Ich bin erstmal nicht wirklich begeistert. Klingt ganz okay, aber ich finde, dass die Melodien & Harmonien im Grunde genauso für irgendeine x-beliebige J-Pop/Idol-Pop-Gruppe geschrieben sein könnten. Ich hab echt nix gegen poppige Musik, aber bei J-Pop stört mich meist generell die Vorhersagbarkeit. Bisher waren BM nicht dafür bekannt, Melodien in dieser Art zu haben, sondern waren spannend und aufregend. Das fehlt mir hier doch ziemlich.
Ich würde sagen, einer (wenn nicht der) Songs, die am wenigsten "metal" sind. Schockmomente bietet er sicherlich nicht, ist aber meiner Meinung nach sehr solide. Außerdem passt er musikalisch zu den Lyrics. Und schlussendlich müssen wir abwarten, wie er sich in das Gesamtwerk einpasst. Immerhin ist "The Other One" ein Konzeptalbum...
P.S.: Ist schon witzig, wie jeweils an den neu erschienenen Alben "rumgemäkelt" wurde. Einige, die damals z.B. "Metal Galaxy" regelrecht zerrissen haben, sehen das mittlerweile als ihr Lieblingsalbum an. Warten wir also mal ab.
@@steffenjachnow8176 Rummäkeln liegt doch in der Natur des Menschen, vor allem im Internet. ;-) Für mich ist MG nur ihr drittbestes Album (ich finde es recht durchwachsen), aber bei TOO habe ich weiterhin gute Hoffnungen, dass es mir besser gefallen wird. L&D kann ich ja notfalls skippen, falls es mich irgendwann nerven sollte. Aktuell finde ich es ganz okay, tut nicht weh, aber da habe ich in den letzten Monaten eben deutlich spannendere Musik aus Japan gehört. Und genau das, das Aufregende, fehlt mir bei L&D und ein bisschen auch schon bei MK. Ich gehe aber mal davon aus, dass, wie Du schon sagst, alles Sinn ergeben wird im Gesamtzusammenhang.
