. I'm yearning to keep it outdoors all year for these type of recipes. Are there any all-season griddlers who griddle in the snow season?

      I was fortunate enough to be able to build a lean-to to keep mine grills,flat top, smoker etc out of the weather and to be able to use all of them through the snow season of new york.

    Sent this comment to fast I have a question did campchef change the design of there side shelfs. ?? Went to shiptons Big R in billings we have 3 stores now. The campchef griddles they had on display had the shelfs with the lips facing up sure looked backwards tome. Do you know if they changed them or just some kid put them on upside down ?? THANK you Frank from montana....

      @TheFlatTopKing  3 роки тому

      Great Question. Honestly I have no idea. I prefer mine the way I built them with the lip facing down. I can contact Camp Chef if you want me to.

      @@TheFlatTopKing Neil good Morning, did you ever see that ? I would love to know.. Tell me your ideas on the six burner stove, is it better then the four burner. ( as far as quality built ) does it come with Grill grates like the four burner ? When you contact them get them to send you a six burner to compare both. Thanks for responding. ps don't get scared today .I have not had a trick or treater in 30 years in this house to far back in the middle of nowhere I guess. You know being you lived in Wyoming.. Take care FRANK from montana..
