- This old Jewelry Box Armoire needs a bit of a DIY makeover! This piece of furniture is getting the royal treatment since I am painting it with Junk Monkey Paint in an elegant blue (Liberty Blue) and gold inspired by Beauty and the Beast :) I will never own enough jewelry to need a box this large though!!

You should paint it white the next three bucks all white and then use snowflake use a white iridescent on the jewelry box you know that the pieces that around where you put the gold on the first one put that iridescent and put it on the handles it is absolutely stunning

Yes! Absolutely! Completely captures The Beast’s coat! Gorgeous! If I had a jewelry armoire like that, I would do the body in a pale blush, add lace stencils all over the drawers in white and do extravagant florals on the sides. Hardware in silver or champagne. Maybe white wax to bring out details around the hardware and along the edges and the fluting. Maybe I’ll look for one of those to do myself since all of that just came out as I was typing this!😄 You created a beautiful piece!🌸

Love the Beauty and the Beast vibes. I chucked when you said you couldn’t imagine anyone owning enough jewelry to need one that large, as I look at mine that is a tad bigger than yours. And it’s completely full, so I have 3 smaller ones around too! Sad. I know, I know. Working on that! Hehe 😂. Someone is going to LOVE this. I have seen many painted, as I have considered painting mine myself. But they are usually too feminine for me. This was perfect!! So BRAVO 👏! Maybe one with transfers for your next one? Just and idea.
I had transfers kicking around in the back of my head too! But I cant decide if it would be cool to do something really bold like a bright yellow with a matching transfer or if I should keep it tame and go with neutral or pastels 😁 so many decisions

I would love to see the other done in a "Pretty in Pink" theme with very pastel pink like precious pink and then silver accent. Or a Pearl white and silver. Just a thought this one was reminding me of Gaston..lol

Yes, I did but left the mirror frame part wood.
How is your cruise ticket coming along?
I’ve got them bought! I just need to get enough to pay for the plane ticket for my babysitter(grandma) to fly in to babysit while I’m gone 😁 I have enough inventory to pay it all just need to find people to buy it!
