Both NJ and JLL have a thing for phrasing and time - I just love it. JLL has always been a natural master of phrasing and cadence. Evan as part of his power and few of his old slick licks fall away - he sustains as he ages along with greats like Johnny Cash, James Taylor & George Jones for the same reason. The greats don't just run through their songs with a few tricks thrown around but manage to find their magical cadence in their love for speaking to the heart of the English language.
I've always loved Jerry Lee Lewis's music and I love the way he played this song. I have started to play piano myself just a few days ago and I'm learn from Jerry's video's. Having a lot of fun at it.
honestly God has been watching out for the Killer since day one. God given talent, he's survived his familys early mortality rate and just like the title he's the last man standing

This is my absolute favorite track on the Last Man Standing dvd. Shame on me, but I didn't know Norah Jones prior to this song. However, I fell in love immediately with her voice and her appearance... Thanks for posting
at 8 years old jerry was with his parnets at his mothers sister house she had a piano everyone was just setting around bsing and jerry set down at the piano and started playing had never touched one before everyone stopped talking and just listened the next week his dad solded nearly everything they had to buy his his first piano hes been playing every since knew from 8 years old he would be a star this is a true story
Jerry Lee - you were a "Born-Stinker"! Ypu go dear - YOU HAVE CERTAINLY PAID YOUR DUES! A WEST TENNESSEE transplant in 1963 - got a crack in that gate after college + in 81 and knew your manager and Sara McCarver - your Mother-in-law - 1st job w her SCSD. - LONG TIME AGO! - You've been a part of the feel since I was born (N-side Chicago - 1958) I didn't want to be in TN - But you and some of your peers made it ok - You "Do it Your Way"! JUST LIKE ANOTHER HARD HEADVI ACTUALLY KNEW - :-) MR S. And keep on livin' this life and havin some fun! Know there had to be a few "Saints" in your close mix - Mercy - go on now! ;-) 2 thumbs up!!!

The omission of the King of Rockabilly by the Country Music Hall of Fame is shameful. If Nora Jones is singing a country song with JLL then she's country imho
I love this song! Grew up on Ray Price but Jerry does a good job! He looks like the alcohol has got to him his face is all swollen - too bad 3 cousins all raised in the Lord - only one stuck with the Lord.
this is really sad to me.. i picture the Killer wearing dark sunglasses and smoking a fat cigar a wild true free spirt...looking at him here he looks so stiff and elderly..breaks my heart..but still has the magic in his fingures
get a clue dikwad, the king is old, we can't help what the years do to us, i feel sorry for people like you because when you reach this age you'll probably be in diapers sucking down oatmeal. jerry is still living the dream and kicking ass and i truly believe he will until the very end.

Jerry Lee the last man standing! The Killer rules!
All the star power that shows up just to sing with Jerry Lee proves the point. Jerry Lee is the man.
"the killer" greatest showman in the history of music bar none!!!
Just fantastic!
Hank Jr is his equal.and more Jr jerks
Jerry Lewis sings and plays his piano without any effort. It comes naturally to him. Norah Jones gives it a nice touch.

What a wonder song, and singers. Too bad he didn't live another hundred years.
Timeless. Truly timeless.
Great song with Jerry and Norah! Love it!
his voice is still fantastic
honestly God has been watching out for the Killer since day one. God given talent, he's survived his familys early mortality rate and just like the title he's the last man standing

As I've said before Jerry Lee was a genre unto himself. Norah Jones is the daughter of sitaritst extraordinaire Ravi Shankar (1920-2012).
I agree ! He is amazing on the keys!!
I love duets -- and this is a great one!! Thanks for posting it,
Love this music NOW AND WAY BACK IN THE LATE 50's .....and 60's.....aw him in concert several times❤

i just love his piano!!
No words good enough to say about jerry lee lewis
His first single......and still it works......
At 75 he still rocks the piano
revisiting this sweet piece
Norah Jones loosened up on this and sang like a free spirit. It is easy to tell she appreciated being on stage with one of the greatest.
Saw Jerry Lee in '58.
Opening acts--Frankie Lymon and LeVern Baker.
The Killer ROCKS!!!!!!!!!! thank you very much........thank you.
Norah --- shhhhhhhh this is the Killer' song.
This is my absolute favorite track on the Last Man Standing dvd.

Un grande del rock e swing, con una bellissima e bravissima voce di norah
Ferocious God given talent.
That's Ron Wood on guitar! Wow! What a band!
If I had to pick two singers who I would suppose least likely to do a duet, it would be Jerry and Norah. But here it is.
Nothing is better then these two people together
Now this is music Norah and Jerry Awesome.......

I love this song! Grew up on Ray Price but Jerry does a good job!
He looks like the alcohol has got to him his face is all swollen - too bad 3 cousins all raised in the Lord - only one stuck with the Lord.
I'm performing with The Killer was the trill of her young life.
this is really sad to me.. i picture the Killer wearing dark sunglasses and smoking a fat cigar a wild true free spirt...looking at him here he looks so stiff and elderly..breaks my heart..but still has the magic in his fingures

Those 3 you mean Ron Wood and Nora with Jerry, the Killer!!!
0:50 j 0:53 1:01
KILLER is the key word
went to his home on the 2-19-13 went to his gates to see his place and walked away with his autograph!!!!!!
After several listens over the years I still fail to see the significants of Ms. Jones.
Sans jouer comme Jerry , au clavier çà balance pas mal ! mais manque Norah !
On fera avec - - - où plutôt sans !!
What year was this? Ty for posting :)
