what about the need to "project specify" each asset you download from envato? is this true that you need to register and re-download assets on a PER PROJECT basis?
Yeah you create a name for each project and just select it when you download. The reason for this is that if there is ever a copyright claim made on any of the content that you download and use, you can just download the license file which then has the project name on it automatically. Yes you have to redownload an asset if you want to use it for another project. That is so the license can be updated and the creator of the asset gets paid accordingly by Envato.
That’s a huge plus for Storyblocks. My advice would be to decide based on what you think you need more. Easy access to Storyblocks stock in LumaFusion? But the yearly price was good especially with a creator code.
Thanks for your input Chad. As far as the best quality stock footage goes, I think the winner is definitely Artgrid. I am usually able to find what I'm looking for between Storyblocks and Envato, but the amount of value you get for the price with Envato can't be beat 😄
Hello Brad today I creating an author account in Envato. ia am expert to making music tracks and I want to sell music tracks but the proble that I am facing is Envato say “If you are specialised in Music Tracks and Sounds Effects, please note we are temporarily not accepting new authors. To express your interest for future opportunities, please proceed to the next step" so what can I do ?
That's a tough one. I would keep trying occasionally but also try other sites like Uppbeat, Artlist, Epidemic Sound etc. Try applying to as many as possible.
from egypt.. thanks bro
I visited Egypt in 2005. Amazing country! 🇪🇬 Thanks for watching 😄🙏🏼
Envato does not seem to have pre-animated characters, which Storyblocks does.
What kind of characters? Like 3D animated characters?
Excellent
Thank you! Cheers!
Is it ok to use envato elements video previews to create youtube videos? Will there be copyright claims if i used previews. Please reply. Thanks
Well the previews will be low res and watermarked. The previews are meant to be used for rough cuts, to get client approvals, etc before licensing the high res unwatermarked clips.
@@Brad_West ok. Thanks. But my question is will UA-cam give a copyright claim if used?
I don’t know. You’ll have to check their FAQs. I honestly don’t see why you would want to do that though?
你会被版权方起诉赔偿,牢底座穿
Its not 30 its actually 65 euros when you go to the paycheck you see that
But that's if you pay monthly instead of annually right? I always purchase licenses annually for the best price.
@Brad_West yes it's monthly you can go and check it out,I was shocked when I saw that
After the 7-day free trial, your selected payment method will be charged €46.80/month. if you do not pay for the year! not said in the review my friend
€46.80 doesn’t sound right because it’s supposed to be $33p/m if paid monthly and $16.50p/m if paid yearly.
@@Brad_West Phil is right, it's €46.80/month if you don't cough up a full year. Just saw it myself.
I wonder if they have different prices for Europe. Are you able to select $ as the currency to see if you get $33p/m?
@@Brad_West I'm in Europe, but there's no currency selector. Nevertheless, I'm signing up as we speak (monthly for now) as I still think it's a good price, speaking of which, here's a copy/paste from their checkout page: After the 7-day free trial, your selected payment method will be charged €47.19/month. (FYI: I'm using your affiliate link from the description) Furthermore, €14.50/month is excluding local tax and only if you go for the yearly plan. Thanks for the video.
@@janlamprecht9229 Thanks for the detailed explanation, that is helpful. It's interesting that the local tax isn't included already. I'm sure you are going to enjoy using it and that you'll see the value in it for your projects. Also, I truly appreciate the support 🙏🏼
Pretty good comparison video, but kind of a cheesy, clickbait title. After all, Envato is not free, only the trial is free. ☹️
Yeah it's a trial but you're able to use those assets in projects for those 7 days. Unfortunately Envato is doing away with their 7 day free trial soon.
Great comparison with a not so subtle lean toward Envato (wink). The guy dressed like a CPA pumping his fists into the air like he won the Super Bowl was cringe-worthy.
Yeah I still have both subscriptions (and I’ll probably keep both) but I do think that anyone looking for just one, would get better value for money with Envato. Some stock footage is notoriously cheesy 😆
well now envato is quite a bit more than storyblox. it changed i guess.
Yeah probably. This was posted nearly 2 years ago. 😄
Bull it's not free such a misleading thumbnail. Thumbs down, not coming back.
This is an old video, they have done away with the free trial.
