1) My philosophy of deck editions: whatever one I've got, it's the one I'm meant to have. If I've got the first indie edition, I'm so cool, I've got the special one. If I've got the second indie edition, I've got the one where all the mistakes are corrected, and it has better cardstock. If I've got the mass market, then I've saved a lot of money. The deck I have is the best deck. 2) I'm in total agreement about the Nemeth - it probably would've been in my top five for 2024 so far if it had a guidebook. 3) A number of years ago, a friend talked me into watching the Bachelor, and it was...not for me. So I pretty much ignored that Final Rose deck. But watching you flip through it, it actually looks fun and clever, like you don't have to be a superfan to get something out of it.
That is actually a great philosophy regarding your indie VS mass market versions ! I think for me I usually don't mind either but when the indie release and the mass market one are just weeks apart it can feel a little frustrating but it's like you said we end up with the one we are meant for. I have never seen the bachelor but I've been really surprised how well this reads even without specific knowledge of the tv show the modern life associations are really cool 🤗

I’ve had Dream of Nile for a few months and it has become my favorite deck. Initiation card (Fool) is my favorite 0 card of all my decks. It’s so meaningful. I’ve only just started exploring Thoth and astrology so I rely heavily on the guide book. It’s very informative. The designer is creating an oracle deck…I can’t wait! Enjoy all your new decks. I love your selection as always, Marine! I backed the Solara Occulto Kickstarter but had it delivered to my daughter in the US to save on postage (I'm in the UK). I'll hopefully be seeing her sometime later in the year but I don't know when yet. I can't wait to see her AND the four decks I've had delivered to her, but the Solero Occulto is top of my 'can't wait' list! And I've pre-ordered the Rainbow Brainskull - you sold me on it. It doesn't release until July here. I was sooo tempted by The Lost Forest Kickstarter....the artwork is stunning but I decided in the end that it doesn't function as a tarot deck enough for me as a relative newbie.

Hi Marine, so many cool decks! Even though I have the 2nd edition of the Solara Occulto, I still want the newest edition. It seems so different since all the images are bigger. I was excited to hear you mention your best friend lives in Austria's. One of our sons lives in Oviedo. We haven't been able to visit yet but it's amazing to see how much they maintained and celebrate the Celtic traditions.
Purchase it! Buy it! Lol. I’m a deck enabler but the second edition is so incredible, a thick one too which I adore. The cards being pretty much borderless really add so much more, there’s a lot more we can see of the artwork that once was covered by borders and the color enhancements are *chefs kiss* so scrumptious. It’s truly an amazing deck so treat yourself, Lol. I cannot recommend this deck enough. 🙂

As a single mom, it was nice to see a card ( Queen of Rings ) with "single mom" as the keywords in the final rose tarot, and that it was a queen when sometimes I feel like the 5 of pentacles could just as easily be "single mom" when your child has special needs and a deadbeat dad. I appreciate the positivity and authority of it as well as the suit because the material and earthly things are a constant source of drive.
I loved that card; such a nice refreshing outlook on the queen of pentacles & I think really the perfect representation of resilient, hard work, abundance & nourishment 💖💖
Coucou Marine! That King of Flutes from the Final Rose made me cry!! My dad and I used to dance like that all the time, it's such a sweet memory for me! I remember thinking that I never wanted to grow up because I knew that we would've had to stop when I was too heavy to step on his feet lol! I need that deck now!!! I love these hauls of yours! I could get the Nemeth Tarot and the Lost Forest Tarot just for the artwork, instantly transported elsewhere just by going through the cards. Who needs a spaceship 😂?

I miss the Mythos Tarot. 😭 My little family and I drove across the country to spend a month with my parents. I brought decks I thought would vibe with my parents - and they do - but I wish I had brought the Mythos Tarot too. Thanks for a wonderful video!

Ok I totally ordered the Mythos Tarot after seeing it on your Instagram! I was also tempted by that Dream of Nile, but it being Thoth inspired means it would be lost on me, but the quality is excellent. As for that Nemeth Tarot, it helps to know that while Galicia is technically in Spain, the culture and language is actually closer to Portugal. So, I was familiar with a small chunk of it, but am still waiting on that guidebook to learn all.
I definitely am going to need the guidebook for the Nemeth tarot as it's so rich in stories it's going to be a juicy study project once it comes ! Ohh exciting for the mythos tarot, can't wait to hear what you think of it 😍 thank you for watching💖

Hi Marine! Loved the Rainbow Brainskull oracle, I have downloaded the app, thanks for the tip, the deck is not out yet here. The Nemeth Tarot really has interested me, my mother's family is from a Portuguese village with celtic influence and at one of the borders with Spain! And I live near Galicia, galego language is very similar to Portuguese and maybe some legends intersect (very likely, they are neighbouring regions.) And one of my aunts was Galician, I mean, this is really calling me. I have been researching (not academically) about pagan and celtic culture here in Northern Iberia so I am really going to look into it ❤ Thanks for the video, have a lovely week 💫💜😘🙏🏻

I love these hauls! OMG I got MM Rainbow Brainskull. It’s so fun! I’ve never had anything from them before. I hear ya on the indie going MM a month later. It’s happed to me a couple of times in recent years and it’s frustrating for sure. I appreciate when people tell us ahead of time. I’ve backed 2 KS that are still not in hand but they are already saying they will be MM b4 the end of the year. I don’t think twice if it’s been a few years but it aggravates when it’s just a few months 😂 But like you said you win some you lose some 😊.
I totally feel you ! When it's a been a bit of time in between the indie release and the mm release you feel like at least you got to enjoy the deck but when it's literally weeks it's so frustrating 🫠But that can also teach me patience sometimes 🤣thank you so much for watching 💖

The Mythos Tarot is stunning! Ohh I want it, I want it, lol. Love the Solara Occulto Meliora. I cannot recommend & praise that gorgeous deck enough. I have had Dream of Nile on my deck list for a bit now and although I told myself I’m going to behave some, this may have to be an exception because it’s simply delectable, delicious, incredible & fantastical. Yeah, I’m for sure going to have to be a bit bad and buy that deck, probably today in fact, lol. I went back & forth on the Nemeth tarot, the artwork is gorgeous but I’m not familiar at all with Galician folklore, so I feel like that’s something way out of my comfort zone, although for that deck it’s absolutely worth deep diving into and really researching. My luck I’ll go and finally decide to buy and it’ll be sold out and on eBay for like $68583 lol.

I’m sorry that you missed out on the Rainbow Brainskull mass market but you made my day - I love it but couldn’t afford the indie version, so when you said it was on Amazon I was over there pre-ordering before you could blink! It’s not released until July in the UK so I too will have to learn some patience 🧘♀

I’ve wanted to see what the rainbow brain skull looked like but I know exactly what you mean I think they’re making a mass market of the tarot of the cosmic seed and idk how I feel about it being mass market now, more affordable. But is the quality gonna be anything like the original
I don't think they will ever match the indie quality with the mass market so at least we can take comfort in that 😅 On one hand I'm really happy more people can get their hands on them, on the other when the indie release is so close to the mass market one it can be a little frustrating for sure

There is a mass market edition on amazon now that will come out in a month or so that might be more affordable :)
