Fellas, we don’t even have to say anything. We already know what happens when a man merely suggests that women are capable of having misandrist views. Gaslit at best, or seen as a perpetrator/misogynist at most.

I've been called a misogynist for pointing out that it's impolite to ask a woman's age or weight. Just the mere act of pointing out that there is this small benefit to being a woman is misogynistic, apparently. You must uphold the narrative that being a woman is harder than being a man.

Fun fact, misandry is far more occurring than misogyny, yet woman and blue hair soy boys are complaining more about misogynist behavior.

When I was a teen, my father signed me and my younger brother up to train in tennis with a coach who already had a class of about a dozen others. They were all women who were training with him for a while, and we were signed up just days before the coach holds a tournament. My brother was chubby. I was scrawny with little/no muscle. Neither of us were athletic, neither of us liked tennis, neither of us wanted to be there. The women were all in their mid to late 20's.
I came out first place, my brother came out 2nd place - both of us were an enormous margin above the women (leading by 17 and 14 points respectively).

    • @jaidev777
      @jaidev777 Рік тому +6

I should also add this detail: whenever it was my and my brother's turns to practice either against each other or against two others... I would notice what seemed really bizarre to me at the time: the ladies would be sitting all weirdly close together to the coach, huddled to him, and he and they would be playfully chatting with one another. Not joking. It was like they were competing for who could be physically close enough to him that they'd practically be in his lap, and he was not going to complain. It felt really weird because of the whole nature of that dynamic, and how it made me and my brother feel excluded from any sort of camaraderie. Like they created their own club of all adult females and one adult male: the athletic coach himself.
No wonder they lost at playing tennis itself, because they were busy fawning over the coach instead. And it _worked._ He *was* participating in it with them He was spending more time buttering them up instead of teaching how to play better. And though my brother and I won - it was like he and the ladies were pretty unenthused about it and just wanted to get back to the flirting. We won at tennis, but they won at just having his favoritism overall which could affect winning at anything. Including the game of tennis, in which case they made it such that _it did not matter anymore._
Maybe that tells a bigger picture story than just simply why female athletes generally can't compete with male athletes. Rather, it might be about *how* they deal with male competitors (or any competitors really). Such as, just bypassing the rules and opting to garner social favoritism (intentionally or not - might just be their natural strategy), whether from the public in general, or with target individuals who are supposed to be the neutral party in charge. It's really interesting now that I look back at it.

    • @Udontknowmi
      @Udontknowmi 10 місяців тому

It's common sense. It's no surprise. Men are stronger than women. That's a biological fact. You know what else is a biological fact? Only women can give birth. Another biological fact: a lot of predators, whether male or female, are stronger than human males. A untrained male couch potato with no weapons will be mauled by an angry female lion.
I don't see why it should be humiliating that female athletes can't compete against men. That's exactly why they have their own competitions as long as someone will watch it. Even in male sports, we tend to separate categories by weight class, if there's enough demand. If there's no demand, we don't give chances to the weaker ones at all. You'll almost never see a short basketball player in the NBA. At the end of the day, sports is also about luck and privilege, as much as it is about talent and training. It's a lie that people can be whoever they want. Only first world kids are fed that crap.
We should just to our best to respect each other despite our differences. That's what a lot of extreme feminists and male rights advocates tend to forget.

A Google search can also reveal WHY these things are more likely to be true? Did we all forget about genetics and how habits will shape a person? If someone’s bloodline is full of people who worked out a lot, they are going to have the genetic potential to do strong things; same as the opposite. If someone’s bloodline is full of leisure, ofc they will have a harder time (or impossible) meeting up to the other person’s standards.
    It’s real simple.

I once called out a woman at work for a misandrist statement and had to fear she’s reporting me to HR for misogyny because I was not confirming her in her belief. Just to be clear, as long as we men can‘t even have a term for the hatred we receive just for being a men, how can there ever be equality? But those who fight for equality are predominantly doing so from the woman‘s perspective and man-rights advocates are being defamed left right and centre as just being misogynistic

At the family Fourth of July party this year I, a 5'10 32 year old woman in good physical condition arm wrestled with a 5'10 13 year old neighbor boy who plays sports. He and I weigh about the same and are about the same size. I beat him at arm wrestling, barely. It took everything I had to beat a thirteen-year-old boy at arm wrestling. I know that there are women out there that are stronger than I am, but there are also thirteen-year-old boys out there that are stronger than he is. We are both fairly average for what we are. That tells me that I am about as strong as the average healthy 13 year old boy. I'd say that I am a bit stronger than the average 32 year old woman, but for the benefit of the argument let's say that I'm average. This really put into perspective for me how much stronger men are than women. Because compared to men, women are the equivalent of 13 year old boys.

I forgot its not far from social media.
Creators there are totally human with their own agenda.
Buzz words, and other SEO metrics like any other social media.
Some weird popularity contest but for content and websites
And the ones that rank high in those metrics by the algorithm are what we see.
Particularly click bait images that tend to have had more clicks.
AI is structured around human way of thinking and we humans tend to give more credibility to popular people and ideas. Widespread rumors etc
Building a truth seeking algorithm is almost impossible since the input has to be humans. And an AI is only as useful as the data it's trained on.
Since it's a free for all anybody can learn to manipulate the data from his end and work their way up the ranks
Controversial topics also go out the roof due to engagement.
This is the best we have for now Algorithms based on social proof(opens, views, clicks and followers) trends and popularity.
I doubt it's a planned effort of some elite group😅

It's like saying, "why is there not enough white recognition?!" Dude, YOUR people weren't enslaved and discriminated against for hundreds of years. Of course white people shouldn't be ostracized on that basis, but the question itself usually is in bad faith. The same applies to this one.

You genuinely don't need to prove common knowledge within an argument. But if you need specific examples: throughout all cultures, and all societies, women were treated practically as inferior citizens, and had less rights.
For example, they were often legally property, and were given off to men by the whims of their parents. Their education was neglected. For the most part, women had no power, and could not vote autonomously (when there was a democratic system.)
Women were often the target of wars and raids. Again, taken as property. The punishments against them were horrific. If mansplaining and misogyny is bad today, it was god awful years ago.
In an intersectional scale, women, and especially of women of color in America, are at the lowest. Throughout history this was generally the same (colored only became genuinely problematic during specific slave trades, colonization, and their centuries of effects.)
Is that enough for you? Now, prove how they weren't oppressed for the past 12,000 years.

Misogyny is the normalization of boys joking about their friends mom an insult, males using women as comparison to something inferior and bad when saying “stop crying like a girl” or “man up” and other terms that compare males to women when they aren’t performing “normal” male gender roles. Misogyny gives males a false sense of importance over women and make them feel entitled, which can be dangerous because when they feel a woman isn’t doing what they want those males get violent.

      Pain tolerance: women
      Flexibility: women
Tolerance to disease and infection: women
      Life expectancy: women

But like I stated and as you pointed out, using the standard definition of “strong”: having or marked by great physical power, striking or superior of its kind, or effective or efficient especially in a specified direction… according to Merriam Webster. The obvious answer is that men are on average physically stronger than women on average. However physical strength is not the only metric on which “strength” is measured. So yeah I agree with you technically but honestly the debate about this and many other similar issues seems rather silly and pointless imo. I mean we all know that when people state things like this, that men are stronger, they are measuring or referring to physical strength.
