If Nicktoons Attack of the Toybots ever gets a remaster. This game should be included as an expansion with extra levels based on the concept art. Kinda like how Bowser’s Fury was included in the remaster for Super Mario 3D World
Pretty cool video! I don't think I've ever seen a game made in 10 weeks or less that has this much polish. The closest comparison I have is Bowser's Fury, but that was made in like 8 months, 10 weeks is pretty small compared to that.
10 Weeks?! And I thought Mega Man 7 had a very short development cycle. It's weird, I remember seeing an ad for this game and thought it was just for the DS, had no idea it was for the PS2. I don't really see myself getting a game as short as this even though I loved watching El Tigre but maybe I'll consider looking into it.
Well, I've got good news for you, one website I found has ripped the soundtrack of this game itself. I have converted it into its playable format and will be found in my community tab channel. The only bad news is that someone needs to upload it here. Hope it helps!
Every time when I search for a good PS2 platformer this game gets recommend to me, but I always thought it was a trash game. After see this review I wanna play this game so bad
There are also 3 unlockable cheat codes in the PS2 port of El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera but a 6 digit code is required to unlock them, I tried to Google it and they’re not even uploaded to the internet. Also, if gameplay of El Tigre is on UA-cam, why can’t someone upload a OST of the game?
About that, I found the OST of this game, you may search it at my community tab channel. The only thing left to do is for someone to upload it. I don't think I would be capable of preserving something this valuable as I would be bad in the editing stuff for OSTs like this. If you want to do it, then be my guest.
6:38 I think it would have been cool that if you have save data for the El Tigre game and Toybots on your Ps2 Memory Card/ Wii System Memory, you would be able to rescue El Tigre in Toybots. Kind of like a cross save bonus
I just finished watching through the entirety of El Tigre today on Paramount Plus and I’ve gotta say, this series was pretty great. At first I didn’t really know much of this show much at all, and while i have seen a few clips of it and I was interested in this show’s premise I just didn’t watch it until i decided to give it a full watch for the first time. Great characters, great voice acting, great action, pretty funny humor. This is definitely one of Nickelodeon’s most underrated cartoons ever made. People who haven’t watched it yet should give it a try. Too bad it only lasted 1 season. No kidding that I say that it took 5 days to watch the whole series. Since normally on my episode rankings I tend to procrastinate a lot cause of stuff like school, my personal life, and other hobbies. Here’s my episode ranking of El Tigre Season 1 (the only season) Sole Of A Hero: 7/10 Night Of The Living Guacamole: 8/10 Enter The Cuervo: 9/10 Fistful of Collars: 8/10 Fool’s Goal: 9/10 El Tigre, El Jefe: 10/10 Zebra Donkey: 10/10 Adios Amigos: 10/10 The Mother of All Tigres: 10/10 Old Money: 8/10 The Late Manny Rivera: 7/10 Party Monsters: 7/10 The Mustache Kid: 10/10 Puma Licito: 7/10 Miracle City Worker: 9/10 Dia de los Malos: 9/10 Yellow Pantera: 10/10 Rising Son: 7/10 The Curse of the Albino Burrito: 6/10 La Tigressa: 8/10 Ballad of Frida Suarez: 7/10 Fool Speed Ahead: 8/10 Miracle City Undercover: 8/10 The Bride of Puma Loco: 9/10 Eye Caramba: 10/10 Clash of The Titan: 9/10 The Grave Escape: 9/10 Burrito’s Little Helper: 6/10 Crouching Tigre, Hidden Dragon: 7/10 The Cactus Kid: 8/10 A Mother’s Glove: 8/10 The Good, The Bad, & The Tigre: 9/10 A Fistful of Nickels: 8/10 Animales: 7/10 Tigre + Cuervo Forever: 8/10 The Thing That Ate Frida’s Brain: 8/10 Stinking Badges: 9/10 Mech Daddy: 8/10 The Return of Plata Peligrosa: 10/10 Chupacabros!: 7/10 Love & War: 10/10 Wrong & Dance: 8/10 Oso Solo Milo: 7/10 Silverwolf: 7/10 The Cuervo Project: 7/10 The Golden Eagle Twins: 8/10 Dia de los Padres: 8/10 Mustache Love: 8/10 Back to Escuela: 10/10 No Boots, Not Belt, No Brero: 8/10 8.2/10 ------------------------------------- Rating of Whole series 8.2/10
For someone who hasn’t played this game, I’ve gotta say that I wish we got to see Mikla in the show. I’m just started watching the series properly for the first time with the first 20 episodes. And they’ve 50 episodes in total. (Because I count shows with segments as separate and not as one, and multi-part episodes of shows I count as 1, just wanted to show you how my episode rankings work)
I saw that el tigre cartoon a really long time ago maybe like 9 or more years ago.. I was wondering why I've never heard of it anymore, but what I do remember was this flash game called "The Good the Bad & El Tigre" it had some nice music tbh really noice I still remembered the music and game sadly flash is down so playing it is a bit hard bc whenever I tried to play it on websites the game would be broken and no longer playable so it's such a shame that flash had to stop working.
Just yesterday I was watching an El Tigre review and it brought up this game and earlier today, I actualy found a copy of the game at a retro game shop (didn't buy it though).
Omega, if you're gonna do a El Tigre DS Review. I'll give you a quick explanation since I bought it last month, it's a basic beat'em up side scroller. It's good in my opinion.
From what I researched El Tigre was canceled because Nick thought the show was racist towards Mexicans when in reality Mexico was proud of Nick for making a cartoon that takes place there. Plus this wouldn’t be Nick’s last cartoon to feature Spanish Mexican characters as another good example being “The Cassagrandes” the spinoff of “The Loud House”
El Tigre For The PS2 OH MY GOD That Game Its Good But Unfortunately It's Too Short On Ps2 But On Nintendo DS It's Okay I Guess But PS2 El Tigre Is Extremely Short 4 Levels
Game is probably really cool, but the non voice acting for cutscenes this is disappointing cause the show has a really good voice cast. Grey Delisle, Richard horvitz, John Dimaggio, list kinda goes on.
I just rediscovered my love for El tigre thanks to Maya and the three on Netflix, It would be so cool If it came back in some sort of way
Jorge said he wanted to bring El Tigre back!
@@flodoesthings2408let's spray for ir to happen
Well i got two good news. The show is now in paramount plus, and el tigre was added as a playable character in nicktoon all star brawl 2 😄

My god, this game brings back so many memories, i've been trying to remember it's name since then
dude, if we somehow get the soundtrack ripped, and available online, that would be awesome

@@shadowrock The website's name is vgm hcs64. I'll give you url in my community tab as UA-cam is quite strict about it.

Mitcla was going to appear in the cancelled third season as the main antagonists alongside Django. Let's hope a revival happen to see these two return

I’m already in the process uploading the entire OST of the game. So far, I uploaded one on my channel, you can listen to it if you want to.
@@AdrianisChillin Nice, thanks for doing this. You're doing an honest work over the uploads you made here.
I just remember a browser Flash game.
Then again, I've never had a PS2.
This game is basically crash bandicoot if all the levels were stormy ascent

The fact that it's so short really lets you know that they were forced to rush this game to get it out of the door.

10 weeks of development... I think ET on the Atari 2600 had more development time... I'm not judgeing the reuse of assets for 1 second for this game.

FYI The Episode In The Ps2 Is Miracle City Worker
I played this on playstation 2 back in the day, and I fkn loved it

El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera Was A Great Show On Nickelodeon
Damng attack of the toybots gameplay like its probably the same platform they used
It play like nicktoons attack of the toybots maybe he was even supposed to be playable in the console version
I mean they also had computer games of this as well

El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera On PlayStation 2 Is Okay But It's Really A Short Game
I knew there was a game when it was made because my cousin has ps2 and when it out i played it
I had this game for the PS2 and it NEVER worked. Even to this day, I can’t play it 😭

It deserved one

Yeah, it's a letdown it has no VO in the cutscenes
