I don’t know how this was recorded but of all the videos I’ve watched on UA-cam this gives me a real sense of the volume and sustain of these amazing guitars. I can really here all the nuances here. Because of where I live online purchase is my only option and if I ever had doubts purchasing these guitars unheard or played in person I think I’ll rest my case now because of this video. Great job HBG. Thank you.
Brendan many thanks to you for your great reviews! Thanks also to you and Tony Polecastro for the Lowden Strings! You guys are awesome. Strings are pretty great too!
Please have them switch guitars so we can see how it sounds with same player. Difference in player pick tone/technique accounts for much of the difference in sound.
I'm surprised to find koa being considered one of the brightest tonewoods for guitars whereas in ukulele world it is the sweet traditional rich "warm round sounding" wood ! Maybe the surface involved changes the parameters... ... The myrtle guitars has such a beautiful ring, just saying. I didn't know how it would sound, but wow !
Thanks guys, great video. Have you done a tonal comparison between different series models which have the same wood combinations and body sizes? An example would be the F25, F35 and F50 all with cedar tops and rosewood bodies. Is there much difference tonally?
Heartbreaker Guitars, thanks for replying. I think it would help customers who have already decided on what tone woods and body shape they want, but would like some help with which level of model they should go for, when weighing up price vs series appointments etc.

Amazing to see all these in one store.

Any of the 50 series are just beautiful and amazing instruments.
The cream of the crop.
Hard to beat the 50 series. George Lowden is a living legend.

Brendan, as much as the guitars sound great (especially the sinker and brazil), that's just magic you wearing the Bhoys (Celtic) top - up the 'tic 👍

It's an amazing tone wood. Just as beautiful sounding as it is aesthetically! Thanks for watching, Bernadine!
Will it kill them to say how much ?
I say for the Brazilian & Red sinker @ 24 to 30 Grand .

Great question. Putting a few of our Lowdens up "against" each other might be something you see in the near future! Thanks for watching, Malcom!

How much are these bad boys? Lowden guitars are really amazing sounding.
azcharlie2009 Lowden run 5-9k depending on specs
💝
Lovely guitars but I’m hearing distortion in the way they are recorded. Not so with other vids from this channel. Thanks anyway.
We've come along way in the last few years and are happy to have high quality audio these days! Thanks for stickin' with us, Mr. B!

Sound like cheap guitars .
I think its your ears that are cheap, maybe invest in some better ones.
