Did you have to learn to pack a chute during this course to get your class A license? I have watched a bunch of peoples videos on their process through a AFF course and no one shows or says they were made to pack a chute and be able to pack a chute unassisted at some point to get class A license,but I’ve seen some that mention it and take a written test. I’ve seen an example class A license application form and it’s on there to be checked off on and date it was done . Is this an old process not done anymore or what so confused because this video as welll as others just shows completing jumps and performing actions during jumps and at end of jumps gets a class A license…. Just trying to get a solid answer as to what is required to get the class A????

Yes, you have to take a packing class and pack a pack a parachute before you're licensed. -licensed jumper
