calling wildflower a "bright and happy" song is crazy lol😭 this is why it's so important to go through the lyrics after hearing the songs, so i'm glad you did it for joke
B-free!!! Who ended up going to jail for assault. He also apologized a few years after dissing RM and Suga, but Army was not having it. At the end of the song, rm said “hit me”, challenging other rappers to come at him, none ever did Apparently when he was an underground rapper, he was only a teenager. Full grown men were scared to rap against him
RM wrote this song in 30 minutes while pissed off over some haters who said he wasn’t a rapper because of him being an idol. This was his “I’ll prove it to you.”
The “meaningless lyrics” comment in the article relates to the rappers RM is referring to in Joke. There is a portion of the song that has nonsensical lyrics (Bibidi babidy…). RM is is essentially mocking the other rappers who rap with speed with lyrics meaning nothing, but RM can rap just as fast with lyrics that means something.
UGH, DDAENG AND CYPHER 1-4 are BTS RAPLINE disstrack songs you diffenitely want to react to. W/ explanation videos from DDK after checking out the lyric videos coz they don't have MV's.
You guys keep saying Wild Flower is happy and bright but it's really not. It's very deep and even sad. You should go back and have a look at the lyrics. The best and most accurate translations you can find is from Doolset lyrics. She translates and even provides context. Here's just a snipet of what RM is saying in that song: "When all things I believed in drifted away from me When all this fame turned into shackles Please, take this greed away from me No matter what it takes Oh, please let me stay myself"
I think they are meaning athestically and music wise…. You have major cords and minor cords and major cords are happy cords minors are more darker and used for more sad melancholy songs. I think wild flower is in a major key
There's an infamous clip of RM and Suga being publicly humiliated by so-called 'rappers' during a panel from their early debut days. They were being accused of being 'idol rappers', questioned on their masculinity, and for being sell-outs to mainstream, at the same time there were idol rappers who looked down on them for being from a small entertainment company (poor) and not meeting kpop idol standards. Almost 10 years later, Agust D was the first K-pop rapper to achieve a Billboard No.1 rap album and the boys have also built one of the now biggest Kpop agency in Korea (Hybe).
Yes he was throwing shade at a certain rapper in korea whos name start with a "B" lol they had beef with bts calling them girls, and kpop idol who can't sing so they rap so they wear makeup to seduce girls so the bts rapline were pretty pissed they wrote CYPHER 1 to cypher 4 as a diss track to him cypher 1-2 is towards that certain rapper and cypher 3-4 is when they let go and diss the haters in general. BTW RM and suga came from the underground hiphop scene actually before they became kpop which is why bts write and produce almost all songs since they value lyrics and originality which is rare for kpop. Also one thing why bts are so big is since the rapline came from the underground hiphop scene and bts originally came from a small almost bankrupted company, they were less controlled/ censored since their company were more lenient what bts do and they can do whatever they want so bts talk about everything especially their non titled songs Bside songs about bullying, mental health loving yourself etc which is still very taboo in korea oh and BTS especially back then were really not censored at all lol they are not afraid to clap back at those who look down at them
Just say it...the guys name was B-free and he ended up in prison which I think was Karma. Suga also did a Diss rap to the same guy and it's another awesome track. 💜
no coz i’m so so happy u guys reacted to the lyrics separately it really gives you a greater understanding of the song im so happy thank you for your reaction!!!
Yoooooo pleeeaaaaase keep reacting to the lyrics like in this video. Without watching and understanding the lyrics you are really only scratching the surface. Big yes guys!!
Wildflower isn’t “bright and happy”, at most it’s uplifting but not happy. It’s more of a sad song. But I’m glad you’re beginning to look at lyrics because without them you’re missing a lot.
Please.... instead of insulting the intelligence of these new BTS AUSTRALIAN FANS, who are showing their appreciation of their talents, go ahead and EXPLAIN to them the lyrics that they are not properly understanding. They are NEW BTS FANS. As ARMY, I would think you would want to show them LOVE from ARMY, and try to kindly inform them the TRUE meaning of the song, instead of posting down right disrespectful words to them. I am American and I do not fully understand a lot of the lyrics, because a lot gets lost in translation, and there are a lot of phrases that I do not know the meaning within Korean culture. I am a mature woman and I think a lot of these posters are not. Please just help them out instead of insulting
Fun fact, This song is from his first ever mixtape "RM", despite not being released in any of the streaming services as Spotify, Apple, Amazon etc ( it was released on SoundCloud for free) "RM" debuted at #12th on Billboard Global Charts and named as one of the 50 best Hip-hop albums of the year in the US as solo artist RapMonster in 2015 way before BTS claimed global fame.
Lol. Finally, you are checking out the lyrics. You have no idea how many awesome diss tracks they have. You might want to check out their cyphers. That a diss series by the rap line (RM, Suga, JHope). Best to react to lyrics first then live performances of Cypher pt. 1, 2, 3, and 4. I cannot wait for you reaction.
Finally. Some lyrics reaction. Please listen to their song UGH! It's one of the best. BTS songs are so deep and impactful that I am happy that you guys will see and understand for yourselves.
It's centered around a K-Rapper named "Be Free" which ARMY pretty much with RM and Suga took down. The asswipes career never 'made it'. He called RM and Suga girls for wearing make-up on stage and all kinds of other smack which BF and some other underground rappers had the nerve to say to their faces on camera and in front of a live audeince. RM and Suga had professional responses and did not engage in sh*t slinging but clapped back with this song, Sugas Agust D and the Cyphers. Sprinkled in to some BTS songs are reference to this whom became a large part of the BTS " haters". If you watch Mic Drop you will see the haters in black robes falling from the sky on fire in the background which includes this group of rappers who not only hated on them but really hurt them. Subliminal things in all their videos!
@@jenniferrassart3054 Yes so namjoon savagely showed them that he can write a couple of random words that rhyme just like they do and he can rap those words faster than any of them could ever even dream to do. So basically he did what they claim to be the best at and effortlessly surpassed them all with his skills proving once again that he's the best✨️✨️
absolutely LOVE that you reacted to a lyric video as well. please do this with every video if possible!! most bts songs have some meaning behind them and its so rewarding to know what theyre saying. loved this reaction!!
In his 2015 interview with HIPHOPPLAYA, he said, “‘Joke’ is a song that I wrote the lyrics using stream of consciousness. That’s why the title is ‘Joke.’ There’s nothing hidden in the lyrics, and the song is 500% for the auditory pleasure. I felt a necessity of a song that refreshes the mood without any particular meaning since I’ve included messages and sentiments in other songs. I included what I think are the ‘skills’ of rapping.”
These are the notes that are included in the lyrics video (description box) 💞 all credits to them. 00:38 - ¹ Elastin is a Korean shampoo brand; “shampoo (I) gets rid of dandruff (you guys)” 00:50 - ² 턱걸이 (pull-up) in Korean has two meaning: (1) pull-up (an exercise), (2) barely succeeding at something; “make them do something challenging and watch them barely make it and fuck themselves up” 00:57 - ³ “Two different things with one mouth” is something that has been traditionally tabooed for men in Korea. There are even old sayings such as 남아일언중천금 (男兒一言重千金; a real guy’s one word carries the weight of a thousand pieces of gold). It is obviously an outcome of gender-biased prejudice, but is still widely used. Some would jokingly call a man who changes his word “a woman.” With that said, “girls call you unnie” because “you” said two different things from one mouth. “Since you spoke two different things with one mouth, you’re not a real man. So, I’m going to treat you as a woman, and those girls will call you unnie.” 01:00 - * Lee Kun-hee is the chairman of Samsung Group 01:06 - ⁴ Hongdae is an abbreviation of Hongik Daehakgyo (University) and also refers to the area nearby. Hongdae area is known for its indie music culture, clubs, arts, and so on. A lot of indie artists, including hiphop artists, hold their concerts, which are described in a derogatory manner as “Hongdae entertainment show”, in this area. ‘힙수니 (힙순이 = 힙합hiphop + 순이 soon-ee, a common female name in the past),’ which means hiphop fangirls, seems to be a counterattack to some rapper(s) who said that BTS is followed by 빠순이 (= 오빠 oppa + 순이 soon-ee). 빠순이 (pronounced as bbasooni) is a demeaning word referring to hardcore female fans of male celebrities. 01:09 - ⁵ 개폐인 can be broken in two ways: (1) 개/폐인 (廢人): a fucking wasted person, (2) 개폐 (開閉)/인: who/that is open and shut (given the previous sentence, ‘I open and close the door,’ this is an intended double-meaning) 01:19 - ⁶ “You can only talk dirty but I have an actual ability write lyrics.” ⁷ 5 gwang (five brights) is a way of collecting points in a Korean card game called Go-Stop or Hwatu (Hwatu is also the name of cards themselves). It’s similar to having four aces in poker. 01:22 - ** The last line ‘Six shots got me feelin’ 2pac’ is indeed taken from A$AP Rocky’s ‘Wild For The Night (ft. Skrillex, Birdy Nam Nam),’ ‘Six shots got me feelin’ like Pac.’ Six bullets, six snakes, and six shots might all refer to the other six members of BTS who empower RM. 01:29 - ⁸ 별거 can be interpreted in two ways: (1) a special thing, (2) separation (別居). A happily married couple would not separate, but the real message is “you don’t have anything special.” ⁹ 천상 여자 is a colloquial term (with the correct term being 천생 여자) referring to a woman with qualities or appearance traditionally associated with women: modest, quiet, kind, good at cooking, and so on. 01:45 - ¹° 촌장님 can be broken in two ways: (1) 촌장/님: head of a countryside village -nim, (2) 촌/장님: a blind person in the countryside ¹¹ He pronounces 혹 (hog) almost as 욕 (yog), which means swear word. 꼰대 is a slang word for an old man who is stuck with his own values (usually of the past) and tries to teach/govern young people’s behaviors. 족발(jokbal) is a traditional Korean dish consisting of pig’s feet cooked with soy sauce and spices. 01:57 - *** Reference: lyrics from Forever by Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Eminem; “Last name Ever-first name Greatest” 02:01 - ¹² 갑, which will be further explained later, can be used to refer to someone in a superior position. 깝 is a slang describing behaviors so energetic and overly enthusiastic to the extent that they’re almost annoying. 밥, meaning rice or food, can be used to describe someone who’s inferior or something that’s too easy. 짭 is a slang that means fake. 02:07 - ¹³ The first 적 (敵; jeog) means enemy, and the second 적 (籍; jeog) means somewhere one belongs to (or is registered under). While 적 까 is translated as ‘reveal where you belong,’ it’s noteworthy that 적 (jeog) and 좆 (jot; dick) sound similar. As explained in the previous line, 까 (original form: 까다) means to bare, which makes 적 까 sound similar to 좆 까 (bare your dick), which basically means to fuck yourself or fuck off. 02:14 - ¹⁴ 나가리 (nagari) is a Japanese-originated slang for being canceled or no longer considered as a valid option, and so on. 노가리 (nogari) is dried little Pollack that is often consumed as snack. 02:19 - ¹⁵ 노답 is a slang that combines ‘no’ and 답(dap; answer) and is used to describe a situation or a person where there is no answer/solution. 02:26 - ¹⁶ Here, OP interprets 갑질 as 갑 (best) + 질 (vagina), given that it follows ‘the best woman.’ 갑질 itself is a slang (with 질 meaning behavior or activity), which is widely-used in recent years due to improper power abuse of chaebols and the resulting social outrage. It means a behavior of a person in a superior position forcing another person in an inferior position to perform unreasonable requests. 02:29 - ¹⁷ 임 (im) itself means dear (lover). By replacing 갑 with 임, 갑질 becomes 임질, which essentially means gonorrhea. If we, however, stick to the word composition of 갑질, take 임 and 질 apart from each other, and interpret 임 as 임 (壬) in the천간 system and 질 as behavior/activity, 임질 becomes a behavior/activity of 임 (壬), which means someone who is sly and adulates his superiors. It’s also the second to last in the hierarchy order. 02:33 - ¹⁸ 자비 can be interpreted in two ways: (1) 자비 (慈悲): mercy, (2) 자비 (自費): one’s own expense. A jobless person would not be able to afford anything out of his own pocket, but the real message is “I don’t have any mercy for you.” 02:49 - **** Stitch is a title character of the Lilo & Stitch and is an illegal genetic experiment created by mad alien scientist.
Yes, RM used to stand for Rap Monster, but later, RM began to consider that his stage name RM currently identified more with Real Me so this is now its current meaning
“Wildflower” is NOT happy and bright. Please consider re-reacting to it and exploring the lyrics. I cried the first time I heard it…and the second…and the third. Finding out how he was actually feeling was heartbreaking at that time. The MV visuals are even emotional. You’ll gain so much more respect for BTS and the individual members once you start diving in to the lyrics and also watching explanation videos. As English speakers, we can’t grasp the depth of the lyrics, the word play or the cultural context without the help of a Korean. Plus, many of their songs and/or MVs are based on literature and psychological concepts or have social commentary. Some songs are fun, but most are very deep. Borahae💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
@@BtsyearJK2025My son (born 1994) does that too! In his videos people believe he speeds them up due to how fast he talks but that's just the way he speaks. He even finds others (normal talking) videos too slow so he speeds them up😅 too much brain must be tireing🤯😂
He didn't perform "Joke" but you can see early RM performing on stage during the All Force One concert (2015) where he performs some of his other work from around the time, like Monster, Do You and 버려. Yoongi and Hobi also join him on stage as his crew.
This song has some cool wordplay. Doolset explains the wordplay but I am very happy that you guys are looking at lyrics and doing a little research. That's what it's about. The name drops are homage to those he looks up to and the 6 bullets and snakes may represent the other members of BTS. As far as I know its is as you said a response to the rapper who called them out during an interview (shown in the Taylor Mari guide). I think he talks about him as well in another song. RM or Wildflower is not happy or bright. lol. There is always a ray of hope in there for better days but the song is about his struggles with loneliness and anxiety (read the comments section for that vid). Maybe read the lyrics to that. please.
RM wrote 'joke' with "meaningless' lyrics to prove his point that he could release a song with meaningless lyrics, following what the underground wrappers say a song should sound like, and it would be better than anything they could make. I recall this explanation somewhere in the BTS lore
I really love and appreciate your genuine interest and the thoughts you put into analyzing the songs. This is the reactions I want and not the fake ones from people just wanting to gain some popularity. Thank you 💜 and keep up the good work ^^
I recommend you check his latest album "rpwp" SO SO much, like it is sooo goooooood it was named as one of the best albums of 2024. All songs there r masterpieces.
Seriously RM is the Monster. Can never compare to Eminem seriously. He gives legit facts and about what they think about the Jealous Some who cannot accept his genius.
AAAAAHHAHAHAHAH.I was hoping you would watch Joke. There's a wonderful official MV subtitled marvellously, btw. Try to find it because it's worth it, it gives lots of context.
I absolutely LOVE how they went from titling their videos from "K-POP HATERS WATCH..." to "K-POP NEWBIES REACT..."🎉 WELCOME TO OUR HAPPY PLACE IN THE K-POP ZEITGEIST, GENTLEMEN!🎉🥳
It's interesting how you guys think their songs are happy and all about love, which some of them are. However, I recommend reading the lyrics of the songs you have reacted to so far and the ones you react to in the future, because they have some extremely deep and emotional lyrics. One of the main reasons BTS is so famous is because of their raw and unapologetic lyrics. Reading the lyrics will help you to understand their music more and see why they are such an influential group worldwide.
Joke is a song that is featured on Namjoon's first mixtape called "RM", even though this mixtape is not available on Spotify, I personally really like the way it sounds. Guys, you seem to be much more excited to watch BTS's individual work right now, so you should react to each of their albums separately and with the solo performances and not just the MVs. It would be great if you did a review of each album and in another video reacted to the performances of the songs (at least the ones that have performances) and also analyzed the lyrics, on UA-cam itself there are very good videos with just the lyrics of the songs that are reliable. It would be really great to see that ♥︎
Wildflower lyrics: when your feet don’t touch the ground, when your heart devours you, when your dreams are not your own, when you don’t feel like yourself, all those times. Wildflower seems bright and happy in the melody, but the lyrics are reflecting on RM not being able to be himself or even know who he is most of the time. I just watched the Right People, Wrong Place documentary, and the biggest takeaway was that RM wanted to find his true self and be free to express himself without ruining things for BTS and the fans.
Lmao that name is also very old hearing it for me nowadays too. So when they were saying it I was like “umm okay then” its okay but yeah it’s just RM 😂
idk why y'all are always surprised that each member actually has range and are not just one thing. They are multifaceted artists & it's kind of demeaning when you say things like "oh i didn't know (insert member) had it in him" , "i didn't think he could do that" or think you know their personality based off one song or mv. BTS has hundreds of songs on its own, not including solos, the rapline alone have multiple solo projects each and everything they put is so different from the last, you dont know any of this because you dont actually know bts, theyre music, or their actual personalities, & thats ok you've literally watched like a handful of vids & you havent even scratched the surface, so please stop the assumptions enjoy the music & maybe do some research on your own & dont just rely just on the comments to get all your info after the fact, i mean if you are genuinely interested in them. if you're not & you just wanna react that's fine too but then don't make assumptions about who they are or what you think tey can or can't do. thanks
Search on UA-cam for an interview with RM, Suga and a rapper called Be Free who basically was dissing the rap line of BTS and accusing them of not being “real rappers”. Suga and RM remained professional throughout the show but seriously clapped back through their music. Suga is an amazingly fast rapper and both he and RM have scorched Be Free through their lyrics 😂😂😂
DAMNNNNNNNNNN CRYINGGGG MY GODONESSSSSS THAT WAS SUCH A GOOD TAKE FROM YOU GUYS TO ACTUALLY DO LYRICS AS WELL! THANK YOU! DAMN OUR RM IS A LEGIT KING! WE WORSHIP THE GROUND HE WALKS ON. THAT MAN HAS BEEN THROUGH IT ALL AND DAMN JOKE WAS ACTUALLY MADE OF ALL LYRICS AND DISSES SO HE COULD COME BACK AT THOSE HATERS CALLING HIM A SHAME ON RAP MUSIC. HE CHANGED FLOWS, HE RAPPED NON STOP, HE SHOWED THEM HOW TO RAP AND THREW SHADE AT THEM ALSO SPEAKING OUR LYRICS THAT DONT REALLY MEAN LIKE A VERY MEANINGFUL THING. HE HAD THIS WORDPLAY ALONG ALL THOSE LInes😭😭😭😭😭😭😭❤❤❤
I’m so happy you went to some old school RM! (My fave is Do You 😊) I was so hoping you would. His styles vary so much album to album. So much talent. ❤️🇨🇦
Back in the days underground korean rappers used to say that the bts rap line weren't real rappers because they decided to become idols and started using makeup and etc, saying that it wasn't a part of real hiphop. In this song one of the parts that is my favorite is when he starts saying random words "bibidi babidi bubidi babidi" which is he mocking k-rappers that think they are good just because they use english in their songs and that they talk so full of themselves but don't have a good delivery in their rap.
In another universe Eminem stole RM’s rap lmao. But yeah this is why it’s a joke to hear other kpop groups with “rap lines” like no BTS has RAPPERS who molded into idols to get bigger not the opposite like every other kpop group
Guys, I’m glad you reacted to the lyrics as well. Please, keep doing that in the future! The lyrics are really important for all BTS songs. Like in Wildflower, that is not a happy and warm song, in reality is really deep and melancholy!
Bts was getting hate from every direction back then, and namjoon+yoongi got hit even worse because the underground rap scene turned on them. Imo this song wasnt directed at one specific person, but was more of a way of venting his frustrations in general by showing off. I always think about that video where Namjoon read hate comments about him and the only thing he said was that he'll show them. This song was kind of the rap equivalent of when someone in an anime battle starts using overwhelming power after being underestimated. It zeros in on the essence of rap- rhythm and poetry. Its built mainly to please the ears and show off his unrivaled word play ability. Rather than targeting a specific person, it builds up the character of rap monster as someone not to be messed with. Its definitely a fun song to listen to, but im also glad that BTS are in a place where they dont need to build walls to protect themselves as much any more. Afterall, when i joined ARMY the promise the fandom made to make bts untouchable also became my own mission. Thats why that line in butter, "got ARMY right behind us when we say so" is especially moving. Its hard to explain without seeing it how much more at ease and confident they have become. Namjoon's more recent work has focused more on showing off his more authentic self for example. I almost went off on a rant about how much i love Namjoon but I'll save it just this once. I must still have one last strand of self control left after all.
By the way, I think more people might read the good points in your postings if you added some "white space", like dropping down to the next line, skipping lines, and/or indenting . When paragraphs are too long and condensed, it is difficult to read through without straining to keep place, so people often just give up.
You gotta look up the lyrics and the "translation" of them. He isnt just rapping real fast and changing beat many times he is also king of wordplay and rhyming in korean and english simultaneously
RM-Rap Monster. He feels now it's RM- Real Me. He has matured and is more than just "Rap Monster." He played all the characters, guard, doctor, and patient.
Who says "Real Me"? When in the last few years has Namjoon or the other members ever called him that? That was a PR feeler at one time, but it never caught on.
They were relentlessly mocked by many different people & (other labels), especially the underground rap scene. This song was also a challenge. No one has answered the challenge. If you want to have an idea, XCeleste has a hardships video on BTS. It's shows a little of what they went through as a group & individually.

RM did initially stand for 'rap monster' but he's since changed the meaning to 'real me' so it's best to refer to him as rm and not rap monster
As he grew up he realised he didn't want to be "a monster".
It's also not real me anymore.

“Dachitdachitdachite Rrrrraaappo Monsta! 😆”
I’m glad y’all listened to the lyrics of this one. Saying Wildflower was a happy song showed y’all needed to 😂😂
bts rap line are incredibly good at getting the haters to shut up
Wildflower isn’t “bright and happy”, at most it’s uplifting but not happy. It’s more of a sad song. But I’m glad you’re beginning to look at lyrics because without them you’re missing a lot.
0:53 Wildflower? light and happy??? LIGHT? & HAPPY??? Blasphemous!!
They should've read the lyrics
The result of not reading lyrics :p
Please.... instead of insulting the intelligence of these new BTS AUSTRALIAN FANS, who are showing their appreciation of their talents, go ahead and EXPLAIN to them the lyrics that they are not properly understanding.
@houseofalex then EXPLAIN it to them. Don't be so rude
@@CurlyGirl-gsjno need to explain when they literally can read and understand the lyrics..
Omg yes!! THE CYPHERS! I'm waiting for cypher pt5 where they will address all the issues we had with everyone in chapter 2🙂↕️
And he also got backlash that he couldn't rap fast...
The irony in that rapper's stage name is hilarious💀
absolutely LOVE that you reacted to a lyric video as well. please do this with every video if possible!! most bts songs have some meaning behind them and its so rewarding to know what theyre saying. loved this reaction!!

They are amazing
These are the notes that are included in the lyrics video (description box) 💞 all credits to them.
00:38 - ¹ Elastin is a Korean shampoo brand; “shampoo (I) gets rid of dandruff (you guys)”
00:50 - ² 턱걸이 (pull-up) in Korean has two meaning: (1) pull-up (an exercise), (2) barely succeeding at something; “make them do something challenging and watch them barely make it and fuck themselves up”
00:57 - ³ “Two different things with one mouth” is something that has been traditionally tabooed for men in Korea. So, I’m going to treat you as a woman, and those girls will call you unnie.”
01:00 - * Lee Kun-hee is the chairman of Samsung Group
01:06 - ⁴ Hongdae is an abbreviation of Hongik Daehakgyo (University) and also refers to the area nearby.
01:09 - ⁵ 개폐인 can be broken in two ways: (1) 개/폐인 (廢人): a fucking wasted person, (2) 개폐 (開閉)/인: who/that is open and shut (given the previous sentence, ‘I open and close the door,’ this is an intended double-meaning)
01:19 - ⁶ “You can only talk dirty but I have an actual ability write lyrics.”
⁷ 5 gwang (five brights) is a way of collecting points in a Korean card game called Go-Stop or Hwatu (Hwatu is also the name of cards themselves).
A happily married couple would not separate, but the real message is “you don’t have anything special.”
⁹ 천상 여자 is a colloquial term (with the correct term being 천생 여자) referring to a woman with qualities or appearance traditionally associated with women: modest, quiet, kind, good at cooking, and so on.
01:45 - ¹° 촌장님 can be broken in two ways: (1) 촌장/님: head of a countryside village -nim, (2) 촌/장님: a blind person in the countryside
¹¹ He pronounces 혹 (hog) almost as 욕 (yog), which means swear word. 꼰대 is a slang word for an old man who is stuck with his own values (usually of the past) and tries to teach/govern young people’s behaviors. 족발(jokbal) is a traditional Korean dish consisting of pig’s feet cooked with soy sauce and spices.
01:57 - *** Reference: lyrics from Forever by Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Eminem; “Last name Ever-first name Greatest”
02:01 - ¹² 갑, which will be further explained later, can be used to refer to someone in a superior position.
A jobless person would not be able to afford anything out of his own pocket, but the real message is “I don’t have any mercy for you.”
02:49 - **** Stitch is a title character of the Lilo & Stitch and is an illegal genetic experiment created by mad alien scientist.
Thank you for this great interpretation.
Yes, thank you for all the time and energy put into this, not to intense information you just shared. 👏👏👏
UPP!! THANK YOU❤
BRO TY FOR THIS DETAILED BREAK DOWN ILYSM❤
yo i have massive respect for you for writing all this down. i hope they give it a read
Rm of the old testament was few ideas🫦
Yes, RM used to stand for Rap Monster, but later, RM began to consider that his stage name RM currently identified more with Real Me so this is now its current meaning
I don't think "Real Me" has ever been current. I think it was a PR attempt that never caught on.
If you want more of this side of RM, take a look to ‘do you’ or 'monster'
PLEASE CHECK THE LYRICS WITH EVERY SONG, it’s so entertaining and you actually need it to understand bts’s artistry
Jungkook TIMES SQUARE
Yes please
Did they but claim that Wildflower be a song most bright and merry, or doth mine ear deceive me?
Namjoon always speaks so fast, I often don't even have time to read the subtitles
Yes and he said it himself I'm rapper that's why 😂😂😂 man speaks like someone is rushing him
@@BtsyearJK2025My son (born 1994) does that too! In his videos people believe he speeds them up due to how fast he talks but that's just the way he speaks. He even finds others (normal talking) videos too slow so he speeds them up😅 too much brain must be tireing🤯😂
Wildflower ' happy and bright '!!!!...broo that's why u should also focus on the lyrics...
Finally you are focusing on the real jam THE LYRICS
so happy to see you looking so indepth into the lyrics for this one also glad you're enjoying how hard hes going hahaha
They’ve had plenty of haters and they always fire back, particularly the rap line.
Maybe read the lyrics to that. please.
That's why u should always read the lyrics it's that important it will explain the mv better.
Thank you 💜 and keep up the good work ^^
RM really is the best Koran rapper
rapping and lyrics wise 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I even feel like wearing sunglasses because I feel proud of our BTS leader 😎
I recommend you check his latest album "rpwp" SO SO much, like it is sooo goooooood it was named as one of the best albums of 2024. All songs there r masterpieces.
Missing out on seriously high tier album if you don't listen to RPWP! It will take you on a mind blowing journey, no joke
Seriously RM is the Monster. Can never compare to Eminem seriously. He gives legit facts and about what they think about the Jealous Some who cannot accept his genius.
I never appreciate RAP before I discovered BTS of Rapline❤ I specially love Cypher 2 & 4 , UGH, Ddaeng, joke, change, Trivia:Love, Hope world... etc
Wild flowers is not bright at all ! I cried so much and still do, every time I hear it.
It's like they forgot everything they learned on the BTS Guide. 😂 (Ben - "Is his name Rap Monster?")
Bro them calling wildflower bright and happy 😂🫠
the hottest thing about this song is that RM left the beat open at the end.......no one has dared respond to it. ever.
Wait did i just hear... that wild flower is a LIGHT and HAPPY song!!!
It would be really great to see that ♥︎
Thats why he is known as Rrrrappppmonsterrrrrr..... BTS is BTS no one can replace them...each of them play equal role...if 7-1=0...
This song is like that you are not the one who raps, but your breath is taken away just by listening to it🔥
This style of rap isn’t my personal cup of tea but it showcases how insane RMs rapping and lyricism is. I love how versatile he is as an artist
There's a reason why famous rappers get scared to compete against RM . He's my bias for a reason ❤
I forgot rap monster was in the title, i was like, "what yall knolw about rap monster🗣" lol
BTS has hundreds of songs on its own, not including solos, the rapline alone have multiple solo projects each and everything they put is so different from the last, you dont know any of this because you dont actually know bts, theyre music, or their actual personalities, & thats ok you've literally watched like a handful of vids & you havent even scratched the surface, so please stop the assumptions enjoy the music & maybe do some research on your own & dont just rely just on the comments to get all your info after the fact, i mean if you are genuinely interested in them. if you're not & you just wanna react that's fine too but then don't make assumptions about who they are or what you think tey can or can't do. thanks
This song is insane! And thanks so much for reacting to the lyrics! Means a lot! 💜
RM is all about the lyrics.
DAMNNNNNNNNNN CRYINGGGG
MY GODONESSSSSS THAT WAS SUCH A GOOD TAKE FROM YOU GUYS TO ACTUALLY DO LYRICS AS WELL! THANK YOU!
DAMN
OUR RM IS A LEGIT KING!
So glad you looked up the lyrics and tried to understand their context. They can change the perception of a song completely.
you guys should start to watch their run bts (their own variety show)!! it’s really fun to watch and u will definitely see their personality💞💞
I’m so happy you went to some old school RM! (My fave is Do You 😊) I was so hoping you would. His styles vary so much album to album. So much talent. ❤️🇨🇦
I think it would be cool to watch the MV and then a lyric video for all the songs.
Wildflower "light and happy"???? No, it's definitely not.
This is RM version of agust d.. it's a diss track towards them rappers who called them girls and sugar for being idol rappers
In another universe Eminem stole RM’s rap lmao. But yeah this is why it’s a joke to hear other kpop groups with “rap lines” like no BTS has RAPPERS who molded into idols to get bigger not the opposite like every other kpop group
yo RM is THAT GUY. that's why armys and the members really respect and appreciate him
I highly recommend you to go back and read lyrics of wildflower. Its criminal to miss out on that and calling that bright and happy
Love it that now it's "Kpop newbies" and not "Kpop haters" anymore ❤❤❤🎉
That's my BIAS!!!
The other boys always my bias wrecker, but my heart still goes back to RM! 💜💙
Guys, I’m glad you reacted to the lyrics as well. Please, keep doing that in the future! The lyrics are really important for all BTS songs. Like in Wildflower, that is not a happy and warm song, in reality is really deep and melancholy!
UGH and cypher part 3: killer performance Busan.
I just realized you changed HATERS to NEWBIES and that feels so amazing
I love how respectful and filled with awe your reactions are
Congrats on the good work and thanks !
Finallyyyyyyyy you did check the lyrics i'm crying 😭😭😭😭😭
Rapmon is one of the best artist in the world... he's incredible...his song is so deep nd meaningful...we luv u
Bro unlocked every rap flow existing in the world in just one song
BTS not only sings bright and happy songs... they really do sad and dark songs as well. They are mainly known for their lyrics and choreo....
Exactly I'm waiting for this. This is the best mv to introduce RM in my opinion.
VOICE song from RM is another amazing song where we can appreciate a more calm deep voice from him, but amazing lyrics. My fav.😊
Waited so long for this
Bts was getting hate from every direction back then, and namjoon+yoongi got hit even worse because the underground rap scene turned on them.
AnonUnlimited, ". Its hard to explain without seeing it how much more at ease and confident they have become. "
Oh i should have waited with comments 😂
How does he do that??? Well, he was an underground rapper and he is a genius, do the math he is no joke. See what I did there... lol
RM-Rap Monster. He feels now it's RM- Real Me. He has matured and is more than just "Rap Monster."
He played all the characters, guard, doctor, and patient.
