I like it. Straight to the point, no added talk, just the facts on how to do this. Thank you.
Man I like how fast you teach, so clear and effective. Not too much extra talking like some of the other time consuming videos. I will be watching all.

STRAIGHT TO THE POINT! definitely helped.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Your videos are greatly appreciated. Preparing for TEAS to take this November.
Wow and I’m 35 and I finally understand the order of operation when it comes to multiple/division, I always would multiply first no matter what
these videos are so helpful. I'm returning to school for a second degree in nursing and its been decades since I've done math. This is truly helping me relearn it!
This is so great. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge in such a clear and easy to understand way! This is amazing 😁 thank you thank you thank you!
Thanks Amanda. I'm glad you find the tutorials helpful. Make sure to check out www.bcraftmath.com/atiteas for even more tutorials.
Your videos are so helpful! Thank you for preparing students for the TEAS test!
Thanks for dropping a line. Glad the tuts help!
This was so helpful!! Thank you I clearly understood it this way
I'm so happy I found you!!
You are a blessing. God bless you! I think my math teacher in high school taught PEMDAS wrong which is why there are so many conflicting answers with ppl.. smh
You are truly awesome I know I'm going to do great on my teas test.
Amen.
Your a life saver thank you 🙏🏻
You're welcome! Glad it helped. 👊
You are the best honestly truly I really appreciate this
Thanks Kimberly. I appreciate the comment. Glad the tuts help.
GOD BLESS YOU, YOU ARE GOD SENT !!!
Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad the tutorial helped. Make sure to check out www.bcraftmath.com for more ATI TEAS Math stuff.
Amazing stuff
Wow! I'm one of those students that would use MD and AS in order, not left from right!!
That is a very common misconception with PEMDAS.
Your Awesome.... Thanks 😊
You are the greatest
YOU SIR ARE A LIFE SAVER!!!
Thanks! Glad the tutorial helped!
Thank you
Marcia Jacobs
Thank you so much
You bet! Glad it helped.
Love his video
👍👊
I passed the teas because of you hands down thank you!
Good stuff! Congrats and thanks for sharing! :)
Tj Huddleston congratulations will be doing mine Saturday, my friend did it and she passed because she watched this channel and recommend me to watch it too👍👍👍
Sharon Mori i would suggest to go watch some of the science videos or make sure you look over that section because it’s rough
Tj Huddleston oooh yes been told so too, do you have any ideas of some good science videos, been reading doing flash cards and just finished my anatomy class 2 days ago, so if you got any suggestive videos let me know thanks
Sharon Mori not that I have found I watched about 3 hours worth of science videos on here and took notes and ZERO of it was on the test
On Page 67 on the ATI TEAS study manual (sixth edition) it states that "The E for exponents will not be required: for the test. So I am assuming that the order of operation problems on the test will not have exponents on them.
Thank you for providing the series, I know till help me as well as a lot of other students. :)
I remember having this conversation with a group of students. I teach TEAS Review classes locally and here is what I've told every group. Order of operations includes exponents so I discourage not preparing for this. There have been instances before where a study guide mentioned that something would not be on the test, when it fact it did appear. With that said, I recommend studying exponents in this section. I'm glad the tutorials are helping you. Make sure to check out idomath.weebly.com for more math stuff. I have a TEAS page there. You can find a direct link the description of any of my videos.
That is very understandable. Thank you for the advice. With that being said, since the order of operations is "with rational numbers" would it hurt to practice PEMDAS problems with decimals and fractions? I have been doing so this morning. Thanks for all that you do!
It definitely wouldn't hurt to work some decimals and fractions into the order of operations as well. You will have some decimals and fractions on the TEAS. As to whether they will be heavily integrated into order of operations is another question though. From what I've experienced with the TEAS courses and getting feedback from students, the fractions and decimals are used in word problems.
Thank you!
You're welcome. Glad it helped!
I know that they changed/revised version 6 - do these problems apply to the newer edition??
Hello Victoria. All of my TEAS math videos are based on the the newest TEAS 6. Check out my website for more TEAS Math stuff. The links are in the description of any of my videos. Thanks!
God bless you
Do the same rules apply for the New Teas coming in June 2022 Professor BC?
Have you taken the TEAS yourself ?
Order of operations applies to ALL math... TEAS, college math, arithmetic... everything math related. About the TEAS 7... the math topics are pretty much identical, with a few minor differences. I'm actually going to discuss this in an upcoming Live Session in my facebook group. Join the group here: facebook.com/groups/teasmathbcraftmath/
I suck at math! Wish you luck everyone
Practice is key. Stick with it and things will be better.
Thank you :)
Taking my teas September 3rd can you use the calculator the whole time for math?
Correct. Good luck!
Where can I find practice questions where I can do them on my own and test myself?
Check this free sample out: www.flexiquiz.com/SC/N/teasSampleReview
Where have you been all my life
Eastern North Carolina. 😁
What do you do when there’s another type of parentheses } ) or both
Parenthesis and brackets are essentially the same thing. It's just a way to help you see which one matches with which. One is not more important than the other.
Hi will you be going over the teas 7 as well?
This content STILL applies to TEAS 7. You will still see students comment on a regular basis, even in these older videos, about how they still helped them crush the TEAS 7. Make sure you check out my TEAS math website too. www.bcraftmath.com/atiteas
@@bcraftmath will do thanks
I still don’t understand why we would subtract before adding when PEMDAS is in that order . Or maybe that’s my problem .. looking at PEMDAS & thinking it’s in that order ..
You don't always add before subtracting. It is whichever comes first from left to right. Always.
I am confuse how you got the answer for 5+36 divide 2 times 3 -4.Multiplication comes first and then division? Isn't the answer 7. Just wondering.
Watch this part: 0:40
Di=o you use order of operations on every math problem that has a set of equations?
Always use order of operations... PERIOD.
Brandon Craft Whoa That Explains It...Earned Me Extra Points On My Test 😂
SimpleyyJerly 👊
Great News! I Passed My Teas Test And Math Was One Of The Subjects I Scored High On All Because Of You. You Are Really God Sent. Saved Me Time, MONEY, and Tears....THANK YOU BRANDON KRAFT!!!!!
Awesome! I'm so glad to hear that the videos helped you. Good look with the next steps in your education. I'm doing a medical dosage series, which I'm fairly certain will help you in the next level of nursing courses.
I divide 48 by 8 got 6 then 9x6=54-13=41 so was that wrong by doing that way
Naomi Knox which problem are you referring to?
9x48/8-13 I didn't do the 9x48 instead I did 9x6 which give me 54 then I subtracted 13 which give me 41
The way you did it is fine.
Just be careful with problems like this:
18/3*2 = 12 but some people will argue that it is 3 because they think they should multiply before dividing. However, since division comes first, 18/3 = 6 and then you multiply by 2 to get 12. Hope that helps.
Does this work on teas 7 too?
Absolutely. 😊
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
It’s a big debate on the Facebook teas group. Half of the group is saying 16 the other 1. Can you help us out? I know the answer but we need a professional to handle this if you can?
8 ÷ 2(2+2) =
16 for sure..... Check this out: ua-cam.com/video/bnD3bxlLZGU/v-deo.html
Brandon Craft Thank you for clarifying
I get confused when it says Multiply and divede left to right and Add and sub left to right
What are some examples that you keep getting incorrect. I can clarify more if you provide those...
On the last problem you did 16-(24-4)x3+19 towards the last step you had 16-60+19 you subtrated first then added .. PEMDAS has A +before S - .. That were I got comfused when you say you add and subtract from left to right and multiply and divide from left to right that step confuses me
@@brenda830 You add and subtract from left to right (whichever comes first).... Just like we read from left to right... you add and subtract from left to right.
Thank you for taking the time to reply I understand now you are so awesome.
omg...I made that mistake multiplying 3 and 2 first :(
Very common. Glad this video helped clear that up for ya.
@@bcraftmath can you please clarify why you don't multiply 3×2 first I'm confused?
@@ynwmellyedite2464 which part of the video... Tag the time please. 👍
