I work at a shop in LA and we submit to CGC almost weekly. We always joke that the only difference between a 9.6 and a 9.8 at CGC is whether or not the guy grading your book got laid recently. So harsh these days. Good books tho!
I would suggest a CGC pre-screen next time. Nice books nonetheless.
Awesome books man, CGC has been very harsh lately... I highly recommend spending few extra bucks to prescreen.
Crossed my mind for this submission but honestly I thought ever book except the Simpson comic and stories would hit atleast a 9.6. Never thought that the EBG would come back a 9.2
Yeah dude... I just submitted a copy of Batman #6 2012 and was thinking it was mint. 9.6 at the worst and it came back at an 8.0!!! Crazy
