Nice work. I’m going tomorrow to pick up a wetjet 701 for my doner ski. Got a 300 hull last week. We’re going to build the motor a bit but stay under 2k ish
I did the same thing for my bob ski, was able to make adapter plates for the motor mounts out of ½ inch thick aluminum plate. Wet jet 701 pipes and intakes/carbs are a great setup with lots of power
@@LeObsidianCraft was it a 300ski and we’re able to flip it? We’re going to do the 61x 62t combo. Some say that’s unnecessary. My wetjet came with the 44 carb not the 46 unfortunately
@@brokeboymotorsports5674 single carb 701 with the wet jet west coast intake and 46mm carb will be more than enough to flip a 300sx off a wake. Also planing on putting a 144 Yamaha pump in, haven't gotten it out on the water yet
Hey man sounds like your not around the ski rn but do you off chance no about how long and wide of a cut you made to “rocker the nose” mainly curious of how wide of a section you cut out and how long. Probably gonna send it either way. And just cut what I think looks right. Lol. What have you been using to make the cuts. Seems like a jig saw could be pretty sweet.
how many hours do you think you have in it thus far? everything included, not just building but driving to buy parts, time designing, etc etc... Im guessing 100-200hrs at a minimum..???
I would say about 100, which in retrospect isn’t terrible for a build like this. I would say it will probably take another 100 or so to finish. But I’m going to try and finish it as soon as I can

I just used a angle grinder with a cut off wheel, I cut out about a 6 inch section with the angle peice in the middle
