This video is a top 10 tarot decks of my tarot collection that are underrated in my opinion🤐 All the tarot decks in this video are some of the best mass market tarot decks in my opinion & they are the best tarot decks underrated in my tarot collection. I decided to film this because I don't see these affordable tarot decks being shown a lot on social media & thought they deserved their time of glory🥳 They might be a bit older, or just have gone under the radar but overall they are all great tarot decks. Consider these my underdog, hidden gems best tarot decks that you can easily find in your local bookshop or online retailers. I give you a show and tell & a review of each of my top underrated tarot decks & give you a glimpse into some of my favorite tarot decks in my tarot collection, the hidden gems edition😉. Ok, fine. You talked me into the Gaian Tarot. I didn't realize the same artist did Gaian and Herbcrafter!
I noticed similarities between the two decks immediately. They look as though they would work great together in a reading as well!

I bought the Ancestral Path tarot back in 1996. It was smaller, and had borders. The titles were underneath the images which I prefer, however it’s good to see the larger images. I also have Julia’s Maat, Blue Moon and Egyptian decks, she has devised her own astrological system which is interesting.
I love her Egyptian deck as well! It's such an interesting one with the different astrological system as you say. I bet the original Ancestral Path tarot guidebook was awesome, I wish the new version came with it :) Thanks for watching !
I have the Omegaland Tarot, and I was using it for daily draws that I shared on my Twitter couple of months ago. I have a review of it scheduled to appear on my blog later this month. I think also it is a deck that works for the Hard Times and pandemic we live in now, but as you say, it is not for everyone.
I also have the Gaian Tarot, one of my favorites.
I do fall among folks that feel decks like Tarot of New Visions are gimmicky, but as the Rivera Tarot Corollary to Ranganathan states: "Every deck its collector/reader/user, and every collector/reader/user their deck."

🐚🐚🐚 I'll be honest and say most of the Tarot decks shown here just weren't my cup of tea, but I am always interested in seeing what is out there, so this was good for that - thank you. The most surprising one for me was the *New Visions Tarot.* I actually gave away the original pocket Waite-Smith deck I had studied with, as I had grown tired of the imagery and I had become very blasé (as you put it). I am now curious to check out the *New Visions Tarot* (which shows each Waite-Smith card scene from the behind perspective), as well as the the *Before Tarot* (which shows the moment before the Waite-Smith scene in each card) and the *After Tarot* (which shows the moment after the Waite-Smith scene in each card). I feel like these changed scenes could jog my mind more and challenge me to see each card from a different point of view, and therefore come to appreciate their meanings at a deeper level. Thank you! 💖
I'm so happy you could discover some news decks even though all of them were not for you. That is the magic of all the decks out there right now, so many options we are bond to find something for us in the mix as there is something for everyone. I love the After tarot too it is a great deck, I love using for the 'what is coming next ' types of readings, works really well for that. Thank you for watching 🤗
I know this is an old video, but I enjoy the Arcana Tarot Playing Cards by Dead on Paper, and I NEVER see it used.
It’s unique for sure. First, the cards are poker sized. That alone I’d think would be easier for video production, being able to show whole spreads up closer than with tarot sized cards.
The art is gorgeous too, front and back, though it is in black and white. The suits are the very definition of pipish, as they’re mainly displayed as the literal American playing card pips, though the tarot pips are also indicated on each card.
It also comes on a lovely linen cardstock and in a nice embossed and foiled box. It’s VERY packable to bring in a bag or pocket.

I have, among others, New visions tarot, Before tarot and After tarot and of course Rider. I use all of them together, and gives me the most amazing readings. I recommend them all.

I have the Neo Tarot and I agree with everything you said! I have the portuguese version and the guidebook came separated in a pocket, I guess they changed it here because a lot of people were complaining abt the box.

I now have this deck and find it very beautiful, both in its art and readings. Yes, some images are hard hitting, but it is what it is. Our world isn't all rose and peaches. The new Era elements is one of my favorite tarot decks. I don't have an issue with the pictures, these pictures show the truth of our world.
I love to work with it.
Another mass market deck I really love is the animal totem tarot. The meanings and the choice of the animals are so great.
Omg yes that is totally another good one, I have worked with it quite a lot especially earlier on in my tarot journey and it’s great and that guidebook is so interesting !

My favourite deck is the Cartomanzia 184 by Modiano - and I haven't seen it anywhere on yt. Actually I found it on amazon while looking for an egyptian style tarot. The thing about I like most is, that it is a mix of the french suites and Marseilles + the Majors are in a nice aquarell-art style but egyptian themed. And the cards contain also astrological information. The only bad thing about it is, the deck has keywords and the guidebook only in italian, and I don't speak italian. Also the paper is great.

The uncommon tarot cardstock is quite glossy so that is definitely something to be aware of because I know so many people don’t like glossy cards. The Gaian yes so good 😍 always giving healing vibes !!

Yes it feels like it’s so easy for some to go unnoticed because we’re being flooded with new releases all the time sometimes it’s a bit overwhelming ! The good side is more choice for us 😊

I just finished up a 78 deep dive into the Gaian which is always in my top ten decks. I love it so much.
That's awesome! there is so much to unpack there so much symbolism & plants/ animal references etc... I'm sure it was a rewarding experience to do a deep dive :)
I have the original Gaian tarot before it went OOP and schiffer republished it. I am very happy I have that version because the cards are way to large in the schiffer version. I trimmed the original ones sadly enough, years ago. I regret it now because it's OOP (that version).

Thank you so much! I don’t own many inspired Thoth decks, the only ones are the new era element tarot in this video and the outgrow yourself tarot & oracle ( it can be both) which is an indie deck. I’m not super familiar to Thoth yet so it’s not my go to for reading but I can recommend those ones because even as someone who doesn’t use Thoth as much as RWS inspired decks I enjoy both of them a lot 😊 oh and also the telezma tarot which is another indie deck ( it’s pricey though) but it’s beautiful and one of my favorite finds of this year. I don’t know of any others though I am sorry

That New Era Elements Tarot deck is like a slap against the face! On one hand I really would like to have that deck, but on the other I'm trying to think of a situation where I would actually use it, and I'm not sure I would use it. But it's a gorgeous deck!
I totally get it it’s definitely not for everyone and everything ! I use it only for myself and it’s been a fun tool to also learn more Thoth key words but I have to be in the right mindset to pull it out because it’s definitely a LOT! Thanks for watching

🐚🐚🐚 I think the Cosmic Tarot has to be 80s, with those hair and clothes styles. I love how you called it bonkers! It's not for me, but I enjoyed you talking about it. What I love is the Golden Tarot by Kat Black! I need to play with my copy now! I still like the look of the Neo Tarot and the Uncommon Tarot, both of which have tempted me before. The Anna K. tarot is not for me, but I do find the Anna K. Lenormand very tempting! Thank you for this interesting video!

This was my first time watching one of your videos and really enjoyed! Thank you! I love the Gaian Tarot, too. While I think the New Era Elements is intriguing, I just wouldn’t be able to look at some of the cards; I find that disappointing because most of the deck is brilliant. My new wishlist deck from this video, however, is the Uncommon - love it so much and even though I’ve been watching a ton of walkthroughs the past six months, I’d not seen that one. Blessings!

I was so excited to see the Omegaland. I have never used it much and am not into apocalyptic distopies IRL but for some reason this deck is very close to my heart. Go figure

I just found your channel and really love this kind of video. I'm very eager to see the one on guidebooks if you choose to do it. There are some amazing hidden gems out there people forget about or came out before the recent boom in the last few years. I have the cosmic tarot as well and am really happy to see you talking about it! I agree, it's weird in the most wonderful ways. The cosmic tarot was the first deck I bought for myself over 20 years ago!!! I never see it!!

Ohh you can find a larger guidebook on ebook version to put on your tablet etc. Amazon sells it as ebook format for like very cheap I got mine 2 or 3 euros max and it has a ton of great info about the deck if you love it I would totally recommend 😁 I think the actual book version that used to come with the deck a long time ago is no longer printed so the paper format might be super expensive to find but the ebook was a great read !

Also, I added the Gaian Tarot to my wishlist. The blue border isn't too bad. I think I could get used to it.
16:56 I want this deck so much. I put it on my wishlist a while back because I found out it was for self-care and I LOVE SELF-CARE SO MUCH!!! That book looks so bomb. Sucks it was glued in wtf. Also, it reminds me of the Mystic Mondays but less crazy bright.
Omg yes I can totally see that for the neo tarot and mystic Monday’s… similar vibes for sure even though they are very different. That glued down book 😤😤 I’m still not over it 😂😂 and yes better be aware of the massive cards otherwise it can be a surprise when it arrives. Thank you for watching 🤗

It absoutely is not mass marketed but the Accurate AF tarot deck is just lovely and so well made. It is a learning curve to shuffle though but if ¥ou are ok with round cards I highly suggest.

I have a copy of the Ancestral Path Tarot dated 1995. It has borders around the cards that I don't like. Also, the circle on the back of the cards has the image in it which is the same as on your little white booklet, instead of a pearl. The card backs on mine also have a white border. 🐚
I didn't know that about the older edition that's very interesting! Is it the edition with the bigger book? I hear there are lots of great stories in there relating to the myths. Thank you very much for watching !

Having a good guidebook is actually one of the things I consider before getting a deck.
I had filmed it and my file got corrupted but it is a subject I am very passionate about too haha so I am going to film it again, it is on my list to do :) thanks for watching!

I got the Golden Tarot earlier this year and was actually surprised how much I liked it once I started using it. I regret not getting it sooner.
