James, explain torque.
The 90s DTM cars are the most sophisticated and expensive racecars to exist.
Outside of maybe the early 90's F1 cars I can definetly see it
LMP1 went insane the final decade of its existence. Porsche ducked out early because they were spending as much as a modern F1 team for fractional exposure.
The Calibra is my all-time favorite car ever. Having one myself, i really hope they bring it back in GT7, tho i don't have high hopes for it.
I could see it maybe considering they don't have a real rival to the 155 in that game
Thank goodness we didn't get this in the US as a Saab (as originally intended).
What
@@TheRealEmile Apparently, we were going to get the Calibra in America as a Saab, but they never went through with it.
That is surprisingly good showing given how awful it looks to handle. I do love a Calibra.
I think with a turbo and a redline of about 9k this would be alot better for the track. This was as unfun to drive as it looks
Calibra kinda cool, I remember there was one on my street when I was like 4 or 5 and it was like the coolest thing
You see a redline of 15k activates my Honda fangay tendencies but it's way too peaky for this track
@@azzii_x Oh I agree, problem is all the cars with that redline make no low-mid end torque
The Lancer Evos were sweating a bit
Old DTM cars are better than todays DTM nonsense
Today's DTM is just another GT3 series😴😴😴
@@williamlee7371 it was there where FIA lost their marbles in the business, they completely ignore the existence of super saloons
The 90s was the pinnacle of touring cars, DTM and super touring were open chequebook racing. The 2.5 V6 with F1 style pneumatic valves screaming at 12k was on another level. I consider myself lucky that I followed Motorsports back in the 90s and early 00s.
@@williamlee7371 don't forget V8 saloons
