The I suggest you listen to the version by McQueen8601 ! The guitars do kick a lot harder there, although their sound reminds me of an old floppy drive.
In fact, I would love to hear a cover of this theme on the Floppotron! ^^

The SNES had the better sound chip, but I’ll say the genesis DEVS did a lot more with less, as Sonic is still the GOATED video game OSTs. But DKC was close for that time. You’re doing god’s work, keep it up 👍
