- WROCLAW, POLAND is not somewhere we thought we would ever visit. Poland in general wasn't on our Travel Bucket List. But man were we surprised!
In this video we're excited to share our first day in Wroclaw with you! Love your video. High quality vodka is refined to get rid of all impurities. It is actually the impurities that make vodka taste bad and give you a hangover (methanol contamination). Very high purity vodka is tasteless (like truly pure water it gives you an impression of being sweet) and it does not give you a headache or make you feel sick in the morning. If you drink it right (with food) it just makes you feel good, no negative side effects. Making chemically pure vodka is very complicated (just H2O + C2H6O + good trace chemicals from the ingredients, be it barley or potatoes).
If you love mountains, be sure to go to the Pieniny Mountains ❤ check the name of the village of Sromowce!!! definitely in the summer, then you will be able to sail down the Dunajec River with real highlanders, beautiful views, a wonderful route to the top of Trzy Korony Mountain if you want, I can recommend you some wonderful places 🎇❤️
You haven't seen Lublin, Warsaw and many other cities, so why the suggestion that Wrocław is the best city? yes it's great, there are many tourists there etc. but is it the best? you must visit Poland east of the Vistula (Lublin, Rzeszów, Sandomierz, the Bieszczady Mountains, the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, Białowieża, etc.) it is another, more beautiful world, one that is unknown in the west.

This type of barszcz in Poland is called czysty barszcz czerwony (pure red borscht) and is eaten with uszka, a type of small dumplings, or as an addition to patties. Sometimes it is treated as the equivalent of hot tea, drink served in a mug to warm up on cold days.
With Uszka is traditional hollydays dish
I dont think czysty is for pure, i would say it is for "clear".

4:20 best place for polish breakfast are places called "bar mleczny" (milk bar)
those are cheap cafeterias with simple dishes based on basics ingredients. this kind of cafeterias was very popular in the 70-80s in Poland, now they're are gaining popularity again.

Wrocław is a true gem, I love that it has much to offer even outside of the city center. You hardly showed the old town, and there is much more old districts in the city. Location on the islands is also stunning, something that is unique to Wroclaw.

to be able to experience full magic of polish beetroot soup, it must be eaten with special kind of dumplings inside. these can be with meat or mushrooms inside. probably you wont go there but you should visit Kraków city. Ofc Wroclaw is a gem, but Kraków is city of old polish kings. so in my personal scale of Polishness, Kraków is the crown jewel. Wroclaw was german city, Warsaw was destroyed in 90% during II ww, and Kraków was always somehow protected. ps thank you for visiting my homeland ! you are so nice.

Barszcz screams for pierogi in it, or a side of "pasztecik"- yeast dough usually stuffed with meat mixtures, less often with vegetarian mixtures :D

10 złotych for a "pączek" is NOT cheap... But the ones from small bakeries are worth it. Otherwise "cheap" is like about 3 złote.
In Poland we drink cold vodka. Different types of vodka taste different. Everyone can choose to their own taste. There are vodkas in which you don't feel the amount of alcohol when drinking, but they get in your head, so you have to be careful. ;)

Red borscht comes in different versions. The one you ordered is pure borscht to be drunk with a second course, that's why it was in a cup, but it also comes with small dumplings - "Uszka" and soup with pieces of red beetroot. HeHe, you have learned the most important sentence in Poland - "Cheers". Vodka should always be slightly cold. The oldest restaurant in Europe, named after the city of Świdnica, which was famous in the Middle Ages for its excellent beer and was opened under this name in other early countries. But the recipe for this beer was lost over time. But I was waiting for you to go to the pastry shop for cheesecake, apple pie and others? Cool vlog!
You should try also more Polish traditional soups. We eat a lot of various home made soups.
We were waiting for the part 2 of Your video from Wrocław. Really nice one. Great that You've enjoyed Your trip. But You definitely must also visit Cracow (in Polish: Kraków). About Polish donuts (pączki), the best one are with rose filling (wild rose petal jam). On the last Thursday of Carnival, called "Fat Thursday", we traditionally eat plenty of Polish donuts (it's a special day of eating it).

A cup of red borscht for such a cold is the best thing ;) The vodka is well iced, so it's easy to drink. We usually keep vodka in the freezer before parties at home.

Probably the three most beautiful Polish (large) cities are Wrocław, Kraków, and Gdańsk. But there are lots of smaller cities and towns that you may be delighted with, not to mention the nature; mountains, forests, lakes, the seaside... enough for a lifetime, almost 🙂

You should definetly also visit Gdańsk beautiful city with a seaside! Honestly Poland in the Summer is like a hidden Spain! It’s hot, the food is good, freshest fishes ever and the vibes are amazing. Also Krakow and Tatra Mountains in the Winter time, skiing and sightseeing.. welcome to Poland guys what a beautiful couple! 🥰

Oh, there's food in restaurants. The next time you come to Poland, rent a room in the countryside, near the city in Agrotourism. Home-cooked food. 100% better, clean air, flowers, fresh fruit and peace.
Moze podasz im jakieś dobre propozycje. Ja nie mam doswiadczenia, ale myślę, że im by się bardzo podobało tak spędzić trochę czasu na polskiej wsi wśród przyrody.

Fajny film ale jak chcecie się zachwycać polskim jedzeniem to proponuję wam podróż po polskich wioskach, tam się dopiero przekonacie jaka bogata jest kuchnia w każdym zakątku Polski. W restautacjach to jest mały ułamek tego co można smacznego zjeść😂😂😂😂😂. . Nawet na UA-cam są filmy jakie pyszności można spotkać na wiejskich imprezach.

I've been there like 2-3 weeks ago and the weather was so unusual 25-28°C and cloud less sky. Beautiful city. Check the Panorama Raclawicka that's 120m 360° painting 5m high beautiful with translating device you could hear the story about this battles when Poland struggle to come back on map

What a pity that you came when the weather got worse for us. I hope you will come to Poland more than once, as we have many beautiful other cities and places in Poland to see, and each one is a little different. Wrocław is certainly one of those underrated cities by tourists in Europe. We warmly invite you to visit us when it's warmer - in fact, I think the warmer air is finally coming to us and from this weekend we could say that spring has arrived.
Do you have any idea which Polish city you will visit next? I'm suggesting Krakow as standard for now, but if you decide to come there, let us know in advance in your film - people will also recommend other cool places near Krakow (Zakopane is not included in these suggestions, as it's an obvious place).

Trust me that those pączki are extremely over paid at 10 PLN because of location. Normally it would cost 3-5 PLN.
To chyba Stara Pączkarnia, sieciowka. Są drogie ale wymiatają, i kupuję w mało turystycznym mieście.
Don't buy pączki in Biedronka or Lidl (pączki are rubish there and cost 3-5 PLN).
The best pączki are in places called "Pączkarnia" - you pay more but they are freshly made and are delicious.
