Been playing lil less then a year, 100%ftp. You've been my main source of info, keep up the good work! This is my first comment on any videos but figured as I was listening to this video when I finally beat Dragon 25 for the first time, it was as good of a time as any to say TY for all the info! depending on secret room tonight might be the night I get my first Doom Tower champion also! Now I just have to get past gold 1 arena so I can get Arbitor...LoL. Waiting on the Teumesia video to see what get out of her as I was lucky to pull her during her 10x event.

Ash, one little suggestion. You like to keep spinning your mouse wheel while watching your arena fights. We were trying to see all the numbers from the heal, and with you spinning that wheel and the screen is shaking (zooming in and out very quickly). we have a hard time following and it was pretty dizzy.
Boomer had a ton of great suggestions. I was really interested in his Helior strategy.
I have my helior in guardian, resist, hp. He is a mini ursuga
Everything I've read is that the curing set is not additive like they get healed for 30% plus the 20% from the set (50%), but instead it would be like 30% + (30%×20%) which comes to only 36%. So if they were healed by say 3,000, then the %20 would only add an additional 600.(the way its worded on the set is confusing)
*edit* I just tested it and it woks the second way. My healer normally would heal 15%, but after adding the set he healed 18% so it only increased by 3% (15%×20%). So, this set is pretty useless unless you have someone who heals a massive amount to start with.
So what would be the best set for vogoth ? (Except guardian I don't have a guardian set)
My friend and I discussed this exact build like a month ago, glad to see the moments when great minds think alike :)

I 60d Vogoth yesterday, and truly don’t know how to gear properly. I managed to finally get by FW14, albeit not 3 stars. But was definitely a worth the leveling.
About to hit 90 days played. Vogoth was my first epic received and second 6 star after Kael mostly because he was all I had that the internet said was any good. I've never regretted it and he gets used everywhere. Gonna have to look at that curing set idea, sounds great!
Dude I totally feel you on weather in New England. I can't remember how many times it would say we're getting 8-12 inches of snow and wake up and see grass. Same on the flipside, 1-2 inches and its up to my waist. Gotta love MA weather :(
I pulled vogoth when I started and he carried me through everything. I don't have any curing gear but I'll start farming some.
Since empower-system dropped and arena goes harder, i changed from speed team to a tank team to hold me gold 4. Raglin Lead, Seeker (but only 185 speed from clanboss-rotation), Magnarr for Damage and Vogoth in a guardian set from griffin. And it works really good, maybe i will try curing, thanks for testing man 👍
I pulled Vogoth pretty early and he was such a good counter to the annoying low power speed lead with Warmaiden and Kael teams which seemed to be everywhere at lower arena levels.
I always avoid him in arena defenses, there's a list I avoid he's one of the only epics.
I think if they added something like 5% extra speed or 10% hp it would be used a lot more

I've been waiting for this concept to be brought up ever since Bommels first DT rotation! Started to build Vogoth (like everyone else lol) but everywhere I looked, would recommend Regen gear. But got curious about Curing. Looked everywhere for anyone who tried it and if it was a better option.. Reddit, YT, also discussed it in great length with my clan on discord. Decided to try it, and has been built in Curing ever since. Still curious how it compares to a Regen set tho
Have you tried pairing him with GodSeeker Aniri to increase the heals even more and revive on death if he happens to die during first nuke?
I have Vogoth in a Regen+Immortal set. This is an interesting build I may have to try.
I think i might have find a counter to Vogth in Arena, and it's no other than Venomage, AOE Heal reduction + 2 poisons, add another poisoner such as Tomb lord, and nuke all that with Zavia with her poison consumer, also block revive so it works very well against Duchess too, just need high ACC and 99% win rate i'd say, Vogoth isn't a problem anymore.
Finally someone caring about Vogoth again its been long enough! I own two of them on my first account but my 2nd account unfortunately has not been blessed with this champion yet!

@@Dudley421 Various reasons I ended up with 2 because I was stupid and I thought picking Elhain destroyed the account early on...both accounts are based on very important demons in my storyline...
People like to experiment make accounts with different strategies...and have back up accounts for CvC!
Both of my accounts are both FTP and insane...they are among the best in my clan..both ended up with not only 1 Kael but multiple Kaels something I could never have foreseen as a brand new player!
Kael as I learned later along with the rest of the starters are far less rare then the tagline "Rare" would lead you to believe!
Thanks for confirming my theory! I started collecting Curing gear a while ago to use for him. I stopped listening to everyone saying trash all Curing gear. Unfortunately, I’m still working on getting a good set.
I just have him in a full Acc set with HP% on every artifact plus HP on every accessorie almost at 100K health. Vogoth is still a beast man :)
Just pulled this guy in the 2x nice to see a guide, team optimizer has him used in a lot of comps, just account is fairly fresh so im like 10 years from having the gear for him.
I am in CO and we just got about 6 inches. We never expect it to be as much as they say. It was more.
had fun when i was much fresher in the game, did a vogoth with 4 ironclads, iron clads in freeze sets, fun times, it did work kinda

Ash, I have a question about Vogoth's Eerie Presence Passive - It says it applies to Provokes placed by this champion. I'm wonder if that means ONLY Provokes from his A2 (which only happens 75% of the time) , or would it also include the additional provokes that would occur if he had on PROVOKE GEAR? If those also count, I'm wondering if it might be worth putting him in a provoke set?
He is very good against multi hitters, like trunda/blender/ithos a2 (default nuke skill)/magnarr etcc. To minimize his effectiveness you need single hit nukers like rae so he heals only once
I've been using him in deflection and his primary role has been bommal tank. I use him in FK of course but that's all I've been using him in 🤷♂️ gonna give this a try and see if I can push up to gold 3. That's where I'm stuck on arbiter missions

I keep switching my vogoth between curing sets and provoke sets. Having a hard time seeing if more heals per round are better than bigger heals here and there
Good point about arena resist, all my resist comes from Great Hall ... I don't waste stats on it.

What about vogoth in the provoke set so would his a3 be 70+ the 30% from the set, so a 100%?
Vogoth is one of my Best champions on my account, provoke, decrease atk, increase enemy cooldowns, huge heals, and an ok amount of damage for a tank, I don't have any of the op legendaries(besides ninja)or the best epics

With guardian set he can also mitigate even more damage but you cant have both guardian and curring.
I was pulling shards for Prince Kymar and got Danag Skullreap, he has insane multipliers and a promising passive, waiting for the guide very soon. 👹

Can you do the CB version of this setup? Mine is currently in the Guardian Set and I was using him for NM and UNM bosses. Problem is he couldn't heal himself up very well so I swapped him for Ghrush.
Vogoth is useful for me because its hard for me to get the gear with high enough speed for my champions (Especially for High Khatun and Deacon) so he heals vs a lot of the heavy damage...but I could still build him better because he doesn't have the hp I want him to have currently!
How effective would a guardian set be on him? Taking the hits giving off more heals everytime someone is hit
Just pulled him this morning. I have Doompriest, Toragi, and Apothecary already though. Debating whether I want to invest in him right now.. I have Kalvalax that I'm focusing on at the moment. He's been huge for Clan boss for me.

Lol I just pulled this guy in the 2x event along with yanicka and gorgorab and frozen banshee, not bad for 60 blue shard pulls, my unread hordes faction will be op now as I already have harvest jack husk and catacomb councillor and well get dark athel in less than 2 weeks( although dark athletes is apparently no good) exciting times for me!!

My least used sets would be Dazed, Cursed, Fury, Curing, Avenging, and Toxic, but still I keep pieces of everything if the stats are good

So for the arena, all I really need to do is have a speed champion and a debuffer, one or two nukers, a cleanser, a shield champion and vogoth and I'm all set.... Problem is, I only have 4 slots.
i am curious why was scyl of drakes nerfed cuz when i was a noob like level 21, one scyl of drakes with 35k power outdid my full AoE team that had 45k power and slowly made sure my team suffered and when i finally got her i was like Damn... its nerf or nothing huh
and dont get me wrong she is still op, but i remember that player had drake in full ascension and was a five star not even close to being a six star at the time. and she kinda isnt good without solid defense and hp gear and i heard she was nerfed for the reason i said above is it true???
You should bring Eharbads, it's a F2Player that's been features in Hell Hades, it would make a great video!
You missplaced Magnar and Vogoth. You should try Vogoth in last place so he will take damage last and heal everyone after they had damage.

I’ve been using vogoth on my plat arena defence to get into the bottom of plat each week for a few months now, guardian set+immortal, he’s a beast for sure but I’m moving on from him now I think
I have been confused until now about curing set, do you put it on the healer or the one that needs healing... now I know it's the caster (no thanks to the tooltip)

I use Vogoth everywhere but i didn't think of using curing on him since i still think that curing is kinda trash/niche..
I was holding on to a handful of curing items for that one random case that would show up one day for over a year now. I sold it during the fragment even to make room in my storage XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD.

I didn't have ANY Curing gear, so I went (HP% and HP) Resilience and Divine Life instead.
I switched out my Trunda for Leorius because of void and unkillable and I win more battles because of this changeout

To get the most out of Vogoth, you wanna place him last in the order so he can heal once everyone's taken damage :-)
Hmm... but then some of the champions at the front could die before they receive the heal..?

I actually have curing on some of my healers. I could never understand why no one likes it. I have some good stuff in that set.

Fairly new player, 26 days into game and i really like it.. F2P and i have one question.. I'm level 41 now and have only Galek, my starter, on level 60.. Who should i 6 star next? My 5 star 50 lvl champs are Warmaiden, Shieldguard and Miscreated Monster.. Want to eventually farm doom tower sr 1 for Archmage..

Ash i have a question: how about curing set on champs like : Scyl, Raglin, Vrask?
I have my only good curing set on Vrask and it's def a good option. I think relentless is probably better but I don't have enough good relentless gear for Vrask to get a set over some of the other champs that's got them.
Curing set doesn't work with passive heals. It will be useless on Scyl.
I want Magnarr really badly but the game has yet to give me him but one day...one day they will give him him!
i was told it was better to put him right after the leader so he gets hit first in AOEs is that not true?
In terms of AOE, it’s better to place vogoth in the last or 3rd position to heal everyone that has taken damage before that champ. Duchess is better in 1st or 2nd position because her passive protects everyone that is hit after.
I don't know whether he's better in curing or guardian set. But I currently have him in guardian

What is the difference of curing and Regen set ?
Curing Increases the amount of healig you do by 20% while regen heals you by 15% of your healt

put vogoth with high resist and hp duchess, alongside with some other damage mitigators like ursuga and helior in your defensive team. noone will attack you or they will quit after trying to kill you for 5 mins.
I can beat them with single target nuker like rotos or shamael
