In this quest , At the first time back to the camp after you found Liloupar (The time you play TCG with Azariq) , Before the dialogue if you scan Jeht with Nahida , You'll find that she basically scream "Notice me senpai" inside . Reflecting that she was upset when Liloupar talking intimately to Lumine early , Turns out she was not offended by Liloupar at all , She just jealous that Liloupar could call Lumine princess .
In the spanish translation Yeht (Jeht) says "Aunque ... Me gustes" which is "even tho ... I like you", ahhhhhh I love it, Jeht is my favourite NPC so far, she is strong and badass

I'd like to think that's because as a mercenary girl, Jeht didn't get along that much with other girls. Yes there are eremite girls but Jeht was always with her dad, and unlike the eremite dudes, eremite girls don't seem to like hang out with each other. Plus the fact that Azariq said that Jeht liked to be around the ladies more implies that she wanted a girl friend, but because the ladies are eremite mercenaries, they're probably not that girlie. But when Lumine becomes part of her life, she found a true friend that is also a girl.

It's beautiful, and I love it, but it does feel like it's typical Hoyoverse, throw in plenty of lines and animations that can be interpreted as gay, but with just enough ambiguity that they can deny it if pressed. But this seems more direct than most (tho Ninguang and Beidou at last year's Lantern Rite was pretty direct as well). I do love Jeht a lot, tho. I hope she shows up again and they give her more of a Unique appearance so she stands out from the enemies with her same model.

It's not that surprising since Let's not forget that Mihoyo or hoyo loves their homo ships(mostly lesbi) and will do it ever so subtle and not "forcing down our throat" style cause CCP and they do care for their Characters and their hetero ships either ends in sad or bittersweet endings, as much i prefer Straight ships better myself but if gay characters are represented and characterized well like Jeht here

It's beautiful, and I love it, but it does feel like it's typical Hoyoverse, throw in plenty of lines and animations that can be interpreted as gay, but with just enough ambiguity that they can deny it if pressed. But this seems more direct than most (tho Ninguang and Beidou at last year's Lantern Rite was pretty direct as well). I do love Jeht a lot, tho. I hope she shows up again and they give her more of a Unique appearance so she stands out from the enemies with her same model.

This is the majority of genshin shippers sadly, they love to push their gay ships down everyone's throats. I'm sapphic myself and I'm fine with most ships, regardless if they're same sex or hetero, tbh; But some of them really get pushed and forced on everyone and it's like people can't accept characters as being friends. I'm all for representation, but people can get so delulu about their ships and try to act like they're canon when nothing has been confirmed. You aren't a homophobe for not agreeing with a same-sex ship. There are same sex ships that I don't ship myself. If anyone calls you a homophobe for that, then they should grow up.
I do agree with you. Even though the dialogue is different for both travellers here, it could still be seen as friendship. I sort of ship Lumine x Jeht, but they could also be really good friends. i mean it might be because of the gender... she's a girl so she got less embarrassing open up with the girl but since aether is a boy she'll have to be carefull with her word since it could change their way relationship.... same gender relationship with different gender relationship has different outcome afterall.... it could be reverse if jeht is a boy and dialogue surely be the opposite from this one
