  • Drilling with a Dewalt drill and Lenox holesaw bit. After 14 holes the bit was still really sharp. Worked great. Better then using my torch and having to clean up the holes. I could have pushed much harder while drilling and blasted through the holes much faster but I opted to drill slow with light pressure using lots of oil to keep the bit cool and lubricated.

Thank you for posting this! I really didn't want to buy an annular cutter, which is $$ and I'd use it once. I didn't think my hole cutter set could handle 1/4" steel. Obviously, it can easily!

What a coincidence, I'm trying to drill through my m35a2 frame, didn't expect to see a m35a2 in this video lol

Thank you for this, helped me decide on the drill, why did you choose DeWalt over the other brands?

I'm sorry for the extremely late reply. I am a carpenter by trade and Dewalt has always had the biggest selection of cordless tools for what I do so I've been on dewalts cordless system for almost 18 years. Once your invested in all the batteries and chargers it is just a matter of buying a bare tool when you need something new. Milwaukee and Makita also make great quality tools and there are a number of mid grade tools that will work great for homeowners.

@@NorthIdahoCarpenter I still really appreciate you commenting on the reply, thanks again.
I choose DeWalt myself, I like that it's trusted and yeah it's a couple dollars more expensive but I could feel the power.
Since I'm invested in DeWalt now, I'll be buying more of their products

@@therealrabby I own around 60 DeWalt 20v tools and use them daily. I've only ever burnt up one drill which was my own fault. I was drilling wood with a 4" holesaw on one of DeWalts "homeowner" grade drills. It was no where near up to the task and didn't last long.
