The pressure on RM as the leader is unimaginable. He takes that role very seriously and has a lot of creative control over the whole ship, writing most of BTS' lyrics, and protecting the team. Huge, huge respect for Namjoon. Oh - and Youjeen was the singer for indie rock band Cherry Filter, heyday in the late 90s - he wanted her vocal power in particular for this song.

Namjoon struggling dealing with fame and all its trappings, trying not to lose sight of himself while the whole world watches his every move. The fireworks/wild flower/flower work lyric actually came from his post back in 2017 titled 불꽃놀이the Korean title of "Wild Flower," which rhymes with (firework). He said, "Perhaps in our lives we need wild flowers [ 들꽃; deulkkot]-rather than flames [불꽃; bulkkot] or cherry blossoms [ 벚꽃; beotkkot]- in bloom, tranquilly." It's flower work because wildflowers are like fire works, they spread through the field just like how fireworks spread through the sky except Namjoon is saying he wants to live as a calm wildflower rather than a flashy quickly disappearing firework. So instead of living like fire flowers that is brilliant but would quickly disappear, namjoon would like to live more like wildflowers that are calm and tranquil. He used 불꽃 wordplay in prev work too Him wanting a life like a tranquil wild flower instead of a flashy firework that is quick to burn out. He always paints such a personal and powerful image.
Not to love BTS is not to know them. Once you really know them, you love them. Every member is unique in their own way (it shows in their personality & music). This makes BTS the perfect group.
Indeed, they are all individuals and they want to express themselves even more in their solo works. RM, Suga, J-hope wrote many songs for BTS, so they are more experienced than Jin, V, Jimin or Jungkook. They all go in different directions and even when they are doing their second solo albums (not counting the mixtapes), you don't know what to expect; they might be completely different than the previous one. All 7 are very talented and unique and do fantastic solos, but they are incredible together as BTS, which is one goddamn miracle in this world. When this song came out, it solidified RM as my bias. Hence my user name. I literally broke down ugly crying. And cried for 2 weeks. Perhaps I’m going through similar emotions but I didn’t know how to express those feelings, and RM just put all my feelings into poetry and expressed it with beautiful words, visuals, and music. Everything about this mv just grabs your soul. I’m not a crier too. I’m the type that always has to show strength as I’m a leader too. All my acquaintances think it’s weird I’m stanning a poppy kpop boyband because I’m a realist and mature and usually the leader in my family and friend groups. If only they are willing to spend a little bit of time to understand the members without prejudice, they would know that BTS is so much more than that. They are intellectuals and inspirational

RM is a great reminder that what we see in the mainstream isn't all there is. Rap has always had the potential for beauty and it's the perfect genre for soul searching and sharing both your struggles and wins. We dont celebrate the rappers that give us depth and touch our lives nearly enough. Which is a shame because people only elevate to pop rappers (who have their place and importance too) then use that to paint rap as one dimentional and not worthy of respect. Every style of rap has its role to play and I wish more people could see what lyricists can really bring to the table if given a shot. And RM is a poet at heart and it shows. Oh and yes the fireworks were real. He got burnt a bit during the filming but he got to see his vision come through so he was okay with it. There are behind the scenes footage of the MV where you also get to see more of the traditional Korean fireworks that falls downward like flower petals. It was such a perfect visual for the idea of "flowerworks" (i.e. the compromise of a wildflower [RM] who lives the life of a firework [BTS] and trying to be both and find balance in life even though he's the nature lover who likes the quiet and doesn't feel as comfortable being the juggernaut megastar that he is).
Yeah so many people think they may just have some song with good rhythm, beats, but when you know the lyrics it hits different such a master piece his depth in lyrics writting and composing and producing that is why he is called the best lyricist 💜
I genuinely love RM as a person and as an artist. His and BTS' music always hits deep. They really create incredible art that gets you emotionally and mentally vulnerable but also gives you strength. And I love them so much 💜
Indigo is a masterpiece, the songs in this album speaks to your soul. I don't know if y'all can do a reaction for all the songs, I really recommend the album and reading the lyrics just for yourselves it's such a comforting and creative work.
ACTUALLY their group songs are just as meaningful 😊 the albums have concepts. The album WINGS is heavily influenced by the book Demian, and explores the temptations, sorrows and pleasures of youth. And they have 2 albums (Map of the Soul) based on CARL JUNG'S THEORY. They are actually quite deep for being a 'kpop' group.

Everytime I watch RM sing this song I get teary, I just can't help it. When you have watched his live chat vlogs when he talks about himself and what he is going through in his life, it comes out in his music. It always hits differently after that. One day I recommend watching some of the members live chats or their Behind the scenes making of the MV etc on BangtanTV and their variety show RUNBTS that's where you find so much more about them and their personalites. A little correction though BTS aren't only deep with their solo stuff they've literally been deep and meaningful with their lyrics since day one talking about things like societal expectations from youth, self-love and mental health. What he wanted to say with this wordplay is that rather than burning brilliantly but for a short time like fireworks do, he wanted to stay in bloom for a long time, resiliently and in a way that's less flashy but no less comforting to those who look upon him like people noticing wildflowers blooming on the side of the road

I swear i am not even exaggerating like i got chills all over my body multiple times even though i have the mv like hunderds of times . If comfort is the person then its definitely namjoon . His albums are my top fav especially his album- Mono is like a hug for me and millions of armys . A little fun fact : 95% of the music catalog of bts is cowritten by RM . He is the core of bts’s lyricism . Actually about what you said about their group songs being pop is kind of true ,and kind of not ,because 95% of their discography is about real life stuff and messages that they wanna put out .
I like watching people reacting to BTS and really getting it. A lot of people so obviously don't and just do it for the views. One of the things I've liked the most about their solo work is there is something that covers pretty much any mood I'm in, they are so versatile.

Namjoon and his lyrics are so meaningful and healing. His first solo album "Indigo" with title track wildflower is so comforting. Also he has just released his second solo album " Right Place Wrong Person" which is a whole different from indigo. I would recommend it.

Oh boy there are a lot of deep BTS songs way before each member's mixtape and official solo project. Even within BTS albums, there are solo songs. Some deeply meaningful songs are Whalien 52, Sea, Path (Road), 134340, Love Yourself Answer, Love Yourself Tear, Butterfly, Spring Day, Magic Shop, We Are Bulletproof (Eternal), Young Forever, The Truth Untold, House of Cards, Life Goes On etc Jin's Awake, Abyss, Tonight are beautiful too.... Jin wrote Epiphany and the songs I've mentioned. Jungkook has written meaningful songs for BTS too. He chose to receive /select songs from other songwriters for his first official album Golden. Just so much incredible BTS music...

JK spoke about his solo work during his newest travel show with Jimin. He did in fact say that he doesn't have a lot going on with himself to be able to write personal lyrics. He said that his end goal is to write music for himself, but for now he is content with showing the world what he can do with his voice in various types of songs. JK has written some songs with substance though, these songs are heartfelt dedications to ARMY. Still With You, in my opinion, is his best song to date. RM was pushing for the members to do solo work, because for him as a writer he was carrying a lot on his shoulders in being the voice for the group, he didn't really feel he had the freedom to fully express his own opinions. But also its a way for the less experienced members to gain their own perspective and style. BTS chapter 2 is all about individual growth in order to create a group dynamic where each member can contribute to the whole BTS story.

The fireworks/wild flower/flower work lyric actually came from his post back in 2017 titled 불꽃놀이the Korean title of "Wild Flower," which rhymes with (firework). He said, "Perhaps in our lives we need wild flowers [ 들꽃; deulkkot]-rather than flames [불꽃; bulkkot] or cherry blossoms [ 벚꽃; beotkkot]- in bloom, tranquilly."
It's flower work because wildflowers are like fire works, they spread through the field just like how fireworks spread through the sky except Namjoon is saying he wants to live as a calm wildflower rather than a flashy quickly disappearing firework. So instead of living like fire flowers that is brilliant but would quickly disappear, namjoon would like to live more like wildflowers that are calm and tranquil. He used 불꽃 wordplay in prev work too

Indeed, they are all individuals and they want to express themselves even more in their solo works. RM, Suga, J-hope wrote many songs for BTS, so they are more experienced than Jin, V, Jimin or Jungkook. They all go in different directions and even when they are doing their second solo albums (not counting the mixtapes), you don't know what to expect; they might be completely different than the previous one. All 7 are very talented and unique and do fantastic solos, but they are incredible together as BTS, which is one goddamn miracle in this world. When this song came out, it solidified RM as my bias. Hence my user name. I literally broke down ugly crying. And cried for 2 weeks. Perhaps I’m going through similar emotions but I didn’t know how to express those feelings, and RM just put all my feelings into poetry and expressed it with beautiful words, visuals, and music. Everything about this mv just grabs your soul. I’m not a crier too. I’m the type that always has to show strength as I’m a leader too. All my acquaintances think it’s weird I’m stanning a poppy kpop boyband because I’m a realist and mature and usually the leader in my family and friend groups. RM is a great reminder that what we see in the mainstream isn't all there is. Rap has always had the potential for beauty and it's the perfect genre for soul searching and sharing both your struggles and wins. We dont celebrate the rappers that give us depth and touch our lives nearly enough. Which is a shame because people only elevate to pop rappers (who have their place and importance too) then use that to paint rap as one dimentional and not worthy of respect. Every style of rap has its role to play and I wish more people could see what lyricists can really bring to the table if given a shot. And RM is a poet at heart and it shows.
Oh and yes the fireworks were real. He got burnt a bit during the filming but he got to see his vision come through so he was okay with it. There are behind the scenes footage of the MV where you also get to see more of the traditional Korean fireworks that falls downward like flower petals. It was such a perfect visual for the idea of "flowerworks" (i.e. the compromise of a wildflower [RM] who lives the life of a firework [BTS] and trying to be both and find balance in life even though he's the nature lover who likes the quiet and doesn't feel as comfortable being the juggernaut megastar that he is).
Yeah so many people think they may just have some song with good rhythm, beats, but when you know the lyrics it hits different such a master piece his depth in lyrics writting and composing and producing that is why he is called the best lyricist 💜

When you have watched his live chat vlogs when he talks about himself and what he is going through in his life, it comes out in his music. It always hits differently after that. The Korean word for fireworks is 불꽃놀이 (bul-kkeot-neori) but Namjoon named the song 뜰꽃놀이 (ddeul-kkeot-neori) which isn't an official word that exists but is a combo of fireworks and 뜰꽃 (ddeul-kkeot) wild flower. What he wanted to say with this wordplay is that rather than burning brilliantly but for a short time like fireworks do, he wanted to stay in bloom for a long time, resiliently and in a way that's less flashy but no less comforting to those who look upon him like people noticing wildflowers blooming on the side of the road

Namjoon and his lyrics are so meaningful and healing. His first solo album "Indigo" with title track wildflower is so comforting. Also he has just released his second solo album " Right Place Wrong Person" which is a whole different from indigo. I would recommend it.

Some deeply meaningful songs are Whalien 52, Sea, Path (Road), 134340, Love Yourself Answer, Love Yourself Tear, Butterfly, Spring Day, Magic Shop, We Are Bulletproof (Eternal), Young Forever, The Truth Untold, House of Cards, Life Goes On etc

Wildflower is the title song of his album ' Indigo' in which he conveys the thoughts and feelings he feels. It is truly a masterpiece. Please listen to the album from top to bottom for better understanding
JK spoke about his solo work during his newest travel show with Jimin. He did in fact say that he doesn't have a lot going on with himself to be able to write personal lyrics. He said that his end goal is to write music for himself, but for now he is content with showing the world what he can do with his voice in various types of songs. JK has written some songs with substance though, these songs are heartfelt dedications to ARMY. Still With You, in my opinion, is his best song to date.
RM was pushing for the members to do solo work, because for him as a writer he was carrying a lot on his shoulders in being the voice for the group, he didn't really feel he had the freedom to fully express his own opinions. But also its a way for the less experienced members to gain their own perspective and style. BTS chapter 2 is all about individual growth in order to create a group dynamic where each member can contribute to the whole BTS story.
