Mushrooms did wonders in my life. Over the course of my life, I've suffered from uncontrollable, depression, anxiety, alcohol, smoking, and illicit pills addiction. Imagine carving heavy chains for a long time and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. This is something that really needs to be used globally to help people with similar health challenges. Reminds me of the time I used to be a closing shift driver at pizza hut. Once right before we closed, I threw some ground bud into some of the Alfredo sauce since i heard THC is fat soluble and ran it through the oven and made some pasta. I kid you not, that was the strongest "edible" I've ever eaten lmao. Even stronger than some of the medicinal gummies and dispensary stuff I've tried haha

I make infused honey all the time. I combine gram for gram sunflower lecithin with decarbed concentrate (lecithin is an 'emulsifier' - suspends fats and oils: increases 'bioavailability') , then I mix it well in honey that I have heated in a water bath. My last batch: 1Tblsp = 100 mgs of decarbed THC. A tablespoon in boiling water with a few drops of food grade orange or lemon oil make a very soothing evening beverage. THC doesn't float to top: it's 'emulsified' throughout the beverage.
I skipped the lecithin for many bakes, but upon adding it every time nowadays it amplified the whole thing from cooking to consumption.
I always used soy lecithin myself, but I didn't know there were other options. I wonder what the flavor difference is? You, my friend, know what you're doing and I'm so happy to see it!

You can get a much higher potency infusion if you grind (more surface area) and then decarboxylate the MJ before infusing with the oil. Decarboxylation allows all of the THCa to convert to THC before infusion. But, it is possible that if using the oil for cooking afterwards that when you bake whatever you're making it will decarb then. I always made butter to top things like biscuits or put on food so I wanted it ready to use when it came out of the strainer. But, I can totally see decarb happening when baking and in that case you don't want to decarb before because heat converts THCa->THC->CBD (roughly). So, if you decarb twice you could be losing psychoactive potential. Depends on the purpose and intention of the process. There are probably a few heat+time charts floating around that show the optimal for both and every outcome.

Sooooo 👀 u would recommend grinding the weed before decarb? I’ve seen vids where ppl break up to small vids but then grind with their fingers once the decarb causes it to easily crumble. But sounds like you’re suggesting grinding before decarbing to bring out more potency?? 👀
That's why I love using Distillate in making edibles & infusing it's pretty much the fool proof way

I think technically it is a herb, just not one you cook with. Either way, the best way to get tastier and good use of cannabis is making it into a butter and rubbing it on the chicken. I’ve always wanted to try this but judging by comments I probably won’t.

Lamb can be eaten raw same as beef only the surface really has any germs on it but it’s fine if you clean it

They don't ever decarb there weed Wich means the thca isn't activated to thc it rlly makes me mad seeing them add fresh herb to oil and just "infusing" it lol some people say that the double boil will decarb the weed and then infuse it BUT it barley does.always thoroughly decarb the weed.

This was dumb, I might as well but a piece of chicken in my blunt and a dab of yogurt in my bowl. Same shit.
I grow so much of my own that I don't even bother weighing a dabs press for the weekly supply. I just reach into the jars of whichever of the 6 flavors on hand that I want, grab enough to make a ball, and press @ 180F. I grew Super silver haze, white widow, and Island sweet skunk this summer. Three huge trees, so I'll have poundage to pick through over the winter. I also grew a few auto flower Zkittles. That stuff produces rosin like crazy in the press. Also grew some citradelic, and that stuff is superb. I'll be 60 next month, retirement soon, and I'll really start growing some trees. Love the video..you guys have a great life. Hi, I loved your video but have a question. When you put the cannibis in with the coconut oil in a jar to go into hot water, did you decarboxylate the cannabis first? I didn't notice that part and have always been told you had to decarb it first (normally in an oven).
The water bath decarbs the cannabis. If it had been decarbed first you would only need to infuse it for about ten minutes.
Hey there, the cannabis needs heat in order to decarb so actually putting it in boiling water does the same job as putting it in the oven 👍🏼 hope that helps

@@judyfleming6269 you will get better results if you put it in the oven for 20 mins on gas mark 1-2, you can do it without the oven but it definetly works better if you do
@Judy Fleming coconut oil or ghee has a higher fat content and no water comes out much better. You can decarb it in a instapot 20 min in a Mason jar let cool add oil another 20 min and strain. I use a knee high as a bag and makes it easy to get all out just shake the jar tricomes melt quickly

we get it, you like weed - but you didn't have to molest a whole chicken.
I guess you could infuse the milk before doing the yogurt, that way most of the oil soluble compounds would be in the milk fat prior to draining the whey. This method allows to make psychoactive cheese too.

With shorter infusing decarbing would be necessary but for longer infusions not decarbing the bud would pass as the added time makes up for it
If they don't decarb then they are just wasting their weed... Been making edibles for years if you don't do it then you're wasting your time and your weed
Worth keeping in mind a lot of this is for making tasty food not necessarily food that'll get you super high. Decarbing weed will strip some of the sharpness of the flavour.
