- Bonjour everyone! Today I give myself a new challenge by trying to match one tarot deck in my tarot collection for each of the major arcana's energy. What is a deck that gives me the energy of the Hermit or the World? Is there a tarot deck in my tarot collection that I feel represents Death or The Empress? What is the tarot deck that embodies the most the Emperor in my tarot collection? This is what I want to explore in this new tarot tag I created called #onedeckperarcana

I did this exercise a year ago and ended up with exactly 40 decks. Except 2 , all the other major arcana cards received 2 decks. This is a great subject. Thank you!

Haha! This is why I mentioned people can choose only their fave major arcana if they want to do a shorter version because I don't want anyone to feel like they need 22 of them. However would I stand in the way of you getting some awesome decks? Absolutely not haha you know me 😁❤️I'd love to see you do a VR with the decks you have, I know you'll have some great insights 🫶

@@thewavesofyoursoul girl you have so much on your plate please don't worry about that!! 🩵🩵 Okay, I don't have that many examples for the court cards off the top of my head, because I have to work with the deck consistently to find out haha, but I've been exploring the Beautiful Creatures tarot lately and she is definitely giving Queen of Swords! (Aka lovingly kicking my ass). Otherwise, I think of The Light Seer's as the Page of Cups, and the Darkwood Tarot as the Knight of Wands (although that last one is probably mostly due to the deity I associate with this deck!). I want to see more of the Island as well! Can you see the ocean from your house? Are you still seeing whales currently? Can you see a lot of stars at night or do you have light pollution there? I miss being able to see all the stars since there is so much light pollution nowadays.
@@joanb. the whales are actually just starting, first couple were spotted last week but I’ve not seen them myself yet this year. And yes very lucky that the light pollution is still to a minimum here although sadly it’s getting worse on the coast line. I’ll make sure to share more videos of the island 🥰😘

The way all of these made so much sense, but especially the High Priestess! The second you pulled out the Mary-El, something just hit me in the chest with like “oi, duh, of course!” Loved this! And you’ve reminded me I need to hunt down that Arthurian Tarot. Especially since the guidebook does a good job of familiarizing the reader with Arthurian tales. Tho I suppose waiting for an English translation might be wise lol

This was super fun! It's so hard to pick just one that I started thinking of categories, like my kawaii decks for the Fool etc. For Temperance, I thought of all the alchemical decks I have - Robert M Place and Beauchard and Alchemical Visions and Tarot of the Holy Light. 🌊
