Hello Rene from the UK!🇬🇧 I’m a fairly new colourist and I found your wonderful series this week. I’ve binge watched and have just received my book and will be getting my pencils by Sunday. I just want to express my gratitude and say how absolutely perfect these videos are. I have tried lots of others but yours just make absolute sense to me, I’ve learned so much and just want to catch up with colouring the pictures myself. I hope this series will run for a very long time? 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 Thank you, thank you, thank you! 😍👏👏👏👏😍
Thank you so much for your wonderful word of encouragement I am so happy they are helpful and easy to understand I do ramble sometimes as my brain goes off on tangents lol I am continually learning so I will continue to share what I have learned along the way till i dont learn any more .... pssttt that might never happen 🫣🤫🤫😊😊
Goo Morning! Thanks for a most enjoyable lesson (and my white pens--I do have a selection---NEVER work when I need them!!) You would laugh if you watched me taking your lesson--I am seated at my Computer with my wooden board to color the page and the Colorya pencils behind me on my bed. Every time you choose a new color--everything stops! (I never seem to find the pencils ahead of time!) I put down my board and book and frantically look for the new color. I can't tell you how many times I stop the lesson because I color so darn slowly! (I was trying so hard not to press down too hard and destroy the tooth in the paper--I think I succeeded about 50 %-`I will keep practicing on the rest pf the picture!! ) Thanks again for a very fun lesson on the 'high seas' with Matchbook Mouse!! By the way--have you seen the very cute "Spooky" coloring book, by artist Sara Szewczyk, which I learned about on 'Shel's Colouring Journey"? I bought it, and Spooky' is a black cat and has some great and amusing animal and sea friends, who sit in glass jars. All the 'jars' might be good for learning about reflection--I did one picture of a frog in a jar, eating a fly sandwich!!-- but can''t post my pix yet--need to get something to upload them. Anyway, just a suggestion. Thanks again for a fun lesson! Lynn in NYC❤
Awesome I am glad that you are having fun with the episodes you can upload your pages to IG and FB with your cell phone ...I have not seen that book but will look into it thank you 😊😊❤❤
@@MyColouringCornerwithRene Would you believe that "Luddite" that I am, I don't HAVE a cell phone!! (Or a working camera!) My computer friend Leon says he can teach me how to upload through my new printer. But until he can come over to show me, I get to enjoy everyone else's pictures--but cannot post my own. I started to color in late August--so I have now got 3 binders full of my 'efforts'!! LOL! ❤
Thanks.! There is also a book by Hristina Bashevski called "Magic Jars" by Colouring Heaven--but I haven't seen it. Just saw a jar that was colored on 'Coloring Bliss'.🥰
Hi, Rene, I'm watching first--then coloring, so that I can better follow what you say! (For some reason, today, is the first lesson that I can hear you loud and clear and don't have to depend on subtitles! Is the microphone 'louder' today? At any rate, it's just perfect sound for me! LOL!) And you're dealing with a topic that just yesterday I had to make decisions on! In my coloring book on frogs---Mr. Frog, sitting at his easel, painting a Water Lily, had to choose how to color the water around it. I'll now find out from you if he (I) got the shadows right! Okay, I'm going to just sit and listen. I don't have Brufingers (?) pencils----I have Prisma, Polychromos and the Colorya. Which would be closest for me to use, when we move on? Thanks!Lynn in NYC
