After listening to some blues the other night, I can easily recognize Kirk's blues influences from this moment in time and how it afected his songwriting.

How can you hate this shit? This is one of the grooviest riffs I've ever heard. Oh yeah, only one-sided thrash fans hate this just because this isn't thrash Metallica. Every band should branch out and experiment at some point in their career because that's a part of musical maturity. Otherwise, they'd eventually be criticized for basically making the same album every time.
Zimbokasa count me in as well. I love the Black album, and there is a lot of great stuff on the early albums as well, but Load/Reload are actually my favorite albums of theirs overall. Highly underrated.

This song is a monster...metal power groove blues..and the dynamics of this song is brutal in the interlude James and Kirk Trading solos....you can hear Kirk's guitar wah wah during the "I can't hear you part"...daym...this song it's just bad ass all around That you just want to beat up somebody up with a piece of wood...lol
