If you like a bit of young culture, you can find a variety of bars in Hongdae. In Korea, Seoul has the largest population and has a lot of things to see. It's kind of the center, and other than that, there are a lot of ski resorts in Gangwon-do to the northeast because it's winter right now. If you like skiing or snowboarding, consider it. The warmest place right now is Busan in the south. Busan is by the sea, so Haeundae Beach is famous. Slightly above is Gyeongju, a Korean cultural site. However, since it is winter now, I can't really recommend it. If you are coming for a short period of time, it is better to plan your trip in Seoul. I think you'll get better. You don't have to worry too much about security, but foreigners are being ripped off, and prices are rising a lot, so it's always a good idea to check the prices. Many Koreans speak basic English, so if you think something is expensive, ask the person next to you how much it costs and they will tell you. Find out carefully and have a nice trip~
