you wanna see it through my eyes
so i'm coming through
but i've never seen a ground so hollow
haunted by a chemical compulsion
when i know that there are options
i wanna see it through god’s eye
but hate brews in me so easy
i know you want it
you glued to me so easy
sulfur surrounding
it puts you away
i had to see it through your eyes
so i'm coming back
to corrode the chords that communicate the feeling
you wanna see it through my eyes
but your body is blue
it shouldn't be so easy.
i know you want it
you glued to me so easy
sulfur surrounding
it drags you through hell
take me over
i know you want it
you glued to me so easy
but now you've got it
it proved to be so easy
sulfur surrounding
it puts you away

the bowling alley screen when you get a strike
lol i laughed through the whole video after reading this
I laughed at this
I don't get it
I laughed unbelievably hard
You win lmao
Underneath is sick af. Im so happy Reba has more vocals now, such a great singer.
That was the coolest PS2 cutscene EVER. Well done Shade!
Code Orange is seriously one of the most creatively versatile bands around right now. I don't think we're ready for this album. It's gonna be awesome.
Ye
Was this from a game?
@@aSandwich.13 no
Ah okay, so "PS2 cut scene" was a descriptive phrase
More like PS3 early days
Code Orange sounds to me at 27, what I remember nu-metal sounding like as a 10 year old.
The video helps with that feeling
i am 26 and i absolutely share the same sentiment, carry on then
They sound to me at 53 what early Metallica/Bay Area thrash sounded like. Sound you just can’t get out head. Great Band
I’m feeling it rn at age 17 !!!
@Gareth I’m not comparing bands. Just the feeling from really appreciating what the music does(Feeling). I can name the exact spot I heard both bands for first time. 🤓
Definitely getting some late 90s to early 2000s vibe from this
we need more korn / Tool reminiscent occult animated music videos like back in the days 🙌🏼😅
Rebas got a grunge vibe
No you’re not just stop.
T R U T H no
@Andy Venual Music is subjective guy
Shiny guy : Let's walk into that burning door
8-pack girl : Nope

All the songs have been so different so far, yet I feel like I get where this album is going. This is quite great
I can’t believe I live in a time where Code Orange can write sick ballads
Did you miss bleeding in the blur because that song still slaps.
Cursed Chris hell ya but bleeding in the blur isn’t a ballad tho, or at least I wouldn’t consider it one
@@trippler786 okay I feel that as compared to this.
This isn't a ballad lmao
@@kaboose111 so what genre is this?
This track is simply incredible. so many different influences and so much freshness. One of your best songs ever, fantastic production!
The Suckerz [Daniele Montesi] vero
Nick Raskulinecz is the producer, not surprised the production is fantastic :D
Grande Daniele!!
is this your first time listening to music
lo sapevo che ti avrei trovato pure qui
DUDE THIS IS INSTANT CHILLS WHEN THE VOCALS KICK IN
EXACTLY!!!!
3:35 Everybody gangsta until the chosen undead gets the chainsaw...
And I oop
Dont you dare go hollow
Code Orange have really cemented their own unique sound. Damn, what a journey
this is literally a combo of every nu metal band
Lmao then you haven’t heard them much.
yooo this new season of Attack on titan looks weird
I WHEEZED
Reba is fantastic on this track
Better than she's ever sounded!
@Sic Anarchist whisper scream boy💀
@Sic Anarchist i'm fucking dead
She's great
@Sic Anarchist yes i would buy an album of only her vocals
How does it sound both from the 90s and yet completely original at the same time?
Ha! Funny seeing you here.
smut noir my man!
it doesn't sound like either of those things. at all. maybe 1999 at best.
Reba has such a perfect voice for dark tracks like this.
Dopest song of 2020.
After first hearing it through the context of the album less than an hour ago, I had to pause it halfway through since it felt overwhelming just how good this song was. Code Orange has made something truly special here...
this is giving me maaaaad tool vibes, like the weird animation to the guitar coming in in the beginning. i realllllllllly dig this and im even more stoked for this album. didnt think that was possible lmao
Jariah Messiah yes !!!
Nice video. The metal man really goes through some visually stimulating scenarios
Imagine being at one of their shows when this new album comes out.
The ending buildup starts and they hold onto it for an extra few seconds before that final breakdown hits.
Judgment day comes, the ground cracks and the venue falls down the rabbit hole.
I will be for the album release show on the 14th😍😍🤗🤗
Ill be at the album release party this weekend. Im expecting an absolute banger of a show.
What breakdown?
You know the "you wanna see it through my eyes" line is a callback to dream2
Bryant Meadows i love how they be frequently self-referencing
@@jacquelinemarietumminello9800 I do too, it's like the next chapter in a book.
Bryant Meadows I’m new to this band after discovering them by this song which is now my new favorite song. May I please have some context or backstory?
@@Soft7y Okay so on their "I Am King" album, there is a song called Dreams In Inertia, then on their "Forever" there is a song that's kinda like a sequal called "dream2" and dream2 had a line where it said "you wanna see it through my eyes?" And now it is in this one too but the lines different from the songs are showing different meanings, as like a next part to something. A lot of the lyrics on this album is meant to be about the music industry according to a few interviews I've seen on this album, here's one of them www.kerrang.com/features/code-oranges-track-by-track-guide-underneath/
SoftlyX the more you listen the more you'll learn about! Same with The Easy Way on this album, it's kind of a sequel/response to Only One Way (a single put out years ago). I'd also recommend checking out their Code Orange Kids stuff!!! Love is Love is an amazing album
Love how I accidentally clicked on one of their songs about a month ago and now I'm hooked on code orange
Many bands wish they could sound this original.
So many details that set them miles apart form most 🤟
Nice grunge influences on this one.
It's an overall nice rock song and I really dig how diverse this record is turning out to be.
Big up Code Orange fam!
@@RuptionShine yup, this song in particular is a rock song and there's nothing wrong with that. Rock isn't bad. Yes, rock isn't hardcore or beatdown, like rest of Code Orange, but, in this case, it's pretty solid.
@@RuptionShine so maybe you should switch from metal to rock and educate yourself on the subject a little better.
@@RuptionShine so maybe it's time to question your definitions of genres.
My dude Ruption Shine has a point. The song does not have a breakdown that's in your face, but it has the screams, the darkness, the heavy riffs like 3:35. It has a more melodic tone like a ballad, but you cannot call this simple rock man
Crono Logía there are many shades of rock. Rock can be tough as well.
Ain’t going to lie Corey Taylor did an interview earlier this year about the future of metal and he mentioned code orange and I gave them a listen and was like okay maybe. About a month later they released this album and I am guessing he had already known the impact it would make. I dig this shit and I can even hear influences from 90s and 2000s. This band makes me feel like my generation has a chance. \m/
Great track, love the melodic vibe of this one, it'll be one of the best metal albums of the year
i love how this continues from the rabbit whole music video!
How many Easter Eggs do you want in the video?
Code Orange: Yes
Like what? New fan here
@@katz9853 3:36 Yowee wowwe from BRAY WYATT
This song and autumn and carbine had me vibing back when this album came out. Was going through a tough time so I appreciated the soul coming through clutch. Through this you gained a life long fan. I also like the older stuff. :)
"I had a dream I married my crush"
My Dream:
LOVE THIS BAND. THIS ALBUM WILL BE A CLASSIC.
Those natural harmonics in the chorus are P E R F E C T
These guys are on something else. Need that fucking album right now.
Bro this gave me chills ngl
I hear some adventures in this
I'm not a huge fan of grunge, alt rock, hardcore, or industrial music.....but for some reason I love this band and this album is blowing my mind. I'm not a NIN fan, but the way Code Orange use their influences to create something different and unique is why critics and people love them. A lot of bands blend genres and use elements of others, but not many can use it to create something new and that is why this band is great.
I recommend checking out NIN. Downward Spiral specifically. Cheers.
Getting nothing but 2020s vibes from this.
Never heard of these guys ,but i like
This album is so wholesome
I Like all songs when Reba's took over the vocals
one of the best choruses ive heard in years
Loving the lyrical reference to Dreams2
I haven’t been this excited for an album in so long
this album is gonna change absolutely everything
how?
@@fgimlif9494 people have ALWAYS bitten C.O's style, and no other band in "mainstream" metal have been really pushing it as far as they can, to go from I AM KING to this in 6 years and it still sound incredibly fresh and tasteful, isn't easy.
@@FinnOBryan I like your train of thought, *Finn O'boyo!*
@@FinnOBryan cool
Cats, dogs, living together.
Glad to see you guys going more exprimental and glitchy for this new album. Keeps it up.
This song is a constant for me rn. Absolutely amazing job guys. The entire album us insanely good
Everything about this video is perfect mannn I love this whole weird liquid sci-fi aesthetic their new videos have
From the released tracks, this might be their most diverse album so far... and im diggin it !
The imagery this band has been experimenting with is so good
I’ve been listening to this on repeat for the past week. It’s so good!
This is great, perfect balance where if you take a step sideways it becomes cheesy, yet they never do. Whole album is fresh.
This is such a great song. I had huge expectations and they delivered.
I'd love to hear an acoustic version of this.
Code orange are game changers.
The music video looks like a college student's end of year blender project but in a good unique way qnd the music is amazing!!
minute in , i am gonna cry i am sorry , you guys are too much , this is too beautiful the last track was destructive and the one before .... dear god , i already love this album , i can't wait I can't wait , i love this
Code Orange is the new Tool for the 2020’s. Totally playing by their own rules, uncompromising, and amazing.
This comment is painfully on point, for the exact opposite reason you stated here.
Not Tool. Dillinger Escape Plan! Reba Myers fills the gap that Greg Puciato left beautifully!
Best single yet
I am so looking forward to this album. Such an amazing dynamic supply of eargasmic bangers.
man i love code orange
Their sound is really evolving wow
What ever music genre you are doing, you are doing it better day by day, love to see a band progress and don’t get stuck in a genre and evolve personally thru art
ive never been this fucking excited about a new album
Loving the new songs, very different and distinct.
Really excited for this album.
one more band u never could define which genre it belong to
hall of fame will be a must!
The voice of Reba is sublime! Her tone change in this amazing song! Hey guys come to southamerica. Cheers from Chile
I would love to see them coming to Brazil one day as well 🇧🇷
Production on this is pure fire
Big ups liquid Richard
Geddy Lee's Owl Nose This is the last username I expected to see on a Code Orange video. Nice.
LOOK HERE
Songs are sounding dope. Excited for the new album.
The feels are...... goosebumps.. feel this in my soul.
Love the VIBE 👀😭💜
I truly appreciate that they put any song they think sounds good on their albums.
It's painful when bands feel like they are putting out songs that "fit" into what they think the public wants their niche to be. Whether the song is actually good or not.
Nice, these guys are just getting better and better
This. This is fucking incredible.
The first minute of this song is somethin else
this new episode of Reboot is sick
8 people understand this reference.
Og toonami
I am happy to know someone else knows about Reboot.
This is sheer brilliance
I saw yall for the first time at Knotfest.....damn!!!! Awesome!!!!!
I got about a minute into this song and I was thinking "Code Orange are REALLY experimenting with their music now" Forgetting that I was looking at a guitar lesson for Bones exposed last night and put my computer on sleep, I had the video on half speed :')
I just tried this and it's like a whole new song. I wonder if this is how My Dying Bride compose everything.
This is album of the year for sure
Code Orange hates epileptics
Absolutely game changing track
Cool take on the Silver Surfer.
Love how they their hardcore songs and their radio songs that sound like 90s grunge
3:38 me when I play Doom
Fave song on the album maybe
How this ain't got 1million views yet..
The video is honestly so good
Bloody awesome track 👏🏽
Reba is so talented. Will always love her vocals
Dudes matured quickly talent DUDES
In love with the early 2000s flavor CGI
this band is amazing
it’s slowly setting in that this band is going to change heavy music.
//pariah Lol
lmfao
Fml what kind of bubble you live in?
What’s up with everyone saying this? I’m not knocking the band, they’re good, but why all the talk about them changing the scene? I’ve seen people say they’re the next SlipKnot and I’m like idk about that one lol.
oh Brucey it’s never fun being late to the party
Legit my favorite song atm.
Ghost in the Titan: Orange Revision
Well what a way to start the day. Thanks! And now I'm convinced Code Orange is the new black
I can't believe shade did all this himself!!!!! amazing talent his band!!!!
