Great question. The icicles are ABS icicles from Boscoyo Studio. They don't come with the pixels so you definitely have to do it yourself to populate them all. LOL
As of July 2020, regarding this topper I had asked Overkill Metal about this topper. This is what they stated in an e-mail That's a J64x360 It was an early topper before the design of my T-hooks that fit the HD-roll from Boscoyo. www.ecwid.com/store/overkill-metal-toppers/ So, the current model number is T64x360-FL/J64x360-FL 18. I couldn't find any toppers on GE USA's site.
@@jakestopstalkingme6974 I like running more pixels out of a single output. I use Falcon Receivers at the point of consumption for data and power which allows me to run up to 300 pixels at a time at 30%-40% brightness. I use zero power injection. It's just one way of achieving the same result.
Love the dinosaur. It makes the video! 😂
I'd change the base to a larger ROUND base that way you can ROLL it out onto the lawn. Thanks for sharing
Ron, how did you mount the ASAP pole to the concrete stand
There is a threaded sleeve that is cemented in and once it cures you add the pole.
Hey Ron,
Thanks for the video. I was wondering about how you made your icicles, was that a DIY? Do you have a video about the build?

Is your star coming out of your tree's controller? Or does it have it's own?
It is from the same controller that has 48 outputs.
What is the diameter of the mega tree topper? To me, it looks about 18-20" and 1/2 to 3/8" thick?? Do you recall where you bought it?
18" from overkill metal. Gilbert Engineering USA is carrying a similar topper.

Where did you buy the star from?
This star was purchased from Boscoyo 4 years ago. Ill be replacing it with a new Gilbert Engineering USA star soon. Both have great products.
where did you buy your topper?
Overkill Metal bit ybe no longer male these. Gilbert Engineering will male these.
If you don't mind, where do you order your pixels? Im wanting to do this next year and was wondering where you recommend ordering pixels. Thanks!
Most of these came from Crockett Fantasy of Lights now known as CFOL. You can also get them from WireWatts or The RGBMan.
@@xTremeSequences Ok thank you so much! Do you recommend 5V Or 12V Pixels?
@@jakestopstalkingme6974 I am strictly a 12v guy.
Ron Howard Thank you, any particular reason why?

Can you tell me what stuff you use on the mega tree?
Everything you want to know about this mega tree can be found here: www.magicchristmas.org
The grass grows back to normal about two weeks before you put the pole out the next year. 😄🤣👍
Use lock-tite so you don’t have to tighten the j hooks every year
Yep, that's an old video and nothing ever loosens now.
Nice video. Thanks
