Very cool. I too have been trying to acquire that Skylifter for at least 20 years or more now. That and the CM Osprey. I can’t believe they haven’t released those again. They have to know there’s a demand for them.
I don't collect 1:18 but just binged thru your videos, had a great memory trip down to old days.

Good to see you back man. Well done on this, it looks great. I did up a Dino valley chopper myself but it was hard to make those first cuts due to the value. But I love how it turned out.
Cobra conversion oh man I don’t think I have the time to do my side for that this year but I’m glad you managed to finish this project of yours I have the same helicopter guess I need to come back and customize it I do have the access to 3-D printing material hopefully I can finish it someday

Doesn't Hasbro having to use Pulse to force fans to prove their interest in toy vehicles prove your point about Hasbro? Regardless, really like this custom. I've never done a proper custom before, and have always been a bit timid about it, but a $20 toy helicopter sounds like it's worth the risk. All that helicopter is missing, is glass for the cockpit, and maybe if you wanted some interior detailing. I remember years ago when Chap Mei made the AC-130 plane, some customizers used the clear plastic window of the toy's packaging to make that happen, they cut out an appropriate piece and glued it to the inside of the cockpit canopy, I bet you could do the same with this beast.

Amazing video my man so glad to see you back also if your interested I'm actually working on my own 1:18 scale toy line but in the original three and three quarter inch scale not the modern four inch scale it's not gonna start in a few years from now but what I plan on doing is essentially make real world vehicles both old and new a lot of old ones at first because I just love vintage military but with similar details to vintage g.i joe and also plenty of my own unique creations and I plan on making your made from scratch IFV only if your cool with it though and also with the same stats on your blueprints so if your interested I would like to send some stuff to you when my line is ready to roll out but anyways great video my man good to see you back and I really hope to be able to be in cobra convergence some day.

Holy crap man! I only recently learned about all these NON hasbro wonderful vehicles and started buying them anytime I see them! I just got a cheap battle ship and helicopter at walmart for a super low price! It's the same helicopter in your video! It was 20 dollars in the kiddie toddler toy section! I 3d design and print full o ring figures and these vehicles are really great for my figures and good starting point! Great to see this stuff is out there and being used by gi joe fans!

you know they might be right that most people don't want 1/18 scale vehicles because people aren't buying it and why i think this is true is since they're so lazy making stuff no one ever wanted; or just re making the same vehicles over and over and over again like with vintage collection in starwars.
I feel they just keep remaking thing simply cause they trying to reach younger audience that gravity to the “main” thing
