I can’t believe how well behaved the dogs are in that canoe! I had a big chocolate lab German pointer for 15 years and there’s no way we could ever be in a canoe. It always had to be an aluminum fishing boat because otherwise she’d have flipped us. 😂 She couldn’t sit down for two seconds. she was always on high alert lol. Loved her though.
Those are otters, not mink. I've paddled those lakes. Beautiful trip. Love the tent. I could never do the trip alone. No fear.....just too many things to do and see that I would want to share with others.
Yes they could very well be otters I didn’t get an up close view of them. However mink are in the area for sure. There were mink farms in the area till 2007 and mink was one of the highest trading pelts in the 1940s. Tripping with people may not always work as when I want to go, I go 😉. I do love this area and have paddled here, specially on this circuit, many times as well. Thanks for watching.
Snowtrekker tents. Dimensions on their website. Sorry no, it’s not lightweight as it’s made out of canvas. However it’s not bad when you don’t have to carry it far.
Hi Priscilla, Have you been in to the Jackson Kinnaird bridge this year (June 2023)? Just wondering if it's passable? Rumor is that water is very low and it's muddy swamp on the Kinnaird side??

👋🏻 Thanks, you too. Enjoy.
P.S what model tent is that? Is it a flip up type tent or do you have to put polls in and anchor it down?
It is a Snowtrekker tent. Canvas tent and poles.
Hi Pracila what lake are you on I am trying to figure it out but no luck
