My biggest issue right now....um...II have no filiment!!!...Also from "still new too" Maryland USA...and could help to add a bit of thermal paste to that hot end build.
I'm just having to do this this morning. I was getting 1.98mm extrusion from my 0.4mm nozzle.
My main problem is Thermal Runtime . From Michigan
If you are having thermal runaway issues it is due to either the heater cartridge, thermistor of PID tuning.
Should put the name of the nozzle/extruder device into the heading to help people find it... I think "Creality Ender hotend nozzle/extruder rebuild" would get x10 more finds/views...?
What current print are you working on?
I am currently working on a motorized slider using 3D printing.

Anyone have any input/thoughts on using thermal compound in heater-bock and in the heatsink? n00bie here. :P

It can't hurt. I have only ever used it on E3D V6 hotends.
