Pin position comes to the manual of arms ergos, where Soviet has arms come in and it's tossed underhand or backhand (not always depicted right, not as natural) while NATO follows US with a wind-up and overhand toss (going back to the baseball study). With the pin on the right it would be easier to pull how you'd throw an M67 if you're left handed. Flip the grenade upside down with the spoon facing in towards your palm of your right hand. Should make pulling the pin less awkward, other than the mentioned flaw.

It's because the Todorov family who own the Arsenal corporation are genetically all left-handed. That's why they keep making weapons designed for lefties, like this grenade and AKs. Fake fact.
Stupid question from someone with zero military experience: why not hold it rotated slightly, so that the spoon goes towards the middle knuckles of fingers instead of palm? Is that a general safety issue? Would it be more dangerous/difficult to throw?
Orient it to hold the spoon with the fingers rather than the palm/web of the hand? Then the ring is facing the left hand. Or is that frowned upon? Idk.
Ok, question - how do you deal with these semi-activated grenades? Do you throw one more to detonate it or what? I mean - with pin out and spoon being kept in place with a slight bent it can go off from sneezing in the wrong direction, no?
If the ring is on the wrong side just hold it upside down. It's how they train us to throw M67s left handed.
Same with the old Swedish Shgr m/56

Not tested very much..dangerous flaws 😮
thxs men for the video
With the pin on the right it would be easier to pull how you'd throw an M67 if you're left handed. Flip the grenade upside down with the spoon facing in towards your palm of your right hand. Should make pulling the pin less awkward, other than the mentioned flaw.
honnestly its smart they just use regular food cans for the triggers
its cheap the machines are affordable and its totally enough
These videos rock
Stay save
Despite the pin issues, it seems to be a half decent grenade at close distances.
hey val what are those black/grene gloves you are wearing in the last granade throwing clip i had those years ago but cant find them anywhere and those were the best gloves i ever used.
stay save my man greetings from germany!
These are Wiley X nomex gloves, but Bundeswehr nomex gloves looks the same, thank you for watching!
That flaw is terrifying
Wise man say: “The spoon is too big”
Valgear clears the dugout with Saiga 12K
Some "flaw" ... something that doesn't kill the enemy but can kill you ... Are you sure the manufacturer doesn't work for the other side ...
that has happened to the thermobaric grenade video?
Hello, my description of the thermobaric effect in this specific type wasn't explained accurately, as one acctual explosive expert pointed out in the comments, so I need to redo that part and post it again, it's a small detail, but since chanell is mainly source of information, I can't have mistake like this, especially when it's the only English video on the subject, thank you for watching!
@@valgear5525 Ok, thanks a lot for the quick info. Thanks for your hard work!
Your grenades are expired.
If you want to know if its still good, you can put your frags in a bowl of water to see if they float.
Is that a saiga in the beginning of the video? I hope that, so we can get a review from it.
Stay safe!
That’s a leftie grenade. As a left handed thrower I’d find that quite handy but that’s only like 10% of the population
It is more dangerous. The spoon is your friend and as long as it is secures, you're safe. Spoon agains your palm and you hold on the granade.
2 videos in one week wow
imagine being in a trench and you die because you cant find a can opener
Do they train holding the spoon with the fingers instead of into the palm perhaps?
Wonder what the British Mills bombe was like !
