Thank you, Dr. Perlmuter! I read grain brain 5 years and it changed my life! I am a double brain stroke survivor, and because I applied your recomendations and decided to further study about this way of eating, i not only have extended my life but I have better quality of life. All against medical advise... Again, thank you! Sr. knokes is my heroe!
Very grateful for your work and the work of Tim Noakes. Hoping that I am able to reverse the dietary sins of the past. I now know better and do better. Thank you 🙏
Such a good interview with two men and scientists who really know their topic and who are speaking with clarity, insight, and passion. Now, if only the medical industry would listen to them. From a proud Saffa; go Boet! Our own Prof. Noakes
That was awesome, Your world is turning my world upside down. I am 64, Hashimotos disease 8 years after getting sober at 39,and becoming a fitness enthusiast, and starting eating plenty of whole grains because of conventional norms for athletes and human longevity. At 63, diagnosed with thrombocytopenia, two autoimmune diseases. I do not hope this change will work, I am fully in belief. I also take a Redox Biochemistry product, cell signaling. Last year, I stopped it because I was scared, and it gave me second thoughts on using it. Even though it is native to every living organism with cells. I always wondered why I could not lose the extra 20 lbs. With my physically demanding job and fitness, I burn about 4 to 5 thousand calories a day. I enjoyed the segment of the doctor talking about the brain and memory. I believe I fall into that category, I have always been told I have a great memory. I often think that my side hustle, in which I am shunned by many at my warehouse occupation, and wonder why I am involved in this, what is different about me than my peers. I quote from the book as a man thinkith, " The Dreamers are the saviors of the world." Mankind moves ahead because of men like you two chaps.
Im loving being on a low carb diet. It has made it so easy to loose weight along with intermittant fasting, and I rarely get hungry anymore (except after eating carbs!).
You two brave knights are amazing! It takes love to do the courageous fight you enter into! I applaud you, that is the science we want - intertwined with compassion and heroism, Thank you for making my day filled with hope in humanity and further development' - if there are men like you both, I preserve my drive!!!
Thanks for such a stimulating discussion. Re photographic memory: Arthur Rubinstein was one of the foremost concert pianists of the last century: he had a photographic memory: he said that when he was playing, he saw the pages of the score in his mind. And he was a musician of supreme creativity!
Super information as always Dr. Perlmutter. As a new Integrative Health Coach your podcasts are so informative and it really gives me more knowledge in the quest to help people get healthier
I’ve never had it so easy to manage my weight since switching to a high fat low carbohydrate, no sugar diet it’s virtually automatic to manage my weight loss I go to the gym but I get to eat amazing meat and eggs and other real food and I feel great
Thanks for the remarks about photographic memory! When I was getting my degree in engineering I occasionally tried to discuss concepts philosophically, and was accused of being stupid. I just couldn't advance in my studies sometimes until I was sure. These guys just believed it and of course had much less problems with their studies. Finished up as a self-employed landscape gardener which of course led to more frustrations but I could, occasionally, get rid of certain customers.
Thankyou Prof Noakes! your work is Inspirational, this saga reminds we of the historical error the medical fraternity made with Hungarian Dr. Ignaz Semmelweis, Bless both of you!
Hi from South Afrika. Thank you both for what you are doing. I have the privilege of interviewing Prof Noakes this coming Thursday. I would love to get in touch with Dr Perlmutter for an interview as well. I am slowly reading your book. (I'm dyslexic so it takes time)
Realy great dyslexic people are very talented you just learn a little diferently,,,,and when you find you're good spot ie talent it will be,, you're happy place, you will be whatever you want to be,,,
Hi to both dr,s I think my cancer is caused from to much sugar and high carb diet,,,so I think I have insulin resistance, also and borderline diabetes but never had it picked up now they say cancer is not only caused by genetics it's also caused by metabolic syndrome arnt these all linked
That is the book I can't wait for, A Diet of Lies! The Word needs that desperately and I think we actually need it like yesterday. Between Ancil Keys, the seven day adventists and big food, and pharma, I haven't yet decided who has done the most damage to the world's health.
Hello Dr. Perlmutter. I'm a subscriber and was looking forward to your video about pesticides and autism, but see that you took it down. Was that your decision, and if so, what are your reasons? If not, where did the pressure come from? Thank you.
Hi carbs are fine if there from small potatoes, nuts and seeds, broccoli, berries etc. Fruits and veggies some healthy fish and 2x or so times a week grass fed beef. Processed food and fast food coupled with excessive eating and no exercise is what is killing people fat.
My son has a enlarged pancreas. I’m giving him your enzymes. They are plant . They are helping. What do u think about him eating fats and red meat? We don’t know why it’s enlarged. Please help him 🙏🙏🙏
I’m currently down to 30g net carbs and 30g fibre. I rinse and soak and re-rinse more than I used to. Grow my own, ferment, sprout. Much easier on a low carb diet. No room for chickens and goats unfortunately. lol Might take up more hunting and fishing but meanwhile shop very local, small farms. I keep corporations out of my life as much as I can. Those fuckers will kill ya. ;-)
They …….! Know the high carb diet makers us sick…….! but they also know they’ll make money if they Can give us treatments it’s a win-win For the food industry and the pharmaceutical industry. 🤷🏼♂️
Most Dietitians need to keep their options to them selvs as they know very little about nutrition except what the prossessed food companies and pharma want them to push as most nutrition education is funded by them.
...he has only been proven correct time and time again, even in court. He also happens so to be an A1 rated scientist which is quite an achievement. ...and who are you ? I highly doubt you are anywhere as qualified and accomplished and feted as he is in his field of expertise.

Its a scam
Hanging on both your lips and passion for life....and for real food, thanks immensely
theres no greater miracle than when a man admits he was wrong
I love following Dr Noakes. He has a long history in my former country. I left South Africa for the sake of my children's safety.
Me too.

What a great comment. Fully agree with you. Two giants who are excellent scientists and care deeply about their integrity and patients.
Thank you for interviewing this wonderful Human Being!. People like you help us have hope in humanity. Blessings

Dr. Eric Westman is a good soul. He tells the truth.
Wonderful interview! Thanks, Dr. Perlmutter! 🙂🙏
Thanks for watching
THANK YOU DR NOAKES.
THE *CHEAPEST*FOOD, BREAD, IS THE MOST UNHEALTHIEST OF ALL.
UNFORTUNATELY THE MASSES PRACTICALLY LIVE ON THIS

Sugar in all its forms is most certainly the fuel that cancer needs to grow. This has been known since the 40's...
Fantastic interview,
Thank you
Thanks for watching!
This “diet” has changed my life!
Fir the better 😂
Thank you, both!
Two brilliant men, thank you for all what you do. Any tips how to convert my son’s 👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I have the Real Meal Revolution -changed the way my children and grandchildren think about food.
Brilliant conversation!
One day of doing away with bread and porridge, im feeling better no longer weak and dizzylike. 2023 . 07 . 05 . Im diabetic 2.
What was done to Prof. Tim Noakes was a malicious act. I am so glad he not only won the court case but in fact educated those pompous asses.
Trial for this man make his life difficult then how do they pay the bad use of the system?
Thank you for another great interview! 🙏
Brilliant.

Try it and see. Not for me but I do like some of the recipes. I just add some spuds. Same as if its a vegan recipe I will just add some chicken.
audio is so bad this is useless.
Use ear bugs or bluetooth.
Go to hospital to check your ears
Get your hearing checked seriously
Totally clear to me in my earbuds
Tim is fine then the other guy is less so but I just adjust the volume for each speaker. Not too difficult 😊
Dr. Tim Noakes the quack 😂
