Enjoy the Sunday 28:03 visits with you both! Without Doug there would be no Larson farms, chet, Stone or Amy.! Got to love the Larson team! God bless and be safe. Thank you for your time showing how normal folks live and scratch out a living with positivity!
Amy smiles as Doug digs himself out of his own demise! Doug is a GENUINE farm BOY! Falls asleep and down the ditch because you had to farm late and were too tired to be out late! BT,DT!!!
So many comments you folks say I can relate to as things were very similar in my life. Even the story Doug told of courting Amy and falling asleep and going in the ditch! I did the exact same thing and survived. Happened in the winter and a trucker pulled me out of the ditch after my dad came to help. Somebody was looking out for us! Take care and yes, as we age roofs aren't a good place.
So how many days did it take DougO' to get his weather station up? I'm going to guess 4. 😂 DougO' reminds me of my black pug. She had a one track mind and you'd better not try changing it for her. All I'd have to do is toss a toy in her path or better yet a treat. Awesome video Amy. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Thanks for a great video Amy and Dougo. Like that weather station. Neat device to have. Glad Dougo was safe on the roof. Safety is important. Thanks for all of the discussions. Was interesting. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
As my daddy explained it to me when hair turns brown it all over but raising up the niblets to big Ole kernels. You two really your whole family makes laugh every episode.Thank You
As we age, and especially being in the 50's, adds to the struggle bus. The memory isn't quite so good, the body is fighting ya, and the list of thing's to do before winter is close behind. Amy and Doug are a comical pair, they always have something going on that needs tending to. G-d bless.
Weather station should be on top a short pole so the collection bowl for rain and wind direction and so on has a 360 degree view and also set away from building and trees blocking the weather. Love your channel Amy and Dougo (All the way from South Africa)
Another excellent Sunday afternoon with The Larson’s! NEVER A DULL MOMENT‼️ I think I will need a PowerPoint or old school whiteboard illustration of the corn from seed to mature ear of 🌽. I think I love watching harvesting of corn best of all!
There is nothing better than words of wisdom from Dogo. And the eye roll from Amy. Yes the installed the flashing correct maybe put some black jack caulk under the flashing to hold the flashing down but not nails thru it
A lot of people say to stay off the roof, but that's how you assess any leaves or debris that needs to go, but also any damage can be seen and dealt with. If one is careful, and doesn't take unnecessary risks, they will be okay. G-d bless.
Doug’s late night ride was one thing I tried to avoid when dating my wife. After hearing my brother tell about coming off a bridge on a curve and flying through a corn field and right back up on the road l decided to always take a nap before heading home.
"Sticking to the story" huh Dougo..... Please-- --no falling asleep at the wheel.....thanks for the memories! How did we ever make it through those days of our youth.....
Have no idea how explaining how an ear of corn matures can turn into a PG-17 rating, but then there's Dougo. Still laughing at that one. Amy, in the video where you were in the abandoned house, what chapter was that bible opened to. Just curious. Thanks again for my weekly laugh sessions. In these times it is much needed.
Just wondering. Shouldnt the weather sensor be mounted on the top of the pole. Just thinking the surface of the pole will mess up the wind and water measurement, coming from the blocking direction? 🙂
This sounds bad You may need to check with that home with the corner room If they except guest with dementia You get up with a plan for the day and next thing you know you’re setting on your roof wishing you had some help Not knowing you have the ability to summon help with your phone 😂😂 hope your weather vain works as advertised
This is what Sundays are all about: Learn with Dougo! As a 69 yr old, never really thought about the growth of Corn. But now I know! Why are you so wary about natural sequences, that you rely on for your income? Just Dougo being Dougo I suppose. but we love you anyway.
Doug on the roof reminded me of my dad. He wanted to cut the limbs off a huge oak tree, which were hanging out over the house. Mom caught him up there when she heard the chainsaw running. He had pulled the ladder up to the roof and leaned the ladder from the roof to the tree. The plan was to climb the ladder and cut those limbs off. Holy cow, mom put a stop to that plan immediately. Thank the Lord. Of course, dad didn't see any problem. He truly thought he had a good idea.
You geaux Dougo, nothing really accurate about that weather station hidden behind a powerline pole....but I give you a A+ for effort. Y'all are first class in my book. 💦💨
Good grief, those batteries in the weather station should be lithium ion, instead of regular alkaline, as they don't freeze. And you replace them once a year.
“You’ll be there someday”. Worthy of a t-shirt with Dougos pic.

Dougo struggle bus is real.
It is.
As we age, and especially being in the 50's, adds to the struggle bus. The memory isn't quite so good, the body is fighting ya, and the list of thing's to do before winter is close behind. Amy and Doug are a comical pair, they always have something going on that needs tending to.

Chet stand and hold it 😄

Educational about the development of an ear of corn
You’ll love the Davis weather station. Had one for 4-5 years. Good quality. “You’ll be there someday”. LOL. Right there with ya!
You guys must be sooo proud of Chet, an outstanding young man!
Your lawn looks.amazing!! Great video.. God Bless.
you two are so funny Love watching your videos and your sons also
Thanks so much
Thanks for the memories!
Thanks again for your time making the video watching from Reno NV
Have had the same model for 12 years 200’ away and works great
I just love the field trips.
That flashing is proper. It could use a few face nails with silicone over them, to hold it down. Otherwise your roof looks completely fine.
Long live Dougo!
Another excellent Sunday afternoon with The Larson’s! NEVER A DULL MOMENT‼️
I think I will need a PowerPoint or old school whiteboard illustration of the corn from seed to mature ear of 🌽. I think I love watching harvesting of corn best of all!
Those drivers thought, "Oh look, it's a Dougo gargoyle on the roof!"
Lawn looks great 👍

Its summer but winters coming, Minnesota nuts,
Looks good
Go with a steel roof next time you get hail damage.
Really like mine
Just pound a wood post or metal one in the open yard somewhere and mount your unit problem solved lol.
Dougo struggle bus 😃😃😃😃
Aaah Dougo, to be young and dumb and full of vinegar, we all had some close calls in those days. Glad you are here.

Sticking to the story, ha!
Gotta have rechargeable batteries dougo.
Do you have a link for that weather station? I like that mounting bracket for mine.
Is that pole that the weather station is attached to going to block rain from that direction being recorded?
Amy keep Doug off the roof , safety
Happy Days 😊😊😊
this is so weird my oldest son bought the same weather station 1 year ago and it works perfect.
I think them vehicles were getting prepared of deer hunting already !!
Dougo those three cars might be participating in a Gambler 500 rally,
Lay down in the valley and take a nap Dougo!
lol. 😂 good stuff
For the solar to recharge the batters in the weather station the must be recharged batteries.

Leviticus 22. I plan to talk about it soon but Doug and his projects keep me hopping 😅
You guys are so entertaining now I know Amy he married you because he didn't want to go to town and visit you😂
Dougo your car sounds real nice
Just wondering. Shouldnt the weather sensor be mounted on the top of the pole. Just thinking the surface of the pole will mess up the wind and water measurement, coming from the blocking direction? 🙂

Soup is for winter

Don't trim the Oaks now!!! Wait until winter or they will get Oak wilt. Please!!!!
Tulo Tobi effektive🎉😂
Hey were those 3 vehicles storm chasers?
Dougo I always blamed “closet Gas” when my shirts shrunk on their own like that.
What happens when the wind , rain , sun , and other things comes from the wrong direction ?
So when an Ear Of Corn has been.detassled how that beneficial? I've bot to say Gougo makes full rounded content.God had His hand on Gougo.
How many Larson's does it take to install a rain gauge?
Buy a pole saw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That slap should be lead
What no Dougo? No Larsen farms channel? A wrecked Maurader? That's too much to think about.
It's a bug that chew around the limb witch will die & fall off a clean break .
You cant hang rain gauges, from the rafters
Amy I know this is a tough question, but wood you consider calling your channel the Dougo and Amy Show?
