Whenever i read or watch an comic with Akyuu in it i always remember that one depressing but wholesome doujin..... Ahhhh.... My heart pumps from remembering the song made on it....
honestly lore does point to the fact that she might at least live longer than her previous incarnations 1: there are implications that her previous incarnations might've died as a result of stress and overwork, but Akyuu is rather laid back and relaxed 2: Zun has mentioned that with modern medicine Akyuu would actually be able to live for a very long time, and Gensokyou has Eirin now (which is probably better than having modern medicine) 3: it's outright been stated in some more recent lore that unlike her ancestors Akyuu has actually started getting stronger and healthier (even if only by a marginal amount) as she got older instead of getting weaker and sicker like she should have so on the whole it seems likely that a combination of her more relaxed lifestyle and Eirin's medicines have probably helped her to overcome the usual limit on her age also, if she was about to die then her lore indicates that she'd need to spend several years preparing for her death in order for the reincarnation to happen properly and there's no indication that Akyuu has even started this process, indicating that even she still thinks she has a few years left.
