I remember this event very well, I lived in Las Vegas, 35 years and moving back to Michigan, my present home in 2005. We were riding our bikes to Laughlin, there were 7 or 8 of us when I heard about the ruckus on my radio, I summoned all the members of our group to pull over. No, we were not a club or anything of the sort, just week-enders, so to speak. We decided to go to Pahrump, Nevada instead and visit one of our friends who lived there, and we had a cook-out and partied there and keeping up with the news reports on the laughlin events. I'm glad we decided to keep away from laughlin that time, it's a good place to visit and spend a little bit of money. I just wanted to share that with everyone, nothing really exciting tho.

I was never in one because of their tendency to become outlaw groups. There was this one guy there who was claiming to be connected and for some reason he really liked me. He didnt have the patches or anything. I still think he was false flagging honestly. I declined to ride with him and he got mad saying I was an idiot for not wanting to be a prospect etc. There is an Akron chapter of HA but they are pretty insignifcant
In Australia 'colors' are banned. Wear colors or any insignia indicating membership of a bike gang and they go to jail. Tatts with bike insignia must not be seen in public. And there's lots of Australians who know this and who will call cops if they see colors or tatts to get those types under control. Most bike club members in Australia are foreign born, not native born Australian.

I want to personally thank the Angels and Mongols for providing us with so much entertainment in videos, books and movies about them. We are amused that they can be upset and violent over red and white flowers at a funeral, upset over the use of the word California on a jacket and intrigued that they would want to spend years in jail and waste their lives committing crime. I was there that night, my group went to Harrahs for dinner, we were parking our bikes in the garage when we saw a few HA's walking into the casino, we thought it strange because Harrahs was the Vago's hangout and everyone knew it, we went to the restaurant and saw a few more HA's, we ate and then decided to walk around and check it out. We continued to see more HA's and then decided somethings not right we better leave before shit hits the fan, so we did, we were in our hotel room when we started hearing sirens (alot of sirens) then helicopters. The next morning we discovered the strip area was on like a lockdown, you couldn't leave, so we watched it on the news. The Laughlin River Run was never the same after that☹
Just watched George Christie on Vladtv he said a cop told the Angels that they had a group surrounded so than they all went over there and that’s when everything happened.

They were so concerned, that staff failed to notice three under 21 people playing in the casino and winning a lot of money😂. Luckily, we left a couple hours before the fight happened. Got home in time to turn on the news and see this story at top of news.
I lived in Vegas and always had my police scanner on. Heard all the police traffic by Las Vegas Metro Police. Listened to the scanner all night and early morning until 7am. It was crazy.
i still live in the area these idiots still stink up the area swaggering around like the tuff guys they are not,they ruined a really good town for the locals the run has been over since this happened.sadly they did not recieve proper punishment because local law enforcement was terrified.
