Spent countless hours on the phone listening to stories of his clients fishing adventures. I still spend a lot of time in vilas county musky fishing and remembering Tony and the times we shared.

Another way to cool down in the heat is to dunk your hat or shirt in the lake and put it back on soaking wet. Believe me, 70 degree water feels mighty cold in 90+ degree heat. As they dry, the evaporation will keep you cool.

I would say when your a client instead of a buddy making a video for the world to see Mark must try a little harder. I took him out last year based on one and these videos and it was the worst guide experience of my life. I would normally use Hulbert but he’s a little rough around the and I didn’t want to offend the guys I was fishing with. Went the whole day without anything and moon phase 4-430 and at 420 hook a nice 45”-50 fish. One hook on the treble up under the tongue with a white Medusa. I had that fish boat side for 20 seconds and he couldn’t net the fish. It got so bad that he pitched the net complete vertical half out of the water and had the top eye of the rod at least 2’ on the other side of the net trying to push it down horizontally so he could actually net the fish. That fish got about 6” in the net and wasn’t going in unless it swam in. Then proceed to swim the opposite direction and I still almost backed the fish into the net. If I he would have given one ounce of energy he easy could have netted the fish. Then I had to sit there the next day and listen to him talk about hanging himself and oh if contact me for another trip I’ll give you a good deal because I hate seeing no fish trips. Like the lake is huge and you pay these guides to get you to a bait current that has fish, have reliable gear, and net a fish. Guess Marks is more of a trolling guide and needs them half dead to net them. The trips with travel and hotel are not for a guide not to give 100% is a waste. I know it’s the man’s livelihood but I see my money better spent lighting it on fire or giving it to a food bank.

Bro, really.... That's a pretty funny comment you posted... I bust my ass for everyone and am fast on the net with everyone... I have many clients, friends and peeps that will back that up in a heartbeat... You comment about what I did wrong but..... Maybe I should comment about everything you did wrong handling that fish.... Wait I'm not that kind of guy.... Enjoy fishing with Hulbert as he will be sure to let you know what you do wrong... Thanks for watching the vid...
