You are very talented Mike and also informative! I really can’t understand why you do not get more hits to your channel. All your input is much appreciated! Take care!
Very nice I’ve the exact one as well one of my fathers old collection, I should look at giving it a service after watching this. Lovely looking locomotive
Mike, thanks for this video, I have a couple of locomotives of the same vintage. Never had the courage to take them apart. So this is great encouragement for me. Cheers and looking forward to the running video.
Lovely model. The old painted crew used to come as a separate part. You would think for the price of models these days they would include a crew. Particularly as they they really detail the cab these days. I like the mention of the V2's on loan. Same with the B1's, class 24's ,fairburn tanks, ivatt's etc. In fact its completely possible to model the southern region with out a single southern locomotive!
Hi mike I hope you are well? These are nice models and run fantastically in my opinion They are a great Gresley designed locos Thank you for sharing your model with us Keep safe arp
Great video. I have a number of mainline locomotives. Only one had axle problems. Got replacements from Peter's Spares. I think the Bachmann ones got square axles. Thanks for showing. Regards Paul.
Hi Mike, Beautiful Gresley V2 but I'm not a fan of Bachmann products. Labelle oils cost a fortune here in Fr. Thanks for sharing this service video. Cheers, Filip
Hi, it's very important not to use any kind of mineral oil on those models. Without seeing the details I can't comment. Hob-e-lube from Woodland scenics and the Labelle range are safe
Great video I personally love the V2. Fun story I use the same gear grease it works well, but it drys hard if you leave it out for some time Cheers Jasper & Willow

Sorry, you’ve probably been asked this many times, but I missed it. What database product do you use? We saw a bit of it in this video. Many thanks.
Hi Peter it's MS Access using a form and table I created
Bachmann's old boxes are much better than their present one's.
I agree there
Really nice locomotive…
Thanks Richard
Would fine grade bearing and gear oil be alright to use on the Bachmann split chassis engines as I have 5 Bachmann Jubilees, 5700 and a manor?
