    The intro is such fun to play. The little diddy on the Am is a treat.

      one of my favorite things about PJ is that out of thousands of options, people have exact favorite performances of songs :)

    Awesome! I've always played it with a capo on 4 but could never get the intro to sound like the very beginning of the studio version. This version is cool to play too and seems like you got that chunky intro from the record down. What are your thoughts on this way versus capo on 4. I think I've seen Stone use a capo on some videos.

    • @RyanLendt
      @RyanLendt  6 років тому

      well yeah, I'm watching the live performances and it seems he's got his guitar tuned funny and with a capo on the 4th fret, because how else would he put his finger on (Relative the capo) fret 3 and achieve a G# bass note? More research needs to be done there, and I'll probably revisit it someday :) I would just need to spend more time than I have now on that problem. And I can't wait to.

      I think the studio version is different from the way Stone plays it live now. At least the very beginning. That's my non-professional opinion.

      I think we have to ask Stone. I'll ask him for you when he comes to my sleepover I'm hosting

    Does Stone play a 410? I know he typically plays a Taylor.

    • @RyanLendt
      @RyanLendt  6 років тому

      i bet stone has lots and lots and lots of taylors :) I bet there's a decent chance one of them is a 410 - it's not the fanciest of the fancy... after the 4 line they start getting a little too fancy for my tastes with too many shiny things stuck to them
