And now the game has issues with servers and other issues AGAIN. Same thing every year. Just wait until more players are on the servers after official drop day tomorrow. I’m ngl , THIS game to me feels worth it. They made an attempt to listen to the community on the important angles (smaller city / OG courts/ update ante up & rec)
Gameplay is beautiful. Outside of the initial servers being down I haven’t had any error codes or issues personally (thankfully)

2k is 2k if you enjoy basketball you probably enjoy 2k but I’ve been seeing some ppl complain about the game speed and speed boosting but I think it’s perfect! You Can’t just expect to hold R2 and be shifty gotta use it at the right time just like in real life, it’s a change of pace in basketball not just full speed 24/7

For the rest of us we have the option to pass on garbage copy paste editions, classic parks locked behind MyTeam or seasonal releases. I'm not buying no vc . $75 spent and that's all they getting out of me. So far the game is okay. Graphics look very mid.. and the my players move super slow, even with high speed and agility. I feel like it's not supposed to be like that
To be honest I’m learning the game it feels clunky to me idk what it is but it does not feel as smooth as previous years. Seems like they made the court bigger and slowed down animations and passing this game has potential but it will probably never reach it because they are focused on taking your money 😂

The thing is everybody want tik tok clips, everyone want to be the best but they do not understand that not everyone needs to have double digit points to win a game at the end of the day u need an order because there’s only one ball.
For example when I used to run with the squad I was the guy that always played pg, because I have a better time setting up my teammates than scoring, so my role was kind of like that glue guy, but make no mistake my role changed on a per game basis, based on my matchups. One game I can be the leading scorer and the next im doing the little things like hustling and playing defense and facilitating I always played the game like I play irl

I have been doing 2k long enough to know not to judge it until first patch or after season one. I have the feeling this year people aren’t taking bullshit from 2 k I think it’s a make or break year for this game. One of my friends I met in the game didn’t buy the game which says a lot this is a dude with no job, girlfriend or nothing 2k was this dudes life. Now he won’t even play the game he’s done.

It's slower for sure, I have been in MyCourt for the most part. Haven't played any park games. Still trying to get used to this new gameplay. I've always been a PG and a good dribbler, but man it's SO different this year.

City I’m with you I received just about the same as soon as I would go look at my city stats. It gave me an error code only when went to look at my city stats and I didn’t even press anything. I just turn the game off and went to sleep early.

I do not have some jumpshot animation even tho i have all of the requirements. For instance i have a 6'3 gaurd with a 92 3pt and I dont get stephn curry base or saddiq Bey base and allu need is a 90 3pt. Crazy!

Last year I was kind of smart and skipped 2K 24. This year was kind of dumb and I bought it and it’s riddled with bugs. I try to play my career game and there’s three of me, three clones. I’m unable to progress game goals. SMH

This game went on a huge marketing campaign, due to major print pieces tearing the game down due to greed... no innovations. How many rookies added, what 20? Fixed the rosters since NBA Allows such movement. Folks need to stand together, this is the only way to get change. Bought the game, made my build, bought 200k vc, got to 85, realized I made the small mistake of making him left handed, a smiple mistake that I can't change, made remember how iffy of a company they are, requested a refund from Microsoft, I'll take the loss on the 50$ on VC, but is the best decision for long term.
