I enjoy watching your videos and you do great work, very creative....the only thing with this project, to me, the magnetic drill is for when you can't put the thick metal under the drill press. Anyone who has bought a decent mag base drill, will definitely already have a drill press. Edit: After doing some research (I have only used a mag drill once) it seems you cant use the angular cutters in a drill press, so the advantages of these cutters can only be used in a mag drill.....so I get it.
as a mag. drill user I commend your work on this stand. its heavy duty and I like that. The only thing I question is the laminating of sheet steel in the base, it might cause the magnet to over heat during prolonged use or heavy drilling. I used 1/2" plate for my base and it has served me well for over 20 years.
Fajnie ci to wyszło.
i never understood what polish people collect the junk from our streets until i found your channel :D the project is nice, but i think, a drillpress is a machine, every shop should have (especially if you do work that justifies having a mag drill) i'd really like to see you build a milling machine from scrap stuff. i tried this several times and failed horribly, would be nice to see if you could do it, just because my working style is shockingly similar to yours.
Nice job. I liked the built in storage made from 6 mm plate. That thing is not going anywhere. I suspect that you will find your clamping arrangements to be annoying when changing drill bits and cutters. Suggested solution would be to make them swivel out of the way.
Congratulations on your underpowered drill press! I'm a fan of your show, but as a fellow fabricator, you will probably be much happier with a decent drill press (i don't mean a big box store bought unit). I will give credit where credit is due. It probably didn't cost you a thing to build, and it looks sturdy as hell.
off-course amazing work, but not a practical drill at all ! there are enough alternative easy methods to drill in short areas, after the whole effort put in to make this base ! still you want to clamp the object properly to fix in that height , it also won't get the right balance if the drill object is longer or heavier. But the finishing of your work is awesome !
I just magnetically attach my mag drill to the flange of a big offcut of a universal beam and clamp the piece to be cut to the same surface....in most cases...job done. I'd rather have all that making time for using the drill.
@Joe T it's an evolution 10 inch multi material blade. It's only ment to be used on the evolution 3 saw that hes using though. I looked into it already and it sounds like it's more for a light user. The saw and blades only like $200 combined.
yep nice job but i'd just clamp the steel to a table lol or just put a cutter chuck in a drill press if i needed to, although it would be handy for some jobs i can see but there's always a way around it
Nice stand. I built my mag drill stand so that I could use a drill vice with it.

Can we all please take a moment to appreciate the awesome edit around the 5:34 mark?
I was going to make this, paused on the project and this is better than the way i was going to make it.
Going to copy this plan.

Great video. But damn.... I thought I overbuild. That’s a beast of a stand. Awesome

What an interesting project. I really enjoyed watching this thanks for sharing
Great press i think i would rather have a electro magnet drill than a drill press thanks for the ideas
Good advertising for evo saws, even if it isn't sponsored.
Greate job what kind of evolution type is that saw on time 1:19 And what sawblade you need? Does it works good for steal?
I appreciate the occasional editing to the music. :-)
Should direct a movie , hidden talent , a bliss to watch
Muy buen trabajo 👍🏻⛰🦅
I am building one of this. Awesome. Thank you for sharing.
Very nice work enjoy the video thanks for that 👍👏👏👏👏🌺🌹

Very very good 👌👍👍👍
Enjoyed watching this again. Perfect music and beautiful work!
Wow .Evolution cut like that 0:38 .. good to know
It is a just a awesome job thanks for teaching us personally I really appreciate it 👍
There are no more words to compliment you on.!
yOU BUILT SOMETHING THAT REVERSES THE ADVANTAGES OF HAVING A MAG DRILL IN THE FIRST PLACE,,, WAY TO GO
I really enjoyed watching your video. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Austria.
thank you for making the grinding sounds go to the music. that made me so happy

Thanks for the great idea. Perfect for the jobsite and portable!
Beautiful!! Greetings from Patagonia Chile!!
4:28 first time I see some one on you tube, destroy a tool, to make another one, smart! ...great video. Thank you.
I think the 3/8" thick steel door is a little excessive, but neat as hell!
Very nice...but i was thunking it would be a swivel base
Brilliant editing from 1:20 !
Excelente maestro 👏👏👏
Usuario Privado mamasale
Super !
GREAT VIDEO IM GONNA MAKE ONE FOR MY MAG DRILL THANK YOU
What is the name for those end mill drills and who makes them? Great videos!
Who would dislike this video???
W O W...how very clever and ingenious
Całkiem mądre urządzenie i przydatne .. Masz talent ..pozdr
Niezla ilosc narzedzi trzeba posiadac by do it yourself ale i tak fajnie ze cos zrobione jest wlasnymi rekami.

Super clean 👍👍👍👍👍👍
great job and amazing video ...............

Greetings from the USA!
Witam. Mam pytanie, jaką tarczę do metalu masz założoną na ukośnicy?
Gostaria de saber a mesma coisa.
Świetna sprawa, oczywiście łapka w górę :)
You are a true artist my friend!

Eres una máquina. Un trabajo excelente. 👍🏼👍🏼

0:29 What type of saw is that? Looks like its for wood?
carbide teeth
Tack welding to the beat. I like it!
I have a great use for my rotabroach. Thank you for the idea
Excellent job I’ll have a go at making one probably it won’t be as good as yours
That is pretty cool and a great idea, I would ll made one of thin for my mag drill👍.was the material 1/5” and 1/2” drill base?
1:27 nice sync !
Great job man, nice tool for the shop. Keep'um coming.
Excellent work 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
What a great channel! I am almost happy winter is coming. Lots more time in the shop...
Very, very, very good job.
💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
Super :)
Wiertła tez niczego sobie, zbiór jak z tokarki
Dzięki Krzysztof! :)
that's awesome bro but I reckon you need to pimp that up with an electro magnetic vice.
Your wish has been granted:

Making music!!!! Nice work
Does the mag drill benefit to standard drilling machine somehow ? Not considering it’s portability.
That evolution saw u where cutting whit is it built for metall or just metall blade on it?
That is next level for sure. Thanks so much for sharing that
great, very good invention. In my country they do not sell the evolution brand, a pity they are wonderful. claim advertising!
Can you tell me how long your carbide blade lasts on your eco saw before you need to sharpen it?
So good job.Thanks.
Excelentes herramientas buena idea
Nice stand but for the time and steel used couldn't you just get a cheap drill press with more drilling options?
yep nice job but i'd just clamp the steel to a table lol or just put a cutter chuck in a drill press if i needed to, although it would be handy for some jobs i can see but there's always a way around it
Nice work but a bit overkill, no?
Needs to be thick for the magnet to properly hold.
When you got the mag drill evolution gave you the normal chuck for normal drill?
Yes, they give you :)
Wszystko super.
Great fabricating.
I'm your bigest fan 🤠😍
realy, the bigest fan of Made in Poland ?
Every body know that all "Made in Poland" fans' have an fso polonez fiat polski at home ! ;)
That is absolutely fantastic
Amazing work as always!
Why don't you use the built in coolant/lube system?
No i system załamany😂😂Można prosić opinie Elektronarzędzi Evolution?? Szczegulnie ukośnicy i piły do metalu.
Pozdrawiam
Mag Drills are awesome.
great video, welding goes to music rhythm jajaja
👍😘👍💕nice job
another great video thumbs up
Brilliant video thank you
Well done job.
cái lưỡi cắt bàn đỉnh quá
