    This press has worked like a charm for my projects ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxajoEbapTfqWaadnqb04h6U576yxXp-FE . I didn't even secure it to my table top, mainly due to the fact that I was using a 15 lbs drill vise. It's not flimsy at all as to what others have claimed it to be. Make sure the locking nuts and levers are secured and there won't be any issues with light pressure and patience. I was able to drill through aluminum, plastic, and steel (steel took a while) with no problems at all. Yeah it took a little longer than a regular drill press, but I don't have the space OR the money for one.The instruction manual was worthless, but luckily assembling the press was intuitive. However, the manual would be good for ordering replacement parts if needed. There is a nice breakdown of the parts that are included in the kit. Before ordering, make sure it is compatible with your unit, it is clearly stated what models the press is compatible with.This was an excellent purchase for $40!!

    The quick change drill shaft makes this a multipurpose unit, a mobile mag drill, drill press and tube notcher, what a brilliant, simple idea. As a photographer that loves to dabble in the workshop with steel and wood, fitting out my studio with heavy duty functional stands and tables, I really like the simply way you put your videos together especially the almost 360 rotation shot, very eye catching that only a few will notice.

    Deine Videos und Projekte gefallen mir sehr gut!

    Since U like the Fein tools, get the 9" slugger. I have it and youll hardly ever use a ziz wheel to cut again. Extremely nice surface finish, and although it says recommended 1/2 Ive cut to 1" thick 48 inches wide, u just have to empty the chip hopper frequently. Ive made a vacuum port for mine though but need to find some high temp hose and the chips carry all the heat away and have melted standard shop vac hoses.

    Hey mate, I came across you weld table video and was that impressed I checked out your page and subscribed. Keep em coming, a lot of tips on there. One question, when doing small work, how do you choose whether to use TIG or MIG? Is it about the thickness of material vs heat distortion or more??

    • @TheMetalist
      @TheMetalist  4 роки тому +2

      Thank you 😁
      One thing is the look, Tig looks way better (my one) les grinding! "Stainless or Aluminium"
      If it had to hold to 100% i choise Tig, better control!
      Tig gets more heat into the material! Sometimes to much!
      I think is up from welder to welder, one is faster and another is slower.

    Hallo nochmal, ich baue gerade diesen Bohständer nach und will jetzt die M16 Gewinde schneiden. Ist das eine normale Akku Bohrmaschine bei 0:43 oder etwas anderes...? Ich hab hier ne ziemlich starke Maschine, aber die tut sich dermaßen schwer, dass ich den Vorgang erstmal abgebrochen habe. Much obliged!
