Jesus, ev's are supposed to be their own version of uniqueness, not trying to mimic ICE. Thats just like Nissans CVT transmissions simulating gear shifts when it should be constant acceleration.
why not just use electric engine yet still use the gearboxes? the only thing that's gone is the sound, but the rest is fine. this manufacturers are weird.
I don't get why electric car manufacturers are trying so hard to emulate gas cars. Maybe for familiarity to make electric cars seem more familiar to drive. but at that point, why not just stick to a regular gas-powered vehicle?
I have been driving manual transmissions since 1973. They are necessary to achieve driving satisfaction and are more safe. If Hyundai could slap a manual into an EV I would finally be able to make the switch.

You can turn this off and have it in normal mode too. So it's optional
