Loved this video Doug & Amy, with an update of what you guys are up to. I miss Nicole, what a beautiful spirit. Hard to believe it’s been 3 years. Safe in God’s arms. It was great to see the war memorial in Appleton. Thank you for taking the time to show and explain it to us. What a blessing to hear a Christian couple, explain the simplicity of God’s love.
This was so moving Amy.. Won't lie I shed a tear. I love this channel because it shows the true in your hearts.. God bless your family.. Without the Lord we never would be shown in true light. No matter how dark the day there will always be light.. let it shine upon our hearts in the glory of God's kingdom
Amy we thoroughly enjoyed this video. You and Dougo are truly a neat couple. We all miss Nicole and we still pray for the family. Watching Dougo at the lake and fixing that tile and you and him going on with each other was special. And of course we are grateful for all those who died defending our great country and our freedom. We love your family. 🇺🇸🙏👍❤️
Never forget, it's allways a good thing to clear your mind and talk to a departed loved one the rush of memories of the past soothes the heart and soul plus can declutter your mind. Yes, they are no longer here, but they are in your heart forever.
I saw sculptures like the water buffalo a few years ago at the art festival in Fort Worth. I believe they were $20k+. But that includes delivery. And was before all the inflation.
Wonderful video filled with truth and wisdom! I have Nicole's passing on my work calendar for the past three years so I don't forget. Great to see Stone made an appearance.
Oh your husband 😂 I get a laugh every time I either watch your channel or chets channel. Dougo is a hoot he puts comedy in everything ❤. Keep up the amazing work both of you Amy and Doug 💗. I can't believe that it's already been 3 years since we as a UA-cam family and whatnot lost Nicole.
"Read it, believe it, and live it". Wow. How simple but meaningful is that..... Thank you Doug. Thank you BOTH for sharing how God works in your lives. It's beautiful. God bless.
Yup, it’s that time of years to visit the cemetery. I got to a caretaker of our local cemetery where I have a ton of family members buried. Even my grandmother parents there. I enjoy being out there mowing the grass, selling lots, marking out plots for burial.
The ironic thing is I didn't see this until April 30th. It's the 9 month anniversary of my cousin Jordan's home going . THANK YOU FOR THE BIBILE VERSES.
In Canada we celebrate Rememberce day, November 11th to honor our veterans and those who lost their lives to the wars. Most stores are closed and the children do not go to school on that day. Stores can only sell milk and bread until 11:00 am. I do also miss Nicole. RIP.
I really enjoy your videos and messages, this one is special because it reminds me of my best friend who passed away from cancer at 17 years old in 1988. Yesterday a gentleman posted on facebook that while cleaning headstones he came across my friends.
This was a hard one to watch.......... Even though I do not personally know your family, from all of the videos you have put out with Larson Farms, which I have followed religiously, Nicole was an angel and it is still heart breaking to me that she has passed. Her and Chet were so good together.
My wife and I have a trust and have spelled out what is to be done when we pass. Prior to that, we have had several in-depth discussion on disposition of our earthly bodies. Thank you for sharing your drive with us!
Hi Amy and Doug Where your name is on the head stone is in relation to what side of the bed you slept on. Well in Australia that’s how it works. Thank goodness we don’t get a lot of experience in this matter. Regards from Tasmania
There still is time, the only real thing in this world that is free, is Salvation. Jesus knows haw to forgive, just believe. The carnage in the garden is a real thing. Adam went along with it. Dougo and AC/DC Thunderstruck is busting me up. and I also loved the Flags.
The headstone ypur describe you want is exactly what is my mom and dad's. I'd send you a picture but I don't know how too lol. Keep up the great videos
There's an historic cemetery in the town I live in and there's a few of the headstones in bench and seat shapes there! I appreciate them so much! The oldest headstone I've found at this cemetery is for a person who was seven years old when the Declaration of Independence was written.
Nicole was full of life, now she enjoys the fullness of life with God, who is the answer to every hope, dream, the answer to all our desires and the love that fills our being. On another note, they usually put the man on the left because most men sleep on that side of the bed.
God bless you and the whole family. Nicole is dearly missed. I don’t like visiting cemetery’s also. It seriously hurts because my twin sister passed in 1988 along with my wife’s brother. It’s seriously painful. May god bless all that has passed.
Still miss Nicole's happy face riding with Chet in the combine and working her restoration hobby on her own channel. I'm happy to know you are still keeping her memory strong in the family. Also appreciate the Theology discussion. Thanks for the extra video today!
You turned a somber day into a moment of laughter. "Just stick a tile flag in with a sharpie written names. I guess I just started watching when Nikki got sick. I am not going to be buried. Ill be cremated and spindle my ashes in a couple favorite spots. Good video guys.
I think we all miss Nikki’s laugh and her giving Chet a hard time. We obviously didn’t know her, but we felt like we did a bit and enjoyed her light they shined. I’m sorry that this hole in your life is still so painful. As a combat veteran on this pain all too well. Memorial Day, anniversaries of men who were family to me, not coming home is always…so raw and painful. Seeing their families at the memorials enduring the toughest pain (in my opinion) and their kids heart broken is…well it’s something that helps me relate to your pain. I appreciate you guys for what’s that’s worth. Oh also I’m crashing Doug’s funeral and playing thunderstruck for him.
This in my opinion was one of your best chats so far. Your take on paradise and what it means is correct. Paradise is where God placed Adam and Eve when he created them it was his garden that he placed them to live in and care from everything in. The carnage you as call it was exactly that. Every relationship there was wrecked and destroyed by the fall into sin nothing was untouched by it.Even today we about and suffer under the effects of it. The reference to the repentant thief on the cross is.an important one..jesus tells him "Today you will be with in paradise". God in his wisdom has a new and better paradisewe will.live in when we go to him it even has the tree of life in it but not the of knowledge of good and evil. He also tells us there is a miraculous tree which bares a different fruit each month of the year. With these glimpses of heaven is is a place.to desire to be because it is.our true home and we truly desire and long to be there with our very being.. I don't do this very often but I think on it a lot and long for it because of the knowledge of pure joy that it will be to live there and the knowledge that loved one's will be there.
I live across the highway from my mom and dad's grave. Don't go to see them. They are not there. I'll meet them in paradise. My sister is hour and half away. Visited once. My nephew of 37 years i have never been since the funeral. I'm a lucky one. I'll see all my family in paradise. Have a question for you..what are your thoughts on cremation??
It’s ok not to go to the cemetery i figure they aren’t there anyway just the body ,you will see them when we get there if we both had jesus. I decided to be cremated and have ashes spread on our farm in shiner tx
Yes , on the first column of the Veterans that the streets were named after, at the bottom there was a Ronald J. Larson just wondering if he was related to Doug's family.@@amysblessings
@@amysblessings I thought maybe that was why you were showing us the memorial. And thanks so much for showing us Nicole's grave site. We all miss her greatly and what a smile!
When I go to a cemetery, I usually walk through the older part where the markers are hard to read, and some you can't read at all. You realize these people are gone, and anyone who remembered them are gone as well. Kind of puts things in perspective. Thank you for taking us along today. That was very kind of you to do that.
I miss Nikki's smiling face. She always was smiling even when she was sick and most of all I miss Dugo talking to nikki during the videos knowing she would see it when she was editing. God bless her. Gone but never forgotten.
Great video. Nikki is missed but so glad Chet found another love to continue his life’s journey. Amy as I watch the main channel (and several other farm channels) I’ve often wondered how the wives deal with keeping the farmers clothes looking so clean. Maybe a segment on the main channel you could give some tips? They surely aren’t buying new stuff every week.
Take Doug's hint and plan for that kind of stuff. My husband spent 10-15 years being the sexton for our township's cemeteries. Rare was the times when someone died that an uproar among family members didn't happen for one reason or another. Great to see a twofer video this week. Thankful Thursday.
Thanks for another great video Amy and Dougo. It was interesting and informative and enjoyable. Very nice video today with a variety of subjects. First you nice discussions about the cemetery. I must admit I enjoy visiting my loved ones in the cemetery for a prayer or a few words. You talked about preparing for this ahead of time. I have done that and have a burial lot already and designs for the headstone and all that. Being I am a veteran myself I will be placed in the Veterans Cemetery, a place of honor. Thanks for your discussion on this. Is important for people to do this ahead of time. Thanks for talking about Nicole. All of us who have been with you for a while remember her very well. What a super person she was. She is missed by all of us. Blessings to Nicole. Field drain tile. Hard job for Dougo by himself. But everyone is busy planting and such. Looked like you were getting it done Dougo. Nice work. Lawn mower seat. Yeah for you Amy getting the rackets strap off the seat. You did good Amy. Time to mow the yard now. Take care. This has been a lovely day with you and Dougo. I did want to mention the wonderful flags and displays setup for veterans in your cemetery. Being a veteran myself, I sincerely appreciate seeing those displays done out of respect for veterans. I served 26 years in uniform all over the world. My blessings to them all. You and Doug take care. Enjoyed today with you both. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
I have come to the conclusion that the name of you loved one is in Gods hands in heaven. They are looking down at us and guiding us in our lives. Stay true is what I try to do. Bless you all
Interesting to see the country side. That clay is the same gumbo as on the farm that I worked at over 60 years ago. North of you in Manitoba, Canada. I was hoping to see the names on some headstones of Amy's ancestors. No luck. Amy would fit right in with my Dutch aunts.
We had a Study by Dr. David Jeremiah entitled "Heaven". It was a very good study with a video every week. You might be interested in it. (Our senior group studied the book along with the videos.) It bothers me that many Christian people are deciding against having a memorial service or funeral. In fact, today we had our windup BBQ with hamburgers and salads. There's nothing wrong with Thunderstruck at the funeral, it's a celebration of the life lived!!! Amy, don't ever worry you don't know how to do some things, everyone has this weakness, and you've got so many things that you're GREAT at!!!!
I went to a funeral for a young boy had cancer and his funeral was at the fairgrounds in the grandstand. His favorite song was Back in Black so the played that. His dad was a farmer that was my age died from a heartache few years later.
No words for the this tragic loss of a beautiful soul. This from someone who you have never met from NE Indiana. I remember it like it was yesterday, Nicole made a video that she had come out intact on the otherside of horrendous treatments and things were looking up. The next literally breathtaking thing was a comment on a video not even related to the channel mentioning the loss….I just couldn’t believe it, didn’t believe it, knowing deep down even in this upside down world that no one is sick enough to make that up. So many people you don’t even know have grieved your loss, so many. So glad you have all made the best of such a dark time and kept the faith. God Bless.
I'm sure glad you showed Nicole head stone i only new her from her videos but she was the neatest girl i know life goes on but i can't imagine how hard it was for Chet to let her go God bless you all
Nikki is sure missed by all. Amy the Cemetery is a beautiful place peaceful too. I live walking in ours cleaning around stones picking up wind blowing silk flowers. Lots of loved ones family names there ,gone before me. It's not a sad place. But a place for His saints to rest as they return to our heavenly home.
Almost every Sunday in the month of May in the south (Tennessee) there is what we call decoration Sunday where flowers are placed on the graves in the cemeteries. Different cemeteries have their decoration on a certain Sunday. Where my family is buried it is the third Sunday in May.
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing and I can't believe it's been 3 years already. Thanks for filming Doug do his repair. The constant video vs clips shows more of how things are done. Very cool. Also the yard looks awesome. You guys enjoy, looks like paradise.
Nichole was a treasure herself, loved life, loved Chet and was always there to help on the farm. She was so loved by many. We miss you Nichole.
