Despite considering various remedies suggested by his daughters and viewers, he embraces the idea of letting his hair grow naturally, even if it means looking unconventional. Elliott invites viewers to join him on his hair transformation journey while maintaining his characteristic humor and honesty.

    Ole E going to start looking like Trevor from GTA 5. 😄 I'm in the same boat E, but I'm 27. Our masculinity doesn't depend on things we can't control, and I actually don't think it looks bad. Will Knowlands speech on Patriarchy comes to mind here, scars and marking, even aging are a sign of the life you've lived, e.g. WW2 vets with holes in their head. Or Lions with scars and lame legs. Maybe doesn't look good by worldly standards but is actually a badge of honor, I think. Some people don't live long enough to go grey or lose their hair.

    As a barber my self ; You should fade the sides with a Skin tight fade . . And cut the top down to like a 2 or a 1 .It will give you a cleaner look. While doing that ,you can use the serum on the desired areas so the hair can grow evenly. And yes I recommend doing scalp messages daily along with derma rolling once a week with the serum. From watching you over the past few years, your look changed a lot after you went on TRT. You blew up, got big AF, and then got off and aging caught up quick. That's just my observation. Same thing happened to my boy. Went on TRT, after he decided to get off, lost his hair and aged fast. Thats why Im trying to resist the pull to go the synthetic route. It's cool to see you be open and vulnerable with it though. Lot's of dudes struggle with it.

    Its androgenic alopecia, if you want your hair back what I recomend the most is using rogaine + dermaroller at least 0.5 mm needle length and a good oil for hair follicle nutrition.
    The way you do it is you pour rogane mixed with a nice hair oil and dermaroll on top to get the most product into your scalp. I have great hair genetics but I used PEDS in the past so my sides were starting to thin, I did that and now im good as new.. try it!!

  • @Dannystein727
    @Dannystein727 3 місяці тому

    My hair has thinned out in areas. I washed my hair line for like a minute, rinsed and repeated until my hand skin crinkled. I might have used an exfoliating glove on occasion. The result was the tiny barely visible bumfluff (start of a beard) (I have blonde hair)that quickly disappears when the skin fills up with oil. I notice that beard grows in your grunt face when you’re lifting more but I think it’s like running where you have to be on it every day.

    I've realized that it's best just to grow the healthiest hair that you can regardless of how you are balding, and it will look good. That means taking vitamins for your hair and collagen. And then let it do its thing and growth naturally. All these guys say, "shave it" and all this. But I've tried shaving it, and that's high maintenance as hell. Plus, I've noticed that women prefer me with hair regardless of my male pattern baldness as opposed to completely shaving my head bald and looking like a cancer patient.

    -Nizoral Shampoo 3x a week.
    -1mm-1.5mm derma roller or derma stamp maybe 2-3 times a week (clean with alcohol).
    If you do that, your hairline should at least partly come back. You might want to be careful with Finastirde bc it has some strange sides sometimes; topical is generally better and my recommendation.
    I started balding at 16/17 and started a partial treatment at 19 and a complete tre ment at 22; now I am 24 and have not lost much more since I was 19 and gained some extra back at 22/23 when I did the complete treatment.

    I’ve tried rogaine and herbal tinctures I made myself, and I’ve given up on it. I try to keep my head shaved often but it’s a lot of work. You at least have the benefit of a wife and family and career. I still feel the need to prove myself in the world and that tends to involve an amount of peacocking, so I do sometimes get self conscious. Annoyed, at this point tbh. I’ve been shaving my head since I was 24 and I’m 30 now.

      Try topical minoxidil and finasteride combo and you'll see your hair grow like weeds. Worked for me and I've been using it for over a year now with great results. Also, hair transplants are super common nowadays with many going over to Turkey or Mexico for its affordability. Do it bro and you won't regret it.

    Elliott you should look into getting on finasteride to stop ur hairloss and also grow ur hair back. I have been on finasteride 1.25mg daily for over a year now. The reason why I got on it was because I shaved my hair short in Aug 2022 (number 2) and noticed right away the corners of the front of my hair had thinned a bit, almost like someone had shaved a small line through each corner (I was a month short of turning 31 at this time, but wasnt surprised because that's where my dad has lost hair). The last time I shaved my hair short like this was when I was 26 and had no thinning at this time. So once I saw the thinning, I already knew about finasteride but not much info, so I started watching heaps of UA-cam vids and research on the internet, saw the possible side effects but saw they're rare to get, and in a week and a half I decided I will try it. So I went to my doctor, and said I noticed I've lost some hair, said I wanted to get on finasteride, and got a prescription no problem and started it. I didn't get any side effects at all, and wanted to eventually shave my head number 2 again after a year to see if hair has grown back, stayed the same, or if I've lost more. So I shaved my hair number 2 again, and I was surprised to see my hair is back to 100%! Also there is dutasteride which is basically a stronger version if you dont get good results from finasteride.

  • @Danimal77
    @Danimal77 3 місяці тому

    Elliott, we're the same age and I have a similar hair loss situation to you. I tried using finasteride/propecia for 3 years and had bad side effects. It's an androgen blocker, so no, don't use that. I also tried Rogaine/Minoxidil foam that you rub into the troubled areas once to twice a day. It did help, but when I was out in the sun, it had a bad reaction and my entire face got swollen, so I stopped that too. What could have damaged your hair is crash dieting or even strong shampoos with toxic chemicals, like Head and Shoulders. Anyway, that's my experience as a 46 year old in the same situation as you, who is also trying to get back in shape with previous injuries and an annoying trigger finger on my right hand!

    • @daveyjones585

      Finasteride isn’t an androgen blocker. It is a type 2 5ar inhibitor. It reduces the production of dht which is a vestigial hormone once you’re fully developed,in adult males testosterone is the important androgen when it comes to masculinity and virility and finasteride actually increases testosterone by 10 percent.

    Consider blood circulation, inflammation and tension, E ;) one unorthodox example I personally enjoy is hanging on an inversion rack now and then (also helps decompress and detox your spine).

    I'm pretty sure it's alopecia which is a auto-immune condition which pops up when your cns is inflamed. I have the same issue but in my beard. Too much caffeine, bad sleep, working out, stress etc can cause this. Usually a bunch of things at once are what cause it. I highly recommend looking into a cns reset. It may cause the hair to start growing back. Just a thought!

      I had alopecia areata, 3 bald spots smooth as a baby on my scalp for 3 years, stumbled on a video with Dr eric berg, dark side of zinc etc about 4 months ago. Started to take two zinc pills with my last meal of the day, then weeks later i notice finally more growth. In late november my bald spots fully grew back. I also lost weight, stress lowered which also could contributed. I also massaged the scalp and earlier dermarolled, But heard Alopecia is inflammation in the gut so gotta fix that i think.

    • @AngelicRequiemX
      @AngelicRequiemX 3 місяці тому +4

      Not all alopecia is due to an auto-immune condition. What Elliot most likely has is male pattern baldness, which is genetic. You can tell by the way he's balding in the front that it's not an auto-immune condition.
