Thanks for a great video and easy to follow instructions. I have a 2013 Honda Accord with 40K miles on the clock. Starter has been having problems, and would only start every 7-10 cranks. I couldn't believe the starter went out at such low mileage. Bought a replacement Honda starter online ($344). It took me less than 1 hour to complete the starter replacement, using jack stands and work laying on my back. I used a 14mm swivel socket and long extension for the lower bolt, and a 14mm regular length socket for the top bolt. I had a harder time putting the lower bolt back on, than putting the top bolt back on. But with some patience, they went back on. I folded back the rubber boot on the battery lead wire before reattaching the lead to the starter and tightened the nut. This job saved my $700. Thanks again for the tutorial.
Andrew Carrera wow 700$ in savings Way cool! Glad the video helped. Thank you for sharing and watching!
Just started having problems at 72k miles on my 2013 unfortunately but this video is a huge help thank you!
Thank you so much for this video. I just had to change mine on my 6MT Accord Sport with only 65k miles and I couldn't have done it without this video. You saved me about $700. I ended up buying the Duralast model at Auto Zone, but wishing I would've bought the Bosch model instead (extra $100). Everything is working fine now. Thanks!
Having the same problem with my 2015 Accord. Thank you for posting! Beats $700-$1000 that a lot have had to pay.
Milicent Gazan glad to help. Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the Great Video! Dealer wanted $600 for the starter and 3.5 hrs of labor. It took me an hour as an amateur and the car is working fine now.
That’s awesome glad the video help you save. Thank you for watching!
The absolute best tutorial for this project! I've watched every vid about this and still felt discouraged about it. I'm minutes away from replacing mine so I'll time it and see what it takes then I will give feedback. If I could have someone "Like" this comment in order for me to come back to this video so I don't lose my spot. It is 7/9/22 and the time start at 3:20pm E.T. Here I go!
Good luck with the repair 👍
And beer break’s don’t count
@@HowtoAutomotive Cranked it up at 10:30pm It even starts extra fast now! So...3:30pm-10:30pm minus 1.5hrs for nonsense (talking and 3 Bud Light breaks) ☺️= 5.5hrs. Majority of it was wiping dirt out of my eyes and trying to hold the starter and get bolts started at the same time. Thank you and Good night!
@@attheendoftheday8969 so if I only have a jack, easy enough to replace myself? Or should I take it somewhere ?
@@mikeyc3726 I used a basic jack with both stands. You can do it, it's just a knuckle buster of a task. Getting the bolts out blindly was not fun either. I would also buy a new starter. After so long, mine is now starting to go faulty again 😩
Thankyou very much for the detailed video. People like you helps others, like me. Thanks a lot!
Chabulawa12345 glad the video was helpful. Thank you for watching!
At 4:23 I think is much easier if you put the TOP BOLT inside the starter hole, before bringing the Starter to position it on its place. I mean putting in the top bolt in the starter's hole while you still have the starter under the car, and holding the bolt with your hand so it won't fall, while bringing the starter to its place and installing the bottom bolt. That way you DON'T have to BLINDLY FIND THE TOP HOLE, when it will already be inside the top hole of the starter. Youll Just push it in and screw it in, since it will already be inside the starter's top hole. I'm saying because that was MUCH EASIER and quicker. Just sharing my opinion, thanks for a helpful video.
Thanks.. little tips like yours saves time when doing this...
Just did mine. 2017 accord. 80k miles. So the switch out seems easy enough, being that its only 3 bolts. However the location and limited space to work with is the hard part. I could only work with one hand. Be patient and dont get frustrated. It felt good, not only to save some money, but just to fix your own car. Not bad for a first timer.
Thanks for the video upload on replacing the stater. My starter started acting up in November and completely failed in March. I watched your video and decided to order a replacement from Ebay and install it myself. It was a success!! Thanks Brian!!!
BTW I did need the NAV/Radio Codes.
carlos stewart sorry to hear that you're having car trouble but I'm glad the video help. Thank you for taking the time to write!
how long did the aftermarket last
Following lol I would like to know how long starter lasted
Thanks for the video! Had the same problem, this helped me tackle the project efficiently and confidently. I ended up getting my old one rebuilt and the sweetest sound was the car starting when I had everything reconnected. Thanks!
bhscj5 That’s awesome I’m glad the video helped. Thank you for watching!
It's crazy how many people's starters are failing.....honda just doesn't make the quality of vehicles as they used to
Funwithaball mine just went out as well. Never buying Honda again
Mel Logan .....I replaced it myself which wasn't too hard to do saved a lot of money doing it myself it's rather easy just takes about an hour. Hardest part is screwing the bolts back onto the new one . Can't believe the starter fucked up tho. The original part from honda is just shitty. They should replace it all for free since they made a faulty part ona brand new car
Funwithaball exactly, it should be a recall. Dealership quoted me $800. They fixed the battery sensor recall and I went directly to Autozone and got the part for $275. Going to fix it at the hobby shop on base. Disappointed with Honda..
Mel Logan yeah I went to AutoZone as well. You can a really find a refurbished one on eBay for like 80 bucks if you wanna wait a few days to get it. I would have done that except I needed it that day
Funwithaball Wow, you saved me $238. I’m going to take this one back to AutoZone. Thank you very much dude
Thank you for sharing this video. Just helped me install new starter in 2013 Accord, Sport Trim, Manual Transmission. Starter was a different model (slightly), but the installation was essentially identical.
Glad the video was helpful. Thank you for watching!
How many miles did you have in the odometer?
Many thanks for this video. We are lucky enough to have s shop that rebuilds starters right here in town and that cost me $98.62 after taxes. My car was 5 years old and had 84,000 miles when the starter failed.
adrianrog hundred bucks to get your car back on the road is not too bad. That’s some pretty good savings there. Thank you for watching!
nice.. Is it in central California by any chance..
Adrianrog. Do you know if they ship to other states
Thanks for the video. Starter went out on my '14 Accord Sport with 90k miles. Also had my CV axle snap 10k miles ago. My '04 Camry has 220k and everything is still working. I had no problems whatsoever with. Gonna be sticking with Toyota from now on.
Great Video.
Most other videos advised that YOU MUST REMOVE THE INTAKE MANIFOLD to change the starters on the 2.4L honda Accords. I guess not if you have access to a lift, you can change it from the bottom!! Saves a lot of time.
Anthony Fregoso glad to help. Thank you for writing and watching!
Anthony Fregoso no need to remove intake manifold, even the dealers don’t remove the manifold.
The older generation accord before this generation you have to remove the intake manifold.
Thanks for the vid, saved me a ton a money! I was able to do it with the car on jacks, made it a bit of a jedi training exercise to find the bolts, but got it handled. Only issue I ran into was the rebuilt unit I bought from Pep Boys had a 13mm nut, rather than the OEM 12mm nut, on the lead from the battery. I was able to get this done using a standard 3/8" drive 14mm socket with 1.5" and 3" extensions; didn't wind up using a universal joint.
Very accurate video and description about how to install a starter into a 2013 Honda Accord. Having just completed installing it, I would like to add that this is a job best done on a lift. I completed the job on my back with the car on ramps, twice! I was about to complete installation of the first starter when the positive terminal connector broke while tightening the nut for the positive wire. After taking off the starter again, I compared the new one that broke with the old one that died. The positive wire terminal of the old starter was integrated into the starter housing and was made of much stronger plastic than the new one. I literally hit the old terminal with a rubber mallet several times and it did not break. The new one broke with minimal torque while replacing the nut on the terminal bolt. While I love being a diy'er, I don't think I would do this job again without access to a lift. Thanks How to Automotive for a great video!
Adrian Stepp Very cool of you to share your story .so sorry that you had to do the job twice. But I guarantee you even doing it twice you still save a Tune of money.
Same thing happened to me! The plastic connector snapped and i was Shit out of luck. Took me a total of 4 hours busting my ass under my car for this shit. Sigh. What did you do after?
one off the best video so far thank you sir for saving me a $400-500 thank you.
Honda replaced mine under warranty when the car had around 30k miles on it, now my 2013 accord sport has close to 116k on it thank you for uploading this detailed video. I will be ordering a replacement for it off of Amazon and plan to install my self saving hundreds of dollars instead of going through a Honda dealership.
Wow that's sad. So the avg life for the starter is around 60-70k miles. Fuck Honda, this is the last one I buy.
@@masteryoda669 my honda has 44,000 miles and the starter is done
@@masteryoda669that’s the average on Honda starters. We deal with them all the time and around 70 thousand seems to be the number when they go bad.
This video has great value. I replaced my starter easily after watching it. A friend replaced his, and broke the plastic housing after over-tightening the 12mm nut on the positive cable. So the advise about just snugging it up is spot-on.
The mechanic wanted to charge me $350 to fix this. Im starting to suspect a rip off. Nice video man. Ill ask my girlfriend to do it for me. It looks easy.
3l6uat3 the labor should be around 100-125 for this job. There is another model that That is a lot more difficult and email quoted you for that. Now if I could just figure out how to get my girlfriend to do my car repairs that would be great. Lol
With parts? Then that's cheap af
That’s actually a pretty good price especially if it includes the part.
Side job I charge 60 dollars
That's I believe is decent price if your talking part and labour. My mechanic wanted to charge $340 Canadian for part and labour. I ended up buying a aftermarket starter for 220 and essentially save over 100 bucks
Good video..... my 2013 Accord EX 136k miles just started not wanting to turn on ... takes a few tries then works.... swapped the battery since it was warranty before I found these cars have starting issues.....I knew battery was probably good since the car has plenty of power
Thanks for responding back so fast. I will let him know . Maybe the factory warranty can cover it.
Quality Landscape and Hauling I would definitely check into that.
Wow. Explained very well. Today (5th Sep 2020) I visited Honda Oakvilla service center which is located at Oakville, Canada. They are charging me $900 for starter replacement. (inspections $125 , starter 440$ + tax and labor $280). Overall I have paid $900 CAD.
I don’t know why these Honda service centers are always looking for how to steal money from customers instead of just charging what they fixed.
“AVOID OAKVILLE HONDA SERVICE CENTER” to save your money.
Great tutorial!! thank you man!!!! i have a 2014 honda accord and my starter is going out at 44,000 miles. i have to crank it like 20 times to start the car.
jmazda6v6 definitely sounds like the starter. Let me know how the job comes out.
My 2013 Accord did the same exact thing at 47,000 miles! I drove around for almost a month having to push the button like 25 times before it would start too, but finally got it fixed!
My accord sport 2014 still going strong, almost 74K miles on it ,only had to replace the alternator at 71K which was easy ,other than that still no issues
Thanks i love this review... my wife has crv so good to know...
I am the original owner of a 2013 Honda Accord LX 2.4 L with 17K miles. About 6 months ago I started having an intermittent starting problem (turn the key, dash lights come on, 1 click from the engine compartment and the engine didn't crank at all). At first (about 6 months ago) it would only happen perhaps once per month until a week ago it was happening every few days and quickly went to almost every start attempt. Previously, the Honda dealer couldn't find any error codes and couldn't duplicate the problem until this past week when it was routinely failing and they diagnosed the problem as a bad starter which I had them replace. Their starter cost was $486 and took 2 hours of labor @ $125/hr to replace. Given that the car came with a 36 month warranty, I guess that Honda designed the starter well as it lasted 38 months before starting to fail.
sailor2sea - wow after the dealership replaced the starter it only lasted 3 years, that’s terrible how these starter are so poorly made, so what did you do about the 2 nd starter going bad.
My 2013 Honda's starter failed at 47K miles and would take me 20 or 30 tries before it would start sometimes. Thankfully, I just had it fixed
Great vid thanks for the diy
Joseph Kim thank you for watching!
Is the 2014 accord 2.4L starter replacement the same process? Many are failing in this model, including mine. Im not going to pay $700 - $1000 that they are charging to replace.
dynobreath yes it's the same. Crazy how much it cost.
NO RADIO CODES NECESSARY FOR THE 2013 BASE ACCORD LX! JUST FYI. So you don't have to go looking for non-existent codes. Just unplug the battery and plug it back in. Great vid though, thanks.
Thank you for the tip.
You're welcome
Or remove radio and look at the model and serial code and look up on Honda website for free
I’m having issues with my 2014 Accord not starting , thought it was the alternator not charging the battery, changed the alternator and still having the same problem of not starting. Going to replace the starter next I guess. I should have got a second opinion when they diagnosed the alternator being bad. Expensive lesson
jason mace sorry your going through this. Sounds like a starter issue. I would least double checked fuses to make sure they're OK.
You should always check your alternator with a meter to verify that it is bad before replacing it. I did that earlier this week and it was good. We have the starter in my buddy’s car off and waiting for the new on now.
Hi. My brother has 2014 honda accord sport with 38,000 miles and his starter went out. Is this a common problem on these hondas accords ?
Quality Landscape and Hauling Co 38,000 seems a little low. I've done a few around 50 and 60,000 miles May have just got a bad one.
I have a 2015 Honda Accord with 80000 miles and my starter still working it all depends when it comes out from the factory some might come out good or not the only thing I have to replace was the bearing left rear went bad at 50000 miles it's kind of interesting everybody else has different issues on their cars talking about the Accords
Yes it's very common with the accords ranging back to the 03 on up, they're known to go out from 25,000 miles on up.
My 2014 Accord starter gave out at 24,000 miles. Very common.
It's true, same thing happened my moms honda accord 2013 with 39,000 miles
I just change the starter on this car And on my experience is a painful job if you don't gane the right tools and the patient to do this job
Especially with the long bolt
It looks easy but not in y experience
Bery good video thanks
LgatoNegro Negro glad to help thank you for writing and watching!
Do you have a video on how to remove push to start button on 2014 honda accord
Good video.
Is this common with all Accords? For the starter to die with so few miles on the car
Yes, they go out within a few years in the accords
I have a "2013" starter with 46K miles and am just replacing the starter for the 2nd time... First time was with a rebuilt one that lasted just over a year ( just as the 1 year warranty ran out), and this time I spent a few extra dollars and bought a new one, hoping it will last longer... Anyone know if there's a certain replaceable starters that are better than others???? BTW, thanks for this Video, it makes fixing this somewhat easier...

Is it any different on the sport model???
My starter just died last night. 2013 Honda Accord Sport with 158K on it. Had to have it towed and will have a local service repair put in a non oem. I plan on running this into the ground so hope to get another 150K out of it. Fingers crossed. Great Vid. Thanks.

Good luck, you're lucky because this is a very common problem with Hondas
Mine was just clicking and I'd have to wait about 30 seconds in accessory mode to start it.

I have a 2013 accord.2.4l. Cvt 96k mi. I think the started solenoid on mine is bad also. Do you know if it was just clicking and not starting? How long did it take you to replace?
Adrian Vigil The clicking noise would most likely mean the starter is bad. You also could have dirty cables may want to check into that. I don't remember but I would guess it took me about an hour and a half. Thank you for watching and writing to me.
I just relaxed mine. But now it’s making a weird ass grinding noise upon starting the vehicle. Any idea what it is?
Ok will do. Thanks again !!
1st. Thanks for the video, good job! My Honda is at 2k mark and the only thing ever I had to fix was this starter, I will take that! Also if you like to fix stuff every couple months buy a Chevy LOL!!!
If you really like to fix stuff by a Volkswagen. Honda makes an amazing car. Thank you for watching!

Honda has always had electrical issues (Ignition switch made in Mexico, evap solenoids fail )but they still have fewer problems than a lot of vehicles out there.Sadly They cut corners to remain competitive.
Gonna replace the starter on my Honda Accord 2013. I have to turn the key like 10 times to luckily get my car to start. I’ll post an update on how it went
How'd it go? Mine is starting to do the same. Sometimes it turns on, sometimes it doesn't and I have to keep trying. Hasn't left me stranded yet though.

One trick to the top bolt to make it much easier is to tap it into position then just start tightening it, no need to look for the hold. I used masking tape. God bless and be safe
So no example of before and after starter demonstration? What was the indication of issue?
exactly .
This is awesome, thanks
what are torque specs for them 2 bolts?
I am having difficulty getting the long bolts threads to catch. Any tips on getting the long bolts started?
Aaron Holterfield start the smaller bolt first but leave it loose and then try to start the long bolt.
Good afternoon to all. M y husband needs to replace the positive cable for the battery on our 2013 Accord. He was showing me that it goes underneath a lot of parts, therefore making it nearly impossible (according to him) to do it himself. Honda wants $98.00 for the cable & $ 120.00 on labor. Do you you guys think it's doable, or only the dealer can do this w/o damaging other parts. Thank you all !
Lupita Martinez did your husband figure this out? I’m currently in the same situation
It looks like I could remove the air filter intake tube and access the starter from the top. Is it possible to replace the starter from the top without jacking up the car and getting underneath it? I have a 2014 Accord LX 2.4L CVT.
Todd S believe me it’s gonna be much harder from the top, you would need to remove the intake manifold and that’s much more work, why no just go from the bottom and remove only the starter.
I have a 2014 Honda Accord with 59k miles and starter finally went out. It was acting up for like 4 weeks. Before it would be stubborn but ultimately crank. Now, it finally stopped cranking.
Steve Sandoval sorry to hear your starter went out. Hopefully this video helped you out. Thank you for writing to me and watching!
Will this work on a v6?
Dang.. I thought Honda should be everlasting so I bought one. I had Dodge before and never had to replaced it even after 160k. Now my Accord is down on just 77k.
John same here, my car just hit 80k miles and the starter went bad
yea same I thought Honda';s were good my honda having all kinds of issue at 80k stupid no wonder they dont offer 100k warranty anymore
My 2014 Accord just hit 70k and the starter going out.
2013 Honda Accord EX 185,000 miles starting to act up my 2000 Honda had three hundred thousand miles never changed anything but a power steering unit sounds like Honda's qualities going to s*** these days
Will that part number fit a 2014 same car specs?
There is a link in the description of the video⤵️
Thank you!
70 thousand miles seems to be around the magic number for the Honda starters going out
First of all, thank for you this video.
Couple of questions:
1) Do you know what part would go into a 2015 Accord EX-L? I'm thinking a 9 tooth from everything I'm reading online.
3) Remanufactured and refurbished parts are different correct? Remanufactured can still be new, but refurbished pretty much means it's been used and fixed if I'm not mistaken. Do you recommend using a refurbished Honda Accord OEM starter or putting in a new remanufactured one like the Bosch SR1355x? Because wouldn't another Honda Accord starter just mean it would fail again? Mine has started to fail at 47K miles, doesn't that mean it'll eventually do it again if I put in the same defective part?
It's almost a brand new car. Was the part defective ? I bet it just missed the warranty
High mileage car. Use for a local business.
Thanks for the video. Successfully changed my starter on my 2013 accord 40k miles. Seemed fine, but after a month it started making some nasty grinding noise instead of starting. I have been able to rock or roll the car a little bit and then it starts fine with no grind.
Any idea what I didn't do correctly? Thanks
Joseph Freitas it sounds to me like the installation is not the problem more likely a defective starter.
Joseph Freitas or possibly the flywheel has bad teeth on it from the old starter
Thanks for your help! I feared would be a fly wheel problem. Do you plan to make a "replace your fly wheel" video? :)
Joseph Freitas it could be the solenoid on the starter that’s causing this issue.
My car is a manual is it the same thing ?
Thank god that is easier than a 8th gen or 2009 honda accord.. This is only slightly more harder than a oil change.
Would this be the same as a 2012 crv
I changed the starter on my 2009 Honda Civic. It was one of the hardest things I have done and I have rebuilt engines and serviced transmissions. The process is fairly simple but the location of the starter is such that if you want to do it without removing exhaust or mounting brackets it become almost impossible, specially if you have big forearms. I took it as a challenge to myself that I can do it without removing the components out of the way and it took me a good 5 hours. Hindsight 20/20 I could've done it in a couple of hours if I had done it the other way.
How hard is it to reach the bolts and sensors on a 2013 Accord? The reason I am asking even after watching the video is that the video I watched for the 2009 Civic also seemed easy but it was not.
msiddi01 Sorry that I gave you so much trouble. There is not a lot of room in there and that top bolt is a really pain in the butt to get to. Some of them come out pretty easy Samoan you struggle with. I’ve had my fair share of both. Thank you for watching the video!
@@HowtoAutomotive
No need to apologize. I was talking about an 09 Civic, not the Accord in your video. I am about to do it in a friend's 2013 and luckily for us he has smaller forearms than mine and can possibly reach those hard to get to bolts and electrical connectors.
Anyway your videos are awesome and thanks for making and sharing them.
I was having issues with starting. I was thinking it was the ignition switch. I took it to the dealer and they said it was the starter. I ordered an OEM one and installed per your video. I was quick and simple. Car has been running great for about 2 months now I am starting to have the same issues again. Any ideas?
James Williams I would first check for loose connections and test the battery. It was a remanufactured starter it is possible the starter is going out again.
The starter was brand new. I went out today and had the original starter tested at the parts store. The tested it 3x and it passed all 3 times. So know I am really clueless.
James Williams still need to test the battery and make sure the cables are not corroded. If you have corrosion in the cables you will have what they call a voltage drop and not enough amperage to start the car. Could have a bad ignition switch or starter relay.
How to Automotive I read across the battery with the fluke and got 12.6V. I was thinking at first it was the ignition switch. Where is the starter relay located? I been searching but cant find it.
James Williams like James said check your battery first, it is possible.
Can you change a 2009 accord starter the same way.?😭😭.all other videos show u have to take the intake manifold off
I love my Honda, but I'm not putting one of those OEM starters back in my car those things are garbage
And for $320?!? Hell nah.
My current OEM starter has about 200k on it
Is there a better one?
A Remey re-man replacement starter from Rock Auto was over a $100 cheaper than the parts house's locally..
Nice vidoe!
2013 67k miles and the starter is failing. Wow HOnda.. Thx for the video I might do it myself.
my 2014 only has 76 and I'm about to do the same thing. I should have bought a Toyota.
Thank you!
jacodude333 thank you for watching!
Son needs it at 140,000. Might tackle myself now but a mechanic said I had to remove the plastic intake manifold. Your video never suggested that
On the accord from 2013- 2017 requires no radio code after disconnecting the battery, just simply press the power button when the display ask for a code and bam he radio is back on, just need to reprogram the radio stations.
john jkizer thank you for the tip and for watching!
No, thank you for the very informative video, it’s videos like this that saves me so much money, you explained everything in details and now I am ready to do this. I have one last question, I’m not exactly sure which is going bad, is it my starter or is it my battery, at times but not often when I go to start my car, it will not turn over but as soon as I turn my key back to off position and start it again it starts like normal, I know it’s been said that these 9.5 gen Accord has starters that don’t last to long, I currently have 35,000 miles on a 2015 accord sport, I was told by the dealership that my battery was going bad but then again they always try to sell me something or I can go to autozone to have them test out my battery but I haven’t done that yet. Thanks again for your video , keep them coming
Hello is there uh like to that memory mechen thanks 🙏
What kind of machine was he using anybody knew
I just unplugged the starter and wiped it off a bit before replugging. Car fires right up. I suggest anyone having problems try this before going any further.
TJ Vega so after doing what you said is the car still starting up with no more problems, thank you and God Bless.
How many miles on the car? Does it have the CVT? I would like to know how the car has held up over all the miles it has
Hello. I would say this car is a very good car. This was it's first real problem and it has a 134,000 miles on it. I'm not sure what transmission was in this model. I did this job a while back. I work on a lot of Hondas and overall they are very solid car.
thanks for the reply. I have a 2015 4cyl automatic (CVT) with 40k miles. havent had any issues at all
+kunalhuhu you really can't beat Honda they make amazing cars.
Honda replace my starter at 40k. They did this as a courtesy, just paid $ 69 labor. I was very fortunate. The mileage was way too low for a parts change. My CVT has 166k, so far so good.
Please can you help me it's the same process for a Honda Accord 2.4l ex 2008
Reyner Rodriguez it's the same process the same motor.
in have a 2014 Honda Accord with 50,000 miles, can't locate starter?
I can't get the signal wire to lock back on to the starter. Any suggestions?
William McKelvey since the starter is already on the car it’s kinda hard to see but the connector on the starter should have a piece of plastic that retains the connector and that’s when you’ll hear a click.
Hello. I have a 2013 Honda Accord EX. It has the same problem!! I had recently changed the battery, the starter, the alternator and even put in new spark plugs...but the problem still persists!! The stalling/not starting is very random. The most recent incident happens this past weekend when I stopped to pump gas at a local Sam's Club. After finished pumping the gas, the vehicle wouldn't start, and stall there at the pump for a long time until I got help to push it to a parking space so people behind me to pump their gas. After 30 minutes of inactivity, I pressed the start button, and it turned on as normal, and I was able to drive home. What's wrong with this model and year??? Is it a keyless access control unit and software issue??? HELP!!
honda been putting on some crappy starters
all of my vehicles have been Honda and Toyota ,my 2014 accord spot starter died at 120,000 miles ,the Japanese started to make most of these parts in Mexico and China that's why we having a lot of crap in these vehicles!
